The Valley Roots Food Hub is a convenient option for buying local foods all-year-round. The staff are a fun group of people who care deeply about investing in a resilient local food system that helps the economy and the environment. I came to work at the Food Hub after graduating from college because I was inspired by their forward-thinking, action-based approach to food. Regenerative soil practices and organic farming are highly valued, and the Hub is a marketplace for local ranchers & farmers to reach more buyers. I highly recommend placing an order from the Food Hub, even if you have never done online grocery shopping before...in doing so, you can feel good knowing you are supporting local farmers and investing in the local economy.
