I visit both the Niwot Vet Clinic, and their other location Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital in Broomfield. The compassion and genuine care that has always been shown to both my pups and me, is immeasurable. Doc Patrick (the owner), literally saved my girl’s life when she was affected with a rare’ish skin cancer at 2 yrs old (she is now six). Their level of communication and follow up for any treatment always makes me feel like I can ask questions, and get answers.My most recent visit was for my boy (8 yrs old), who had an ear infection. He getsanxious, and both the sweet vet at Niwot, and her assistant, sat on the floor with him, gave him belly rubs, and did all they could to comfort him, so they could examine his ears.If you want a veterinary practice that genuinely cares about your pet, and treats you with respect and kindness as your pet’s human, then I highly recommend Niwot Vet Clinic and Rock Creek Veterinary Hospital ❤️🐾

Very kind, caring, patient and knowledgeable staff and vets. They got my pup (B) in for a busted toenail straight away.Gave me cost-efficient, effective advice that turned out to be spot on.And they were all very cheery, quick, and upbeat the whole while. Super happy with this office.

I chose this clinic from Trupanions provider search tool. They now are equipped and trained on all the ins and outs. Owner of clinic went out of his way to help us, really loved the vets at the clinic - great overall experience!

My favorite vet I’ve been to and I’ve been to a lot of vets. Dr. Kellermeyer is literally the best. I feel like the whole staff talk to me so straight forward and practical and really care about my dogs and not just making money (which I’ve experienced at other vets). They only prescribe or do test if I need them. The entire team is awesome and I feel like I could be friends with them and not just like I’m dealing with a doctor. They take care of my babies (and my babies are difficult). I never write reviews but I love them and you should go too!

On a Saturday morning, our very active Aussie pup broke a nail that needed professional attention and our regular vet was unavailable until Monday. I tried calling many other local vets to get squeezed in for help and none were willing to help a “new patient” despite this being a 10 minute service for a super active breed to prevent a worse problem. When I called Niwot Vet Clinic, Mary was immediately incredibly helpful and accommodating. Dr Patrick took great care of our puppy right away and we now have a new vet for all of our dogs. To sum it up, some vets and their staff (like those at Niwot VC) truly care about animals and some see each interaction as dollar signs and are only interested in how to rack up the most.

My pet and I had a great experience at Niwot Vet. We both felt very comfortable and confident in Dr. Kalenzi’s expertise and compassionate care. The airport staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the drive from Boulder!

Amazing service. Knowledgable, trust-worthy, and super friendly. You can tell the staff love their jobs and each animal you bring to them. They don't use fear to upsell or make you spend $$. I have never been to such a hospitable clinic. My personal vet is Dr. Kellermeyer and she ROCKS. But each staff so far have been off the charts. go here, keep it simple.

My cat was presenting some unexplained vomiting and the clinic had me bring him in first thing, without an appointment, even though they were booked up and very busy for the day. They were incredibly kind, helpful, and thorough in their check up, and explained everything to me. After sending us home with some medicine and some food to help with his digestion, they called to check in on how he was doing the next day. Above and beyond care.

We had our 6 month old puppy spayed with Dr. Kalenzi, and Bailey did great. They were so kind to her and answered all of our questions. They are reasonably priced and since we had her in for a sickness very recently they used those blood tests so we did not have to pay again. Thank you to Dr. Reynolds and the front staff as they are great with animals. I would highly recommend this Vet!

Vets are all great, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Started bringing my older dog here when he was sick, and Dr. Kalenzi gave me the information I needed in a concise manner, so I could make an informed decision on whether to do surgery or not. Two years later, after surgery, and our dog is still doing great!

I took my four month puppy here. They barley examined my dog. I voiced my concerns about some issues and sent in a fecal sample. Turns out my puppy has parasites. But didnt care enough to call me back with my results, and told me oh well the vet might get back to you today or tomorrow. They could care less about your animals and only want your money. You can go to a lot better of places who actually care for your dog and charge a lot less. Don’t waste your money or time here.Edit : Rachel reached out to me after seeing my review. All though still upset with the situation. She attempted to make things right with the situation. She cared and heard me out for the things I had to say. I appreciate Rachel reaching out to me to make things rights.

We visited Dr. Kalenzi as we were in the process of fostering with Big Bones and, subsequently, becoming a foster fail. The whole staff was incredibly patient and empathetic with Alvin (now Bennett) who was crouched in fear for the entire visit. He patiently talked me through my questions, and one of his techs even managed to form a brief but notable bond with Alvin --not easy to do. We'll be back!

As a cat fosterer for a local rescue organization, I *love* Niwot Vet Clinic. They are really well organized and efficient but also very kind and gentle with the rescue animals. I've taken four cats to them so far, and every experience has been great; if your animal has surgery, they even call the next day to see how everything is going. Nothing but good things to say about this excellent small vet practice!

I found this place on groupon. I wanted to like it since the scheduling was so easy. However, they did not inform me prior to arrival that they were doing what they call "curbside visits". They expect you to wait outside while they take your pet to the back. This would not be an issue if THEY OFFERED A PLACE TO SIT OUTSIDE. Instead, I was expected to sit on the cold concrete. When I expressed my displeasure for this situation to the vet tech, she said as elitist as she could, "Everyone sits in their cars" And what about us that share one vehicle? or the pet owners that don't have a vehicle? The very least she could have done was offered a chair, instead, right after she handed me my card back after I paid, she decided to call me rude for asking why they don't have a bench. I will not be returning for my cat's expensive dental procedure. She is the reason why you have lost a potential customer.EDIT:As I stated, It's not a problem at all that you have to do curbside. The problem is that you did not inform me prior to arrival that this was a curbside visit. Nor did your techs off an alternative to sitting out in the cold when I informed them that I did not have a vehicle to wait it. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the situation as soon as I let me cat go to the back, I had a pleasant exchange with your vet and it was not until after I paid and was going on my way that your tech went out of her way to call me rude for expressing my dissatisfaction at the beginning. You are blamed when you cannot accept the fact that not everyone is going to show up in a car, especially when you do not give your clients any warning to show up in a car. Maybe not allow the techs to talk to potential clients like that? Defiantly have a chair available for the ones who show up without a vehicle not knowing that they would be expected to wait outside. Like I said, You have lost me as a client. Your vet tech treated me like dirt and then called me rude after everything was fine. Your explanation does not state what you will change or if you will even inform future appointments about the vehicle curbside appointment.

The folks at Niwot Veterinary are gold standard care. I am a certified vet tech so the search for a new practice for my 6 fur kiddos had a list of requirements on a medical side. I am used to being the one leading the charge in my pets care and having all the diagnostics in my hand and making the calls so it’s hard to find a veterinary practice that respects that and will work hand in hand with me. Niwot veterinary clinic has made my dreams come true in finding a practice that treats me like a vet med colleague. I’m not a conservative approach owner and believe whole heartedly in an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure and unlike some places they’ve made the most out of each appointment rather than spanning out diagnostics.I highly recommend Niwot veterinary clinic, as a vet tech they have an upstanding recommendation in the veterinary community and I am so excited to be able to work with them as my pets veterinary providers!

We have been visiting Dr Courtley for 20+ years. He has worked with us through many good and a few sad memories (as is the case with pets). He always treated us and our animals with respect, understanding and kindness.Since changing ownership we have had a number of challengs with the “new staff” and have been challenged on medication our cat has been taking for over 2 years. Today they would no longer renew the medication and we’re unwilling to listen to our side of the situation. At that point we respectfully asked for our records and have already moved on. It’s a sad sad day.

18 year old Romeow has always received vaccinations at home. When an ugly abscess ballooned over the weekend, I considered mobile vet. Instead, we tried Niwot Vet Clinic. Vet tech was superb. Dr. Cummings was outstanding. Got same day appt. No waiting. No lengthy paperwork. No unnecessary or invasive tests. No suggestion of extensive other tests (he's 18 already!) Reasonable cost. Best of all.....Romeow was not stressed, combative or nervous. BIG WIN!!! Highly recommend.Update! German Shepherd with itchy muzzle. Fantastic visit with Dr Reynolds. Wonderful vet tech. Reasonable tests and meds. GSD not at all stressed at clinic. Itch better after meds. Another win!
