We are so impressed with Ouray Dog Company! It's a really nice facility for dogs and it's clear that Ted and Trina are genuinely caring, detail oriented, and passionate about what they do. Our dogs loved their first stay and we had such peace of mind while we were traveling.

There are no words to express how great these people and this place is. Had them watch our dog while we were out exploring during our stay in Ouray. Kind, caring, just wonderful. Have thought about planning another trip back just so our pup could stay with them. Amazing experience.

Trina and Ted have created the gold standard for doggy daycare. Our one-year-old mini-golden cockapoo fell in love with them and their facility from moment one. We even left Doublin there overnight so we could trek to Silverton and ride the train. We wish we could give them 6 stars! We'll be back!!!!Kathleen, Pete and Summer

Best customer and dog experience ever!After driving 10 hours, I finally arrived at my friend’s house only to be told that my friend’s wife is allergic to dander. My bad; should've asked. They pointed me to Ouray Dog Company, as rumor has it that they're the best in town. When I got there, the lady at the front desk was super nice and helpful. She reviewed their services and we went with a 5 day boarding option, with a bath before pickup.I showed up the next day and asked if I could see my dogs, and they were cool with it. I asked if I could take my dogs to a dog park, and they said go for it and even gave me good directions. My dogs were super happy and everything seemed great. Quick side note: I’m an Army veteran and I noted his Navy memorabilia (gross!). I had a nice conversation with the guy when we got back. Even though he’s Navy, we still had a good conversation, and I won’t gig him for not being Army.With the exception of Sunday, I was able to get a quick visit with my dogs for the rest of my visit. When I picked up my dogs, they were nice and clean and then it was time to drive 10 hours back home. I asked if they’d do the driving, and they said “No”, but all of their other services were great! 10 out of 10, would use them again!

Trina and Ted really care about your dog while here! I had told them my dog had 2 days of hiking and was ready to relax with them. Not only did they listen and let my dog have her me time, but they noticed her paws were sore on the rocks. Ted gave me pointers for how to better protect my dogs paws on rocky terrain and chip seal (which she isn’t used to). Would definitely come back here!!

Ted and Trina are the ONLY people I will trust my dogs with in ouray. Not only do my dogs get their own private sweet, but they also have built an enclosed yard to give my dogs play time multiple times a day. They are loved and cared for. I am updated on their well being and my dogs are excited to go there. They play ball and take pictures of my babies. They love animals and they care about the animals in their care. I couldn’t be more pleased with the treatment and love my dogs receive. I do not worry at all when I leave. Ted and Trina are the only option when entrusting my babies happiness and safety. If I could give 100 stars I would. He has hand built a yard for the dogs. He plays with them and gives them exercise. Probably more than I can even provide. They ensure my older dog gets her medications and they keep an eye out for any changes in behavior. Ted and Trina truly care.

I always do my research when is comes to kenneling my JRT’s. The reviews were spot on. The folks who run the place couldn’t be any nicer. I’m sure my girls were well taken care of while we explored Ouray. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring them back.

We are first time owner and board the four months puppy for a few nights during our trip there, he was happy to see us after, but also try to go back in the building, I guess that was a sign he loved that place 😂 both owners are very helpful as well, provided some guidance as a first time owner and also many recommendations about the place we could visit. We will be back to board our Merlot again if we visit there.

I’d give this place 10 stars if I could!!! We booked our 10 month old puppy and leash reactive boxer and they were so amazing with both of them. I’m in veterinary medicine, and these lovely owners truly understand dogs. The facilities are sparkling clean an super cute. Thank you so so much from Skadi and Odin!!!

Our dog Casper had such a great time at the Ouray Dog Company and came back tuckered out and smiling! The owners are incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating and run a fantastic business. We knew our pup would be safe and happy with them! Highly recommend!

Ruff ruff (that is dog 🐕 speak for take me to Ouray Dog Company)! We are very particular where we take our dog for boarding. Trina and Ted at the Ouray Dog Company have always been tremendous with our dog. He whimpers with excitement when we pull up...every time we go.Private stalls for your dog, air conditioning, play time in their fenced in yard, etc.In the summer, I would recommend trying to make reservations.

We went to Ouray last weekend and needed a safe place for our Corgi to be watched for the day. We came to Ouray Dog Company and the owners Trina and Ted were so sweet and welcoming. Ted right away brought our dog to the the dog run to play some ball and Trina showed us his room he would be napping in and also had food recommendations for the Ouray. Clean facility, good pricing, and really friendly owners.

Had a great experience leaving our pup here for the Telluride Film Festival. Trina and Ted were super nice and we’re flexible to our last minute switching of plans. Would highly recommend and will be using them again next time we visit!

Ouray Dog Company is a great place. They took good care of my girl and listen well to my concerns taking care of my senior dog. Reserving a spot was easy and as an out of town visitor they were very welcoming and friendly. From the first phone call to picking my girl up it was a pleasure to work with them and I did not worry about my girl all day. When I go back to Ouray I will definitely be stopping by again.

Great place to board your furry friends! I was in town for a wedding and being able to take my dogs in and out of the kennel was wonderful. We went on a hike before the wedding and I knew they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there with them. The owners are very nice and accommodating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Ouray Dog Company!

Stopped by on our way down the riverwalk trail on a recent visit to Ouray. We wanted to grab some treats for our pup. They were all super friendly and loved on our pup, and we found a good selection of treats to choose from. Their retail area is small, but they fit a nice collection of high quality items and we found just what we needed!

I get my three (very hairy) Border Collies (who love to roll in dead stuff) groomed here regularly. Robin is amazing; especially with the one who hates being touched. Prices are more than reasonable & owners Trina and Ted are friendly and accommodating. I've never had the need to board my pups, but if I did, I wouldn't hesitate bringing them here for a second.

What a gem this place is! The owners were so accommodating, kind and caring. Our dog Luna is friendly but super scared of new places and people and our first attempt at bording her months ago elsewhere was not successful but she did great here! As soon as we dropped her off they immediately took her out to play ball to ease the transition. They even managed to get a happy picture of her! Highly recommend!

What a wonderful transformation on our two dogs. Lucy a black lab was so happy going in. Bear our Keeshond was a rescue and we had a hard time finding someone to groom him. When I picked him up I was shocked how beautiful he was. The price was shocking we were so pleased I can't say enough good things about the experience we will be back regularly. Thank you Robin.

Super experience. The Pulligs are obviously doglovers, and love what they do. Beautiful environment. Our Buddy spent a long day there. Spacious and very clean "suite" - had we not already arranged for a condo, we would have tried to book one for ourselves! Buddy is ordinarily quite skittish with strangers, but took to these folks quickly. He even got a bath. Warm environment, modest prices - we'll be back.

My wife and I were on an off-road trip and after a week our dog had gotten a bit ripe after several dips in streams and running around after squirrels. The staff at Ouray Dog Company got our dog in the same day for a bath even though their groomers were not there that day. Really appreciate their ability to cater to travelers.

You know dog people when you meet them and Ted and Trina are dog people. They were flexible, kind and super sweet with our whippet Artemis. It’s nice to have this type of business in town so you can do you non-dog friendly activities without worry. Thanks so much!
