I don't usually give out reviews unless something really blows me away. I haven't spent that much time in the boroughs but I can imagine this place would happily exist in Bushwick or another New York neighborhood. Next time might end up driving up from Boulder for breakfast. If you're in the area and want a bagel, can't really get better than this.

This place is a hidden gem! Staying at Black Hawk we stumbled upon this shop looking for some vegan-friendly breakfast in the area, and Decent Bagel did not disappoint. I got the everything bagel with vegan cream cheese and drip coffee with oat milk, the bagel and vegan cream cheese were good, the coffee was fresh, and the staff was amazing! My partner got an everything bagel egg cheese and bacon sandwich that looked amazing and he was very happy. Their homemade lemonade was a hit too. This place is a must if youre in the area!

More than decent! I was happy to find this place open on New Year’s Day. Customer service was excellent. I had the BEC on a salt bagel; everything was fresh + tasted delicious. I’ll definitely be back here the next time I’m passing through Nederland.

Excellent spot for a bagel sandwich. The bagels were NY quality, the toppings were amazing. They are doing it right! The cookies and pastries looked so good! Staff was kind to us. I will happily be coming back more often!

Hands down the best bagel experience I have ever had! I tried the everything bagel sandwich with over-medium eggs and their homemade sausage and it was delicious!! Toasty and chewy on the outside but soft and so flavorful on the inside. This place is a gem of Ned and definitely a must if you're in town. Thank you to all the staff for amazing food and super friendly service!! I hope you get the locks bagels back on the menu soon but we will definitely be back!

decent bagel is MORE THAN DECENT. my partner and i only go here when we camp nearby, and sometimes we need to go once before we camp and once after we camp, it’s THAT GOOD. also, i’m a vegan and they have this amazing vegan cream cheese, best vegan cream cheese i have ever tried. you will never see store-bought bagels in the same way after this place. if we lived closer, we would buy a dozen of their everything bagels once per week.

Traveling through Colorado and my social media is always jamming about new spots. Have beenfollowing this for the last year and it was better than any bagel / burger spot I've had outside NY. That's comparing to Essa / H&H / Sables / Pick a Bagel.It's about the everything bagel for me. Most spots just give a little seeds. This was like the quintessential perfect everything bagel. Had all of the seeds and clustered without gaps which is the absolute hardest to do. Bravo!Highly recommend the place and I don't leave many reviews. Didn't have the soft serve but a lot of people raved about it.

I didn't get a chance to try their bagels, but the shortbread cookies with dark chocolate are the best cookies I've ever had. Not exaggerating. Simultaneously sad and grateful I don't live nearby so I can't buy them more often haha

Decent for sure :) Really good bagel sandwiches, a variety of canned drinks, drip coffee and an open welcoming atmosphere. The staff is very nice. A little high on the pricing but definitely filling for your money.

Yummy bagel sandwiches and amazing hot chocolate. Definitely a "fancy" bagel spot - an egg/meat sandwich is $12, the sausage on my SEG was very lean, and they don't do American cheese which I am always embarrassed to ask for but prefer! Love that they ask if you want a soft or hard egg.The staff were so nice, and we got some everything bagels to go fresh out of the oven. Sadly they waayyy overdid it on the everything bagel seasoning (which I didn't think was possible) - when my husband and I toasted them up this morning the salt level was insane, bordering inedible, and I'm a big salt eater. (We might have gotten an odd batch, as that wasn't an issue on the sandwich).

Really tasty bagels in Ned! Chewy outside with soft inside. We got everything bagels w/veggie cc and a poppy bagel with maple walnut cc, all to-go.They have daily specials and breakfast sandwiches so too. Nice minimalist decor inside with seating.

I don't think anyone between Boulder and Golden is making better bagels rn. Everythings are just perfect, heavily coated on both sides. Tried cinnamon, Parmesan and red pepper as well. Very yeasty.Ate the Full Send breakfast bagel sandwich once and it was very good. Several data points on just bagels and they're consistently better than 'decent'

Wow. Went there Saturday for early dinner. Had everything on the menu plus the cheese board. The strawberry drink, sangria, a cider and rose. All the food was great. Pan con tomate, tortilla, patatas brava, asparagus with egg, kale Caesar, spring salad, cheese fritters. Awesome place in a cool town. Can’t wait to go back. .

Delicious breakfast sandwich. Really well made bagels--I was very impressed with the quality of the food. Great little spot to grab a breakfast sandwich and cup of coffee.Not surprisingly it was a super friendly staff.

My theory is that they named it "A Decent Bagel" because some people only want to live or visit where they "can get a decent bagel." A Decent Bagel in Nederland certainly lives up to the name.

when we first moved to this tiny mountain town years ago, we had prepared ourselves to lose a few amenities. among those amenities were a good bagel. we even had a conversation about picking one weekend each month to drive down to boulder for our morning rations.but then decent opened.we’re both from New York (Bronx and long island) and hold a high standard for our bagels. needless to say decent is an understatement. thank you for filling this bagel-sized hole in our hearts and keeping our bellies happy and full!!

I’m a little surprised that this is being sold as a bagel. The texture was wrong. It had no salt or flavor…Update: I appreciate the response from the owner, but please, have a look at the photos that show the outside of the “bagel.” There was something wrong with the product being a “bagel” to begin with. It was supposed to be a plain bagel, but it’s a deformed, caky, with incorrect texture, no salt/flavor inside the dough, like they forgot to add the proper ingredients, or proper ratios, it didn’t rise properly and it looks like they forgot to bake it. Perhaps quality control was an issue that day. I would suggest looking into it.

We LOVE Decent bagel! So happy to have a great place to hang out and get a great traditional bagel when visiting Nederland! Quality of their food is outstanding and you’d think you were transported into a New York style deli! Decent is always on the must do list when in town!
