I had a great time here! I was a little concerned going in, and was worried it would be sad and gross. I was pleasantly surprised. For as many animals as there are, they all seemed to be very well cared for and clean and fed. The enclosures were good and the walkways were clear. The staff was decent, and answered questions we had. We didn’t have a tour or anything, just walked the grounds ourselves and saw the animals. Good experience for me!

Fantastic experience! We got greeted by the cutest cats and friendly workers who gave us a bucket of gator food to feed all the alligators in the park. They had rescue emus, turtles, and even some sharks! The best part was holding a baby alligator 🐊 Special shout out to the helpful worker who saved my bracelet from a gator filled pond! ❤️ You can tell the staff really enjoy what they do!

Amazing experience to go here with my friends. Perfect place to spend time if you’re in the Alamosa area looking for something to do.Within an hour we had seen gators and held a very small one, saw emus, ducks, fish, turtles. All the staff here are super nice, and I got one of my favorite hoodies in the gift store.

We love Colorado Gators! We go once a year. All the animals are amazing to see. There are turtles, tortoises, gators, crocs, fish, ducks, geese, emus, an old west fig tree, and a bunch of other plants too. There's the famous gator from Happy Gilmore (and other movies), and there are a couple albino crocs. You can get a chum bucket to toss food to the gators!

It was an interesting experience. Personally I’m not a fan of crocs but it was worth checking it out while in the area.It would help if the signage was better, maybe even somewhat interactive. We did get to hold a young alligator, kids got a “certificate” hole punched by its teeth 🙈PS also we have never seen such giant mallards, they were the size of Canada geese! (Hard to tell from the photo though)

My partner and I visited when it was just above freezing, the gators outside were a bit slow at first. Eventually about noon they started to move around and going for the food we threw. It was a bit confusing walking through and at first we were hesitant if we could walk through certain doors or not, but most areas were accessible to, just not inside the gated areas where the animals were. Overall, we will definitely come back and recommend a visit for anyone passing through with extra time.

What a great place to visit. I go every time I am close, the 25 dollars to get in is so worth it when you see the employees working hard to make sure the animals in their care are all good. They even give you a bucket of dog food to feed the beasts. And the tilapia are ready to eat too. They have small bins of fish food too. Thank you for the great day. Kee0 up the gooood work.

A Sanctuary, a working ranch. We have been there years ago and again now. They keep it running with the fees.I'm a bit worried about the animals and some visitors (especially kids can be very rude), but they do their best to guarantee those creatures a good life. They had a devastating fire in April and lost so many animals. It still breaks my heart to think of it.Maybe the fish tank could be improved? Looks quite uncomfortable.Anyway, the workers there do their very best and I really respect that. It's special, you can touch tortoises and an alligator. The nice guy told me they don't feel uncomfortable. It's clear: those animals are NOT pets!

This place is super cool! They unfortunately just had a tragic fire, so we didn't get to see any snakes, so we'll definitely come back for that when they finish renovations. It's a little expensive, but I was happy to pay the price to help them with their renovations. Everyone who works here is super friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely will return.

Come support a local rescue and farm! Bring the dogs and the kids. This is fun for the family. You get to hold an alligator, feed them chow, and see all kinds of other animals. It's a working tilapia farm so bring your pole and you can fish and feed the gators what you catch. Buy a hat or tshirt and wear it here and your admission is free.

Wonderful small park for alligators. This is a family managed gator park, has lot of snakes, turtles, fish and lots of gators. They have some celebrity gators as well. The entire facility is little messy and needs some upkeep and maintenance. Kids will love it

What a fun spot to look at all the gators. They have other animals as well… tortoises, emus, snacks, a shark and many other things. Easy going place that the kids loved. We stayed 30-40 minutes & was very entertained!

Absolutely loved our visit, everyone was so welcoming and genuine and it was a very special experience. So sad to hear of the fire a couple days after our visit. I can tell by the passion of the people we met during our visit that you will rebuild better than ever.

This place is so cool! You get very up close and personal with wild animals, hold a gator, feed some tortoises, stand inches away from some of the most advanced predators in the world. Staff are knowledgeable and apparently fearless. There are signs posted everywhere that are both educational and hilarious. I could spend hours here. I'm so glad I finally made the trip out and I'll definitely be back.

Cute gator park (not much else to do in this town)I got to carry and take a picture with a small gator. The park is a nice size with many different types of alligators and cocodrilos to look at, including some albino ones. I only saw one snake (Balboa) they also had fish, turtles, tortoises, pirañas, ducks, and some chickens. The entrance is $25 per personYou can take your dog as long as is in a leash or carrier.

I was here for my bday. The place was awesome! Never though I would see gators deep in the CO mountains. But they seem to be thriving :)Friendly staff and loved feeding the gators. It is also pretty cool to read their stories and species specs while moving from one enclosure to the next.I would definitely recommend this place to anyone exploring the area.
