My wife & I have vacationed in the San Juans for 7 straight years and RPR is her favorite shop stop. The merchandise is nothing like you'll find elsewhere, hence the price. The owners are straight forward honest people and fun to cut up with. They are real people who love people. With today's marshmallow culture I get some of the negative reviews but these are business women people, not therapist. I believe most get that and that is why they always go back.

Where to start! The inventory is really great and the store is quite packed to the gills! It's almost like a hoarder decided to open a boutique! It is NOT somewhere you bring children, strollers, wheelchairs, crutches, or walkers or even if you're a bigger person because it is labyrinthine and has a lot of areas where you have to squeeze between things to move by! The elderly woman at the register is quirky and adorable! And that's the reason I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1!The woman who owns the store was working on a table and my husband had to move past her as we could not walk past due to aisle restrictions. She bent over the table and kind of fell into it after he went past and knocked over several items and I noticed she was kind of shaky almost as if impaired. I asked my husband "what happened?" And she turned to me, pointed at my husband and said "that man over there knocked into the table and made all this stuff fall over!" And my husband and I just locked eyes and he said "what the hell?!" And she went to picking up and I skirted by her and we continued on into the store.When we were done we headed to the register with a couple trinkets. A man in front of us had his kids bring up 2 trinkets and his wife had a little pair of knit gloves that were maybe $20 but his total was $130+ so he asked why they cost so much and the owner explained as follows:"Whenever we get any LV merchandise that is defective, we cut it up and sew it into other clothing items and then they become LV and that's why the price is what it is! You're paying for LV!" So they are committing fraud and copyright infringement!Then it was our turn at the register and two of my items (socks) did not have price tags and the owner looked right at me and asked if I peeled the tags off my purchase! To which I replied "no ma'am". And she said "are you sure? Don't worry about it. I will go find out how much they are!" So I left the store while my husband finished because I was about to say some things I could not take back and then I realized the best venue is this one! So enjoy the art, watch out for anything marked LV and if the owner is rude, you've been forewarned!

Harassed!! Ruined my afternoon... Very unhappy with customer service. Went to check out and was accused of tricking checkout attendant because price stickers wouldn't stay on the items I bought. I bought a couple of metal art magnets. My Mom also bought stuff from them. The lady with the checkout attendant went on and on about how I was tricking them... prices don't stay on rusty metal items. I tried to make sure the register had prices for them. But not everything is marked in store.In addition, i handed the register attendant my credit card twice while she was harassing me... and then I said sorry she has me confused.. and she said "No I Don't" twice in a row to me. Yeah she did.I am a local... I will never buy from this place again!!! Ever!! I'm ready to take this stuff back..How about if they mark their items with price tags that actually stay with the items. I think she charged me $2 dollars more for one of the items than it was not marked. But I chose not to get a receipt because I just wanted out of there. A+ hole rated place...

First I have to start with the owners AMAZING people. Their entire family is so sweet. I was so happy to meet them and be around them. Their billboards are so cute. The shop itself is absolutely my favorite place to be. I could spend days getting lost in it. 10/10 recommend going there. Love love love it. Must go! Thank you Patty and your entire family for such a great experience!

Very cool store! Family owned with lots of fun gift ideas! The displays were so beautiful I could have spent hours there. Definitely recommend to check it out!

My husband and I purchased a beautiful embellished cow skull at the 2023 Stock Show and were very happy with the purchase. The team was great, wrapped it up for us and we easily got it home. However, fast-forward about 2 months later and we are now dealing with an infestation of red legged ham beetles in our house. I snagged a picture of these green and blue iridescent beetles because I have never seen one in this area in my life. I took a picture and reverse image-searched to confirm the type of bug it is. There’s not a lot of info online but they are scavenger beetles and they tend to infest taxidermy and similar specimens (cow skulls) as well as dried meats, dog food, etc. We were finding these grubs on the floor under where we had it hanging, they burrowed into our couch and rugs (made of wool, unfortunately - so basically like a buffet) and took chunks out of the rug because of eating it. I also found the larvae inside the skull (we placed it outside as soon as we discovered the issue). We’ve turned the house upside down, vacuuming and disposing of the ones we’ve found and set out traps, fingers crossed that the issue has been resolved. I just wish I’d known ahead of time so we could have figured out a way to treat it first and thus I wanted to educate anyone else thinking of getting a skull from here as I can’t imagine ours was the only one.

This is definitely an interesting store. They do have lots & lots of items. From redesigned LV & luxury clothes to interesting home decor especially downstairs. They do have lots of custom jewelry, t-shorts & less expensive purses too. I found it charming but yes, some items are expensive. It is definitely not the kind of store for everyone. The owner is a mother daughter & husband that we’re all there. The daughter is definitely a character for sure, swore a few times in our conversation. She was nice to me & my husband talked about some of her travels, I can definitely see where people could get offended but I think worth going in for a look around. Store hours are very vague as she opens a bit late some days & closes early some times.

The guy at the counter clearly didn't want to be there and was short with everyone who walked in. Zero customer service skill. The things inside were cute but outrageously expensive for what they are

If there was a half star I would put that. We would always stop by their booth, every year that they were at NFR in Las Vegas… we would spend $$$ there but NEVER again! I was in line about to buy a necklace, but because I read the price differently, the older woman behind the register literally pushed me out of the way while saying, “if you can’t afford to buy this then move,” I was floored… even the other women in line were shocked. Never spending $$ here again. Rude women. I’m shocked… never been treated like this in my life.

I think this store could improve by not treating their customers horribly. This store makes Ouray look bad. I will never come back here. Also, post signs outside of the door if you don’t want customers bringing a drink or a stroller in instead of acting like jerks. It’s amazing what a little communication will do!

This is a wonderful unique and interesting store. The owners treat you like you are friends. I love the affection they show as mom and daughter. Plan time to spend looking because it is packed and something for everyone!!

I absolutely LOVE this store! There was so many unique items in it I couldn't see but a small percentage without spending much more time. I absolutely plan to go back and take more time and will probably buy at least one of the fun items. This is a must see store in Ouray!

Some of the rudest store owners and customer service I've ever encountered. Don't come open a store in Colorado, you make Ouray look bad. I'm glad I did not putchase anything from this store.
