It’s an okay thrift store but the real story is the art on the outside wall.

I used to enjoy going in here. However the prices have gotten out of hand. This is a thrift store not an antique store. You know you would sell more if coats and clothes weren't 80-90% of retail cost. I'm all about helping the animals but $7.50 for a ratty t-shirt is unacceptable.

We loved this thrifting experience!! I love anything that gives to animals and the whole store promotes the shelter in really fun ways. They have great prices, loads of books, and really unique stuff. Photo of the stuff I got!

My favorite thrift store in Pagosa Springs! I love supporting the little animals. The store is clean and organized.I love the rack where all of the clothes are only $1. I've bought a couple of pieces off of it.I got some yarn here too, and a cute, small coin purse. My friend got a great bargain on shoes here, and housewares to set himself up in his new home.

Dirty, messy little thrift store with so much potential in a fabulous location. It could use some cleaning, organizing, and sorting. Difficult to find anything useful in the chaos. 2 stars for the cause.

Definitely enjoyed visiting this shop! Staff was so friendly and attentive! Great with the kiddos. We all were able to find some type of items to purchase. Everything was so reasonably priced! They had a lot of cute items to look throughout the whole shop.

I have loved this store for years, but right now it's frustrating. Further, I will delete this review once things go back to NORMAL. For now though... $5 for dirty used t-shirts? $10 used polos? Seriously? I noticed 3 things I wanted today and didn't buy because whoever has taken over pricing is getting too ambitious. Example - there's a pair of brand new Carhartt pants that still have the tags on them. Their retail price was $34.99. The thrift store has them marker $25 (that's 71% of FULL BLOWN RETAIL). Um, so an outlet mall (typically about ~50% of retail) location is now cheaper than my local thrift store that gets items FOR FREE? You need to GET BACK to how an actual thrift store works. AKA Durango's Humane Society. All T shirts - $1. All Jeans - $3. All Jackets $5. Etc... Etc... and stop with this 'tagging every single item and asking (sometimes more even) a good portion of what it costs new'. I love you guys, but it's supposed to be fun to shop at thrift stores!2024 update: Hasn't gotten any better. $6 flannel NEW AT WAL MART is $9.50 here USED 😂😆😂

Visited this store a while back while traveling, was a fun stop while staying in town. Had passed by it many a time and never gone in.Found some music CD's that I converted and listened to while on the road the next part of my trip. Was glad to make purchases that go to a good cause. Store had an interesting selection of items.

I have been going to this store since I was very young and it’s one of my favorite places in Pagosa. Everything is extremely inexpensive and I can never get out without buying some of their books. When they don’t know the price of a new item, they look it up on eBay and then set their price as up to half of the listing price. An easy place to find hidden gems

The staff was friendly. Great thrift store. Good prices!! I love to thrift and this one is up there on my list of favorites nationwide. It's a little messy but it's a thrift store. The dressing rooms have huge mirrors and lots of space too😁

Usually fun to check for good deals or to buy stuff you don't need. Beware if you see something you want. Better buy it as it will be gone the next day or before. Normally the people working there are quite pleasant. Boy, did we end up with a cranky one today! On top of that, she got all snooty and snarky when I questioned why she charged 67 cents tax on a $2.00 item. The way I figure that is a 33% tax rate. I know this was petty but she already had been rude and it does irritate me when a sales clerk cannot compute even the most simple math.

Great selection of treasures for anyone willing to look! I've found many gems here over the years, from a Filson duster jacket and snake skin purse to Carhart everything and camping equipment. After covid, it seems, the prices have increased dramatically, jeans that were around $5 before are now $10+, $1 dishes are now around $5 and outerwear $20+ from ~$10 previously. Helpful and mostly appreciative staff seem to genuinely enjoy working there--the smiles on their faces and work ethic are proof. I am looking forward to buying more of their, "My Child Eats Bugs," bumper stickers in the (hopefully) near future!

I first visited this thrift store in 2001 and it is a TREASURE TROVE of awesome grooviness. Visiting my Uncle Ron this coming Sunday for the week and you can BET I will be visiting this great little shop - I wear the clothes I have gotten in my 3 previous visits all the time and am constantly getting compliments on them. And the staff has always been wonderful. "Dirty, messy little shop - two stars for the cause"?! DMH - SHAME ON YOU.

This thrift store is only second to the one in Durango! I do think the prices have gotten too high over the last couple years, so I don't find myself going home with as many items as I used to. Still, every time I am downtown I stop in!

Beware if your brown. The employees and even the customers were very rude, condescending, and spoke to my family like we're stupid.

I always find a good buy! I'm here a week at a time and rarely walk out empty handed. It is one of the first places I shop when I visit Pagosa Springs. Highly recommend shopping there!

Super cheap prices that hasn't been picked over-- I found a 'St Patricks Academy' green sweatshirt for $2 *on* St. Patricks Day! Also snagged a great ugly hipster sweater for $4.50. Hidden gem as far as Thrift Stores go!

This place used to be alright... But the prices have gotten stupid. Craigslist, yard sales, eBay, Facebook.. and every other thrift store are way better places to find good deals. Staff has changed as well, no where near as cool as they used to be.

Usually a great variety of stuff and very reasonable prices. They take lots of donations so inventory turns over a lot.

Used to go here for craft items, kids clothes, work clothes, books, class supplies, etc. Recently one employee has been so negative we stopped going. The last straw- being called a "Dumb A** who can't read" for trying to donate an old TV. In the middle of trying to claim donating it, apologizing and explaining we could take it back, I was ignored. The woman was ranting about spray painting "NO T.V.'S!!!" all over the building. Last time the same woman was angry we found a "Lego Friends" & "Lego city" set for $3.00 each. She was embarrasingly loud, at the register complaining about the fact that we should pay more. I offered more $$$, but she was ignoring me. We were all happy at our find until being treated like this. We left both times hurt, sad, and ashamed.

I absolutely ove this place. Most stuff is priced reasonably and they most usually have a very good selection of stuff and besides that the money is for a good cause

Did not follow guidelines for masks that requires allowance for people with medical conditions. Very disappointing they care for animals with needs but cannot accommodate people with physical needs that make wearing a mask for periods of time impossible. Safe distancing should be sufficient and not make those able to get out occasionally stay home. Unkind to humans with disabilities on the part of the person who seemed to be "in charge" when I visited on a Friday. Very hurt.
