Staff was so friendly & efficient. Sat on the patio & it was lovely atmosphere. Menu has so many delicious sounding options. I had the mango brie appetizer & my husband had the smothered tots. Both were absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back.Parking: The restaurant has its own parking, but can get full quickly during peak times. However, there are some other lots around & street parking for a fee.

This restaurant has the absolute nicest staff!! The food is delicious. The hash and eggs meal was great and was a very large portion! The cinnamon buns are also awesome. The chai tea is delicious! The egg breakfast was great. We love the atmosphere. There is a back patio & outside patio along with indoor dining. Ask for Preacher, he is a fantastic waiter, but all the other one gave us good attention as well!

4 of us arrived for breakfast on a Sunday morning on our way to Red Rocks Amphitheater and Park. We all had different items from the menu and were pleased with our choices. Omelette, 2 egg breakfast, Breakfast Mike was delicious and the Bellini was also very tasty. All deck out in cows inside and out. It was busy but we didn’t wait for a table and had wonderful service. Would definitely go back.Dietary restrictions: Offered GF, vegetarian, and vegan options.

The Cow surprised us as an unassuming little place, with good, diner-style meals. Three of us had a go at their Holy Cow Burger (x2 patties and bacon, with all the fixings, sandwiched between x2 mac n’ cheese grilled cheeses), and still couldn't finish it. The mac n’ cheese grilled cheeses were something else though and made the burger. Dec 2023

Loved the location and atmosphere! Very cute and cozy. Was very busyService was disappointing, lots of waiting to be told no take out from the outside window. Then waited more to get a table. Food came fast but spent a long time waiting for our check and box for leftovers. The food though! Really good diner food. Ordered the summit and club sandwiches. Really good bread and veggies. The summit had fresh jalapenos and a good kick. Sadly the avacado was forgotten on my club. amazing fries, not greasy at all. Amazing side salad.

Preacher, our waiter, set the absolute bar for outstanding service. This was by far the best service I have ever received before (maybe it’s because I’m from New York). The constant checking in, the story telling, the quick assistance, the warm environment, the food…I can go on and on. This is a must-visit place if you’re in the area. HUGE shoutout again to Preacher, what an amazing guy.

Every time we are in town this is our favorite stop. They never disappoint. The staff is so kind and gracious. We love sitting on the back patio which is very cozy. The cinnamon roll is probably one of the best I’ve ever had. I tried the Bloody Mary and it was definitely the best. I highly recommend

Parking is hard to find in the little lot next to the restaurant but we were sat right away and ordered a 1/2 lb burger to split and a cup of pork green chile each, which came with a big warm tortilla on the side. The burger was cooked just right and the chile had the perfect amount of salt and spice! I wish the fries had been a bit crispier but beyond that, very satisfied with our meal!

Quick and friendly service. It is a busy place. I ordered the bison burger. The French fries were very unique. They were a fun shape but they were all different sizes. So some were very undercooked. They would have been really good if they were fried a bit longer. I liked the menu and definitely want to return to try more. The Mac and cheese had just a little too much white pepper for my granddaughter. She couldn't eat it. She complained it was too spicy for her. (5 yrs old) I loved that it was homemade and prepared with my favorite, white cheese. I thought it was delish but I understand for children. I definitely want to return and soon.

Walking in this cozy little restaurant was an experience all of its own. The small town feel on the edge of the mountains and Just minutes from Red Rock amphitheater.. The food was amazing as well as the staff. I had the gyro burger and it was mouth watering and so flavorful. I wanted so badly to buy one of their hats with their name on it because I collect hats but they sadly were out of my size. If I am ever back in this region I will definitely be stopping back by . Thanks for a great meal .

While on a quick weekend trip to red rocks, I did not expect to eat at one of (now) my favorite breakfast spots. The ambiance of the old diner yet very quaint atmosphere was very warm and comforting. I had the Bear Creek Omelette and it was honestly hands down one of the best I had. I had it paired with the house made Coloracha hot sauce which was out of this world. This is a must need when passing through Morrison!!

Great little breakfast spot tucked behind a smaller mountain, next to a river and walking/bike path; it just makes for a relaxed morning with nice views sure to please. The food was delicious, plenty of drink options if needed, and the staff was super kind! Definitely a wait on the Sunday morning we decided to stop by, but there's plenty of cute shops and stores that you can walk through while you wait for your table. Definitely worth the stop to see some nature and get out of city as it's only 10 minutes from Golden and about 20-30 from Denver! Great experience and hope we can come back soon!Vegetarian options: Some veggie omlets and other options, staff very accommodating.Parking: Smaller lot out front that fills up on busier morning but plenty of street parking as well nearby.Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and options.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor entry, some smaller corners; can access outside seating from parking lot.

Great brunch had the French dip was delicious and their smothered burritos are always good. Love the bloody Mary’s as well. Drinks well made with good food, can’t go wrong. Love Morrison for the small town feel. This restaurant reflects that as well

I’m sure all the food is great here but I’m writing about the chocolate malts and hot fudge sundaes - yum! Stopped by 5 minutes before closing one weeknight and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. They didn’t comment on the tight timing as they were trying to close, but rather were friendly and prompt and made great quick desserts. The chocolate malt was one of the best I’ve had in a long time - they didn’t skimp on the malt like so many places so it really stayed true to the name. We’ll be back to try the rest of the menu!Review update: we came back to try the food and it was great! Do yourself a favor and get the fish and chips! Dare I say they’re the best in the front range?! They were everything you’d want in a fish and chips - came out super hot, the size of fish is what is should be, served ON TOP of the chips (which so many places miss!), and the chips were very good too! Will 100% be back for those again! We also tried the soup of the moment, which was pozole, and it was very good as well!Service was top notch as well - we were checked on and served by multiple people frequently and very friendly. Great team work!

YUM! Went here for lunch and breakfast - the locals didn't recommend anywhere else to eat breakfast. For lunch we had the kids Mac N Cheese, fresh cut fruit bowls, grilled cheese sandwiches for the kids (loved their food) and I had a reuben. Breakfast we had French toast, Mickey pancakes, fresh cut fruit bowl and a Spotted Cow (pictured). So so good. Hash browns topped with 2 sausage patties, 2 eggs your way and smothered with gravy and Colorado Green Chile. You can't go wrong with this dish! We will definitely return here next time we visit. Kid friendly, dog friendly, local fave spot. Friendly staff that will give you tips on visiting Red Rocks and more. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful find and experience, so much we came back the next day! Great food, outstanding fish & chips but even better service. Preacher is a fantastic person, and service provider and introduced us to the whole crew. He not only made us feel like family there, he provided many suggestions to make our trip to Red Rocks and Colorado enjoyable. Thanks Preacher from your friends in Maine (Mama and Papa Bear, and our son the snowboarder)!

My family loves this place. We started a tradition of doing birthday breakfast there after meeting the infamous Preacher. To say that the service is outstanding is an understatement. We are treated like family there. We took our daughter for her 4th birthday this morning and were treated so extremely well by Preacher, David and Josh (thank you guys for making my daughters birthday morning!!). The food is always so good and we will always come back to continue our Birthday tradition as well as have our fun Sunday Happy Hours there. Awesome atmosphere, exemplary service and awesome food. Love this place!

First off, poppin’ place! The server was sweet and definitely basically overworked. She came by a Greta amount, and our table of four was seated fairly quickly, but wow was there a lot of hub-bub from the crowd and smaller space.*Delicious* cheese curds. Highly recommend. Were we hungry after walking around? Yes. Does that make us biased? Yes. But SO yummy, warm, cheesy, and wonderful. The strawberry salad “bites” (pictured) were superb. The burrito? Not so much. It was just kind of mushy and uniformly blobby. A decent taste, but too blended and lumpy and homogenous. Sadness.Overall? Sure! Go for it! But not a must-try, per se. Solid option if you’re hungry and already happy to be in the area.

The Cow has been around for as long as I can remember. It's very solid in every way.The location is right in downtown Morrison, so you can walk along the river if you get carry out.The dine-in service is good. Usually very friendly and fast. All the menu options are tasty, not remarkable but quite good. They also have a takeout window so you can walk up, get a coffee and walk around town.Parking: During busy times of the year parking can be a little difficult but I have always found a spot eventually. The town of Morrison recently changed all of the street parking to pay to park during normal hours.
