This is the best Petco in all of Colorado!I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door by the cashier Donna Valentine who was so nice and welcoming, I was helped by the assistant manager of the store Kat Mountain, she was so knowledgeable about every single product I inquired about, she even helped me pick out a cat pole suitable to fit my large cat she explained so much to me about thongs I need to know about my cats food and about everything thing I bought for him. Both Kat and Jarrod Vandenberg helped me carry all my items up front and even put my products in my car for me. Dylan the cashier is a Rockstar he gave me advice on my cat and the items I bought This team is outstanding, I'm now a forever customer š thank u Northglenn Petco š

Full story incoming... Purchased 4 tetra fish last weekend at the Petco in Northglenn. I already have an established tank with thriving fish (they came from PetSmart). I did a full acclamation with them before putting them in the tank - temperature float, water exchange, etc. They were happy that night. Next morning, one dead fish and I thought okay it happens. By the end of the day a 2nd.After reviewing their return policy online, I went in to see about a return. They refused, saying the dead fish needed to be brought in. I only had multiple photos as online said that would be enough. The manager told me that my photos could have been taken months ago and said every store has its own policy. She also tacked on that if she did give me a refund this time, she was going to make a note on my account to ban me from buying live acquatic at her store. Why would you tell a customer that??? I was a bit frustrated but simply left.This review comes now because I have another 2 dead fish. YES, ALL FOUR FISH ARE DEAD AND IT HAS ONLY BEEN 5 DAYS SINCE MY PURCHASE. $10 down the drain and the worst part is that they don't uphold their head to tail customer satisfaction guarantee. They will do nothing. Their fish are clearly unhealthy and the customer service at this location is appalling.1st photo is dead fish today and 2nd photo is from earlier this week.

We bring our dog here to be groomed by Sarah. I hate having to be without my little guy for a couple of hours, but I trust that heās in good hands when heās here. Heās always excited to come back to see his friends at the groomers & leaves with his nails perfectly clipped, teeth sparkling white, & smelling so amazing. Thank you Sarah!!! š§”

Went in to get some aquarium supplies and wanted to get a few more fish as well. My daughter and I waited around near the fish tanks for a while before walking around the store to try to find an associate to help us. There was no one in sight other than the one cashier they had working. We went through the checkout line and were told they would page someone to help get us some fish. We waited over 30 minutes and no one ever came. There was a huge line that the cashier was struggling to get through on her own and we ended up leaving without any new aquatic friends. When we got home and I opened the "new" aquarium light, it was clear this was an item someone had used and then returned as it was encrusted with mineral deposits. Absolutely never shopping here again, I am disgusted.

I enjoy seeing all of the animals they have here. They also have a variety of foods, toys and some clothing to choose from for ur pet. The clerks r friendly and helpful which makes ur shopping experience very easy.

I truly feel so sad for the animals here at this Petco location, even the fish. This is my second time at this location and every enclosure is filthy with either mold in the fish tanks or feces in the hamsters and ferrets cage.The items in this store are in complete disarray, it's honestly just a horrible location and I am shocked that this store has not been fined and shut down.

Had a grooming appointment here today, drove 25 miles to get there only to be told they couldnāt groom my dog because he has Lymphomaā¦without presenting a vetās note stating that itās okay. I donāt have a problem with that, but please tell me that beforehand, so Iām prepared. And donāt tell me itās corporate policy over and over. Thatās not the problem!!!

We used the grooming here since we have had decent experience at other Petcos. This time we dropped our well behaved 6 year old golden retriever off and it took them 6 hours. Groomer, Reina, informed us the reason it took so long was because our dog was "sooo old and feeble" that he couldn't handle a full groom. He was shaking so they needed to give him rest. However, upon picking up my dog they were yelling at him for being excited to see his owners. My golden is fairly well fit for 6 years. He can run up to 6 miles and hike 14ers without issues. I think he was only shaking because he was scared, not because he couldn't handle the groom. I brought this up and they immediately changed their story to, "Oh, well he must've been manipulating us". They attempted to inform us that next time we shouldn't book such a thorough session. Next time we just won't be booking here. His beautiful tail feathers are gone, his underside is cut uneven when asked for a basic undercarriage shave to stay cool, and his paws look like Edward Scissorhands took a clipper to them. Not a a good experience.

The groomer working today was the best groomer I have ever had. She was young with a couple piercings.Absolutely fantastic. my dogās nails looked great, and more importantly, my dog didnāt seem super anxious afterwards.I can really tell she did a good job, and took care of my baby.

I have rarely felt as dumb as I did trying to buy a fish here. The worker very condescendingly explained some stuff to us new-to-fish people, we were eager to learn, but a kinder delivery would've been appreciated!

We had to get our dogs vaccinations updated. I went to another place prior to this and a single dog with vaccinations and an unnecessary blood draw and an unnecessary doctor appointment all came out to $400!!!All we needed was the vaccinations for crying out loud!Here at Petco they took care of our next two dogs and it cost half as much for 2 dogs! Awesomeness!The process was quick and very professional.Save your money and take them here and still get superb quality care!

Just purchased 4 fish and 3 of the 4 died in 2 days. I'm a very experienced fish owner my entire life. The manager at the store refused to refund my money even though I abided by their Petco policy and provided pictures of the dead fish. They told me I need to bring the dead fish in and the third one just died so I will be bringing a dead fish to the store. Terrible customer service. Terrible company to not even abide by their own stated policies. Just terrible.

Service was very good and the store had everything I needed except a cart. The store only has one cart and it was in use, so an employee and I had to carry three bags of pet food (one weighing 50 lbs) to check out.

Drove a help hour to the store to buy something I called a head of time to make sure they a cat box I gave the name if it and the price I was told they did and would hold it for me when I got there it wasn't even close to what I needed and the price was twice as high what a joke on a messed up knee and the drive to top it off they don't even know what a cat box is picture 1 is what I wanted picture 2 is what they had there waiting won't go back for sure
