Our family had a great time staying at the Ouray Inn! Carmen and Brett were great hosts and made our family and children feel welcome! The accommodations were great - comfortable beds, great views, and walkable to everywhere in town. We also loved the complimentary breakfast and happy hour. The main check-in space had tables to sit and play games while enjoying a cup of tea or hot apple cider. Overall 5 stars! We’ll be back! Thank you!

Love love love this place. I’ve been back 2x now. The owners are super friendly and the place is really well managed. Prime location in town and close to the main strip but away from a lot of the noise. Rooms are large and well kept, everything was very clean. Place has a classic rustic feel to it, feels like you’re on vacation in the mountains here. Highly recommend.

Loved my stay at the Ouray Inn! Hosts are nice and cabins are cozy and functional. The city is surrounded by mountains which makes a stunning view everywhere you look and it keeps its charm from the 19th century. Will like to come back to stay more in the area!

The cutest, cozy room & hotel we could have asked for! Brett & Carmen were SO kind and welcoming. My husband and I were on a fly by the seat of your pants road trip, and decided to head to Ouray. Brett got us a room quickly and reserved it over the phone. Carmen then called a few hours later to check in on our driving to make sure we could access our room no problem if the office had closed. Originally, we were only going to stay one night. We checked out in the morning to continue on our adventure and had some car difficulties, resulting in us needing another night. I called back and Carmen was quick to interrupt her own time off to make sure they had a room for us! She was so kind over the phone, checking to make sure we were okay and could make it safely back to the hotel. I chatted with her for a little when we returned, and I cannot express to you how absolutely genuine this couple is. They truly are so kind and caring to each person. If you get a second, listen to their story! They are an inspiring couple taking in what the world has to offer.I will absolutely, be back to Ouray Inn anytime I'm in Ouray. I would give them 10 stars if I could.Rooms: So comfty. The rooms are welcoming and cozy and I felt right at home. Beds are SO comfortable!Walkability: You are a hop and a skip from Main st, Perimeter Trail and the springs! Truly just park and go!Food & drinks: Happy hour in the evenings, yummy breakfast!

I stayed at Ouray Inn the night of March 18th and experienced a very comfortable stay. I hadn't made a reservation previously, but since it isn't primary tourist season I had no issue obtaining a room. The bed was very comfortable, the room was incredibly clean, and the views from the hotel were breathtaking -- all for a more than reasonable rate. Incredibly good bargain.

We stayed here from a Sunday, March 3rd - Mar 6th. It was a fantastic stay. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. Ouray is mostly closed this time of year but it was nice to have a slower pace. Ouray Inn is located two short blocks off of Main Street right dab in the middle of town. It was such an easy walk to anything in town. They are pet friendly however they are pretty strict on the pet not being in the bed at all. The room had a small kitchenette in it… we didn’t book one with it so we aren’t sure if all rooms have it (room 111) or they upgraded us. We will stay here again.

What a beautiful place to stay at in Ouray! It was our first time in town, and we loved it! Carmen texted me the day before to check our plans and everything went smoothly. The inn is dog friendly, they have cookies and wine every day at 4.30pm, and breakfast every morning; it's also a very short block away from the main street, so you can walk to all kinds of stores and eateries, no need for driving. Planning on going back to Ouray in the summer, will stay here again!Rooms: Room was all we needed, only issue was It was windy at night, so we bunched up an extra dog blanket we had at the bottom lf the door so wind wouldn't come in the room. Other than that, it very cozy, great views on 3 sides (we had the corner room 😊), very clean and easy to access.Food & drinks: Had cookies and wine in the afternoon, and breakfast. We needed hot water for our trip back home and Carmen had the electric kettle going for us in no time.

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Ouray Inn recently, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The inn's location was a highlight for us, as it was conveniently situated close to hiking trails, making it a perfect choice for outdoor enthusiasts. The accommodating hosts were also a standout feature. From the moment we arrived, Brett and Carmen made us feel welcomed and at home. They were always ready to provide helpful recommendations and tips for exploring the beautiful Ouray area. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay, and I felt like a valued guest throughout my time there.Another highlight of our stay was the breakfast. The inn served a delicious morning meal that exceeded our expectations. It was a great way to start the day before heading out for a day of hiking or exploring the town.Overall, my experience at the Ouray Inn was wonderful. The combination of its convenient location to hiking trails, accommodating hosts, and a fantastic breakfast made my stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend this inn to anyone visiting the Ouray area, and I can't wait to return for another visit in the future.

Thank you Brett for making our Honey moon great, for making us feel special and providing us with Champagne, and other yummies! And thanks for matching the price on your website. This place was very loud at night, and housekeeping wasn’t great, but overall we had an amazing view from our room, and they were very accommodating. Thanks again!Walkability: One block from Main Street

Our week and a half stay at the Ouray Inn for our wedding and honeymoon was fantastic! Brett and Carmen were more than accommodating to allow us to ship our wedding dress and suit ahead of time and even left us a a congrats and wedding gift of some champagne in our room! The experience was great, loved the morning breakfasts that were offered (variety each day) and the wine and cookies in the evening was great to look forward to as well. There is a porch that they allow guests to relax on and enjoy a few drinks. There are great views and Ouray is nice and quiet. Very short walk to the main store in town. The room was clean and enjoyable to stay in. Can't wait to come back!

Ouray is magical, and staying at the Ouray Inn makes it even better! The location is great- it's easy to leave your car and walk to main street, or take a hike. The rooms are clean and the beds soft. Breakfast every morning was wonderful (especially the biscuit and egg casserole- I had to ask for the recipe!). And I truly enjoyed meeting and chatting with Brett and Carmen. I felt right at home. Thank you so much-we will be back!

My husband and I stayed at the Ouray Inn for 3 nights in June. We were very happy with our stay there! Cameron and Brett are fantastic innkeepers- always there with a smile and a handy tip for us. We even ran into them hiking the Perimeter Trail one day (which is super easy to do right out the door of the hotel- no need to drive anywhere!). The rooms are not big but the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and all that we needed was there. The location is perfect- so close to all the restaurants and Main Street. You can just walk to everything. The 2nd floor patio is adorable with an absolutely incredible view. The breakfast in the morning isn't huge, but there are plenty of options. I had waffles most days and they even had biscuit, egg, and sausage sandwiches one morning. The picnic tables in the lobby work out perfectly for eating breakfast and getting to know others staying at the Inn. I researched forever trying to figure out where to stay on our trip and I'm so glad we stayed at the Ouray Inn- we will be back!

Just got back from a long weekend in Ouray and stayed at the Ouray Inn. The rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. The owner was friendly and helpful, the breakfast and happy hours were great. Breakfast rotated each morning so variety plus standbys like fruit, waffles, etc.The Inn is close to Main Street yet quiet and secluded. It was a lovely trip and we will definitely stay here again!Walkability: Located about a block or so from Main Street in the heart of town. We often just walked to meals since the Inn is so close to everything.

I had a lovely time at the Ouray Inn. Felt like home. Great views, close to town and the innkeepers go above and beyond to make it special. The wine and cookie happy hour is so cute, breakfast was homemade and was so delicious. I can’t say enough how much I loved it here. Such a positive experience and I can’t wait to go back and stay again.

We felt pretty misled when we got to our dog friendly room. It was located in the back of the main hotel, room 112, I believe. It was more of an underground basement cellar. The room was musky and dark, with low ceilings, and it was beyond tiny, there wasn’t enough space to have two full size open suitcases at the same time. The table in the room was broken and there were cobwebs in corners, including on the bathroom doorway so not sure when it was cleaned last. The towels had stains. And the shower drained very slowly, so after about 3 minutes you were standing in 6 inches of water. We brought our own bedding and I’m glad we did because I did not feel comfortable using what was provided. The manager who checked us in was WONDERFUL, but everything afterwards was pretty awful. It was Labor Day weekend so we chose not to complain as we knew there was no other open rooms. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend it.Rooms: Small, dark, low ceilingWalkability: Very close to town

We stayed for 3 nights in beautiful Ouray and we’re so glad we chose the Ouray Inn! It was within walking distance to everything, yet very quiet. Our room was clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast each morning and happy hour in the late afternoon were wonderful. Our hosts could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Highly recommend!!
