Loved this adorable little pie shop -and glad it was open in the off-season! (Be sure to double check the hours but it’s generally open from 9-5 each day according to Google maps). My husband and I drove out about 15 min from downtown Palisade in late January to get some fruit pies and were surprised by much more than just sweets. This shop has everything - coffee, ice cream, jams, jellies, pickled goods, salsas, cheeses and meats - all local (much from Anita’s produce, who I gather is the owner of both). I couldn’t help myself - I walked out with two mini pies (key lime and apple), two slices of strawberry peach rhubarb, two jars of salsa, Rosé jam and a block of garlic habanero cheese. Oops! Will definitely visit again the next time we’re back in the area, we were in a hurry but would love to hang out and grab some coffee to go along with my pie, too.

Wish I could give 10 stars. This is the PERFECT quintessential bakery and coffee shop. The ladies were the nicest people. The pies are outstanding!! You get a great product for your money. They have very nice seating outside and inside. And the hours of operation are very convenient being 9-5 daily. This is our new favorite spot.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free options

Palisade Pies. Palisade Colorado. For a pie place there’s a lot to it. First, if you love pie this is the place to be. Beautiful creations concocted by the very talented young woman who works there.On top of pies they have a nice selection of coffee cookies, homemade pork sausage with delicious flavors, homemade salsa, queso, relishes and canned fruits and veggies . Small indoor seating, outdoor seating surrounded by orchards with spectacular views. How could you not stop here?

We were just passing through and stopped by Palisade Pies and it was so worth it. The people who work there are so kind they are like angels and the food is delicious! They have so many great things in such a tiny little store and is a treasure waiting to be found. They have cookies, hand pies, coffee, and they had the cutest little treats for Valentine’s Day! It was such a treat coming here and I highly recommend it 100/10

This is an amazing place. We stopped in on a Sunday. The place was immaculate and stuffed full of goodies. If you are looking for a unique food gifts, great ice cream and drinks, this is the place. They have many canned goods, gifts and lots of those super yummy pies.

Oh my goodness I Love this place if you are around town this is a must try!! When you're going to be coming to town and you want a certain pie or pies made you can call ahead !! These pies are a hand made specialty they put love and kindness into every pie!! They can do gluten-free also you have to ask and pre-order!! If you're here during the Peach festival ordering ahead is going to be hard to squeeze in this is one of there busiest times of the year!! I also really enjoyed the ice cream and hibiscus lemonade we also grabbed the last few personal pies (like I said before order ahead) they sell out quick, you also can in joy the sites out front! Thanks for having us see you next time!

What a GEM!!!! This was the best pie I have ever had!!!! Right off the road as you drive through Palisade wine country. What lovely ladies as well, they were so sweet! Really great selection of local products !

Was reading about things to do in Palisade and the moment I read the word, “pie” I knew it was a must visit! Definitely worth it! I had a personal peach pie and coffee and had a lovely conversation with Anita. Also bought some jam and salsa while I was there and can’t wait to return. Definitely swing by when you’re in the area!

I was visiting family in the area and saw the sign with my name on it. Anita's Palisade Pies. Had to stop and check it out. They had a large selection, and people were picking up their holiday pies. Decided on a Chocolate Cream Pie. It was drizzled with chocolate on top, and I just wanted to dig in.And I was so disappointed. The filling was good, but the crust was like concrete. I was expecting a nice flaky crust, and I got something inedible. I really don't like to give a bad review to a small, local bakery, but when I pay almost $20 for a Chocolate Pie, I expect it to be at least as good as a frozen one from the grocery store. Maybe it was an anomaly. But, I will not try another pie from this bakery. I hope that others weren't so disappointed.

We have bought our pies from here regularly. Wonderful service to match their amazing pies!!! They also carry a good variety of hot sauces, jams, jellies, fresh baked breads (with gluten free options), and even sausages for grilling! Thank you for the yummy desserts, and thank you for being open and having a great selection the afternoon before Thanksgiving!!!

This homey pie shop in Palisade is exactly what you would have in mind if you were in the mood for a slice of delectable pies which are sold by the slice, as well as by the dozen if you’d like. Aside from their namesake, this cozy shop also sells local sweets and treats custom curated to regional and seasonal flavors and favorites making it a must stop for any one passing through Grand Junction, especially on this beautiful slice of town on Palisade.

Ordered a GF caramel apple pecan pie and it was as delicious as it was beautiful. I also bought some GF cookies. Also delicious. I will definitely buy from them again.Dietary restrictions: They have gluten free choices.

I was on a girls’ weekend in Palisade and we were biking the Fruit & Wine Byway, excited to stop at Palisade Pies along the way, but we weren’t going to make it by closing. I called Anita to check the hours and she asked what kind of pie I wanted and left one out for us on the pie rack. We were so excited to strap it on the bike rack and enjoyed the delicious peach pie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Anita went above and beyond and the whole experience was a highlight of our trip.

Sooooooo good! We stopped mid morning looking for something to eat. Ended up with a whole pie, a couple of lattes, and some delicious zuchini bread. Went outside to the orchard for a beautiful spontaneous breakfast. Loved every minute of it!

Very nice and informative. Great pies too. Came back today on 11/2. Got Fresh peach pie and pumpkin pie, fresh out of the oven. Must visit. If you have a special order call ahead. The pumpkin meringue pie was good!!! Actual real pumpkin and not canned.

Great place. Did not like the cherry pie I bought at all. Better when I bake one! Gluten free, w/ no crust on the bottom! Crumbles on top instead of crust or lattice. Can only get these per special order. Strange concept for me.. The one staff member was in a hurry to close. Disappointing :(

I went in here on Memorial Day weekend and two young men were closing up. Instead of sending us away they let us in, sat and chatted with us and sold us a pie. These two guys could have easily just not opened the door but they went out of their way to take care of us. I have to admit I was surprised at how great these two teenagers were at communication and professionalism. They made it a great experience. Oh and the pie was amazing!

It is one of those rare treasures I want to keep all to myself, but want the entire world to know about. Well worth the confusing drive and on the weekends, I am told they bring out even MORE amazingness, which means, I will DEFINITELY be returning.

An amazing selection of pies that all look wonderful. The ones I chose were super!Along with a wide selection of jams, coffees, and ice cream.(The huckleberry ice cream was probably the best I ever had)Depending on where you were coming from, it is a little out of the way, but I am so glad I went.The owner wasn't in when I was there, but the lady who was did super.
