For many years Palisade has had a serious breakfast problem. There are just precious few places serving food before noon, and out of these limited choices there are even fewer still actually noteworthy. Haus of Purrl has answered this problem by finally offering both locals and wine-hungover tourists alike a worthy morning meal. This tiny food shack isn't slinging basic food truck fare however, but homemade southern delights cooked with whole heaps of love.Both sweet and savory crepes, as well as really good coffee and tea drinks are delicious menu constants, but her sandwich board daily specials must not be ignored. Soul food delicacies, creole classics and creative breakfast plates often make an appearance and cannot be missed. In the high season the wait can be long, but this mostly one-woman show makes food more than worthy of the extra time needed to craft it. Her courtyard is a charming place to wait or enjoy your takeout in.The four star rating here is only because of the sheer amount of plastic being used. Other food trucks and taco stands have gotten along just fine with cardboard, paper, and foil. I'd love to see her follow suit and be a better steward to the land. It's the only reason this is just an occasional special treat for me instead of a regular morning meal. Still, as far as breakfast in Palisade is concerned, Haus of Purrl has no equal.

For the love of God, eat her delicious food. But don't complain for a second on how long you have to wait. Sedona is a one person culinary army that will make you an instant believer in human kindness as well as a fan of her food!From the dishes & the desserts, to her daily one offs. Haus of Purrl is a unique eatery that has no equal. The owner/operator pours love into every meal and sweet treat she makes and it shows. The menu is constantly changing, and I've noticed over the years that other businesses around the valley will follow her lead and steal her ideas. I suppose imitation is a form of flattery, but Haus of Purrl is the innovator. A quaint little spot, colorful drinks and tasy comfort food.

I absolutely love going to Haus of Puurl! The food never disappoints and I always receive service with a smile! I highly recommend the breakfast crepes, the eggs are so fluffy and delicious! I love to try the different dishes she comes up with! And the sweets, the best! Don’t sleep on this place!Vegetarian options: She can adjust almost any dish for vegetarian options

Haus of Purrl is a wonderful find! We had a couple breakfast burritos that were delicious. They were filled with egg potato cheese and sausage and came with salsa and sour cream plus fresh fruit! Delicious and nutritious! The owner is a delightful woman!Vegetarian options: The breakfast burritos can be ordered with avacado instead of bacon or sausage.

Haus of Purrl is my favorite food location in Palisade...and it's NOT because there's only a few options. Sedona is wonderful and she takes care of her customers. It's obvious she loves what she does. Her breakfast burritos are likely the best in the Valley. Her pastries are to die for...but really, they might eventually kill me. We've got to support places like Haus of Purrl. It's what makes Palisade special.

Wasn't horrible. The owner has a bit of an ego but the product doesn't warrant that. Handed us the pager that never paged us and when we came up to get our food was told, "This is how I know someone hasn't been here before is when they wait for the pager to go off." Yeah, that is what those are for and they always work that way everywhere else! For such a big headed owner you would think the food was gonna be over the top amazing but it just wasnt. Ordered a crepe and the sides were a clementine orange and bag of lays potato chips. "Fancy"

This place is top notch!! Incredibly generous portions with out of this world flavor. Hands down best beignets I’ve ever had. A mountain of powder sugar on top no joke. The sauce and shrimp on the poboy was so rich and flavorful. The monte cristo uses French toast for the bread… come on, y’all gotta try this place. Two thumbs way up!! Thank you so much for your amazing food and hospitality! Keep up the great work

A MUST visit for breakfast, lunch or brunch! Sedona is someone who cares about feeding the community great food made from the heart. From the candied bacon, EVERY SINGLE SANDWICH like the cuban or ruben, popcorn, Made from scratch French pastries, crafted coffee drinks, delicious smoothies and the most intriguing fairy-like lemonades. The food is amazing, Sedona is a genuinely kind and sincere human being. I cannot recommend this place enough. Oh, and there's treats for your fur babies as well! Do yourself a favor and visit Lily Purrl.

This little “Haus” is so much more than coffee and pastries (though those are delicious and in great variety). The menu offers a combination of freshly prepared breakfast and lunch items in addition to a few heat and serve options for dinner with the family. They offer call ahead ordering, so if you are pressed for time, you can still enjoy thoughtfully prepared food and drinks. With so many low quality fast food options, Haus of Purrl was a refreshing discovery.

Amazing spot in Palisade with friendly service and quality food. The drink menu is unique and refreshing with a lot of options for everyone. The iced matcha creme is best matcha I’ve had! Sedona (owner and chef) runs it all by herself and truly cares about the menu and each dish she puts out. Talking with her feels like a warm hug as well, so go chat with her and eat her delicious food!!!!

Amazing! Simply amazing! Sedona at Haus of Purrl has a talent for authentic fresh food with a southern flair and brings that talent full force in every item she makes! I work in Palisade and kept hearing about this little food hut right across the railroad tracks of downtown but never got to try it out until yesterday. We got the bourbon chicken, shrimp and grits, strawberry French toast, and beignets (they were fresh and still warm you guys, you can't get this stuff anywhere else local like this!) All three meals were prepared and presented beautifully packaged within a few minutes, she gives you a buzzer even. She makes her food a work of art, your eyes light up and your tummy becomes this beast that must be filled with these fabulous treats. I'm just amazed at how they are able to get such bold flavors out of such a tiny kitchen. You can literally taste the love in this food! It was a if we went to a upper scale sit down restaurant, except you are treated with the beauty of outside seating. Essentially, what I'm saying is that if you want some made with love homestyle creole/southern food folks, y'all better get over to the Haus of Purrl, definitely worth crossing those railroad tracks for, look for that blue tiny house and you've arrived at your little slice of heaven! Thank you Sedona for being who you are (awesome) and sharing your love of food with us all!!! Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

Different location than what is showing on the map, we found the Haus in Palisade on Main St and First. We were hopeful for a simple coffee but also came away with pastries, some of the best breakfast burritos we've ever had, and recommendations for future stays in town! Sedona was serving the energy we needed to start our drive back home and we'll be sure to come here again on our next visit to Palisade!

The food is amazing! I have tried quite a few things and there are still so many more options to try. I have had biscuits/gravy, eclairs, apple strudel, pumpkin cake, cream puffs, roasted chicken, salad, and brownies. Everything is homemade and fresh. The portions are huge and the price is more than reasonable. The owner really takes the time to get to know each of her customers. Haus of Purrl is a local gem!

Customer service: she was so rude about a small vibrating notifier. Don’t put it down until she tells you. Might as well have slap my hand with a ruler.Food: trash can worthy. French toast was toast with butter and soggy, no French or cinnamon to be found. Fruit is old and spotty. Avocado toast is burnt dry and soggy toast with sliced avocado and plain egg. No seasonings at all ( I could have made at home myself). Burritos was okWill not waste money here again. Reviews must be from locals with not many options and who are trying to help her build business.

Sedona is a local gem. Every delicious dish is single handedly prepared by her. In addition to the great food and beverages, you’ll probably be generously greeted with a warm welcome like “hello gorgeous”. Then she’ll ask questions about where you’re from (if your visiting) and how your family’s doing (if you’re local).You’re at the Chef’s table every time you stop by the Haus of Purrl. The quality of the food, the friendly service, and Sedona’s smile make it a brunch/lunch staple for locals. Everything on the menu is a local fave. If Sedona made it, then you ordered the right thing. Haus of Purrl is a must for visitors looking for that true Palisade experience. It’s the produce, the food, the beverages, AND the people that make Palisade a “yes, please!” town ❤️
