I am only giving it one star because the store had what I needed. It was messy and disorganized. The employee never spoke when I walked right past her. She never spoke when she checked me out. She was speaking to another employee. When my receipt came up, I waited just a moment, and then asked, "is that my receipt." Her response: " yep. Sure is." Snatched out of the machine and handed to me. That's it.

The store was a mess. Hit my leg on a stocking cart hard trying to avoid a lady. The store was hard to manuver. I will never go back, but the lady at the checkout was nice. If not for her being nice, I would havegiven this store one star. I only saw one person working at checkout. I felt bad for her.

It’s appalling to me that they are requiring children to wear a mask at this location. You can go anywhere in town and no one has once stopped to say put a mask on that child. Yet you walk into this location and and a mask is mandatory. Service was already mediocre. The gal upfront was very rude and told me “There are kids younger than yours who wear masks.” That is their parents choice and it shouldn’t dictate whether or not you make other kids wear one. Also the county is not enforcing the mask mandate. You truly need to stop adding on to the list of reasons you lose business.

if I were to apply for a job with family dollar, I would be rejected because I do not speak Spanish. why then don't Spanish people have to speak English???my father had a VERY unpleasant experience in this store last evening. he has requested that I never shop for him or myself ever again in this store!

Hey, my husband went in with our grand daughter cause she wanted to buy a doll that she had seen. She couldn't find it and there was this lady working there and she went and helped them. She found the perfect doll that she wanted sooo bad. I would like to express my gratitude to her. Sorry I didn't get her name but she's the best cause she made our little girl very happy. THANK YOU!

Different selection of things, that's nice. But items on shelves are so unorganized and picked through it's a chore to find what you need or be able to clearly see what is to offer.

The cashier named kaitlyn at the Monte vista store was rude, rolling her eyes at me for asking to see the charges prior to making payment. She then refused to ring up my purchases. Never have had such bad service.

It needs a good cleaning. Also, if you don't open up your phone outside, you usually can't get good reception inside the store when you try to use your coupons.

A delivery man accidentally knocked over several 2 liters of drinks and it sprayed allover my pants. I asked to use the restroom and the lady very rudely said it was out of order.

Family Dollar in Monte vista is confusing due to the fact they have partitions up that block aisles. So you have to go the long way around in order to get where you want or need to be.

Extremely rude... I'm not sure what is going on here, 2 ladies that work here & behind the counter playing with their cell phones and chatting with each other while a trainee is working checking people out.20 min in line is unacceptable.

This store is one of the older smaller stores around. It's real compact and that makes it feel like its dirty.

The Monte Vista store is horrible I hate going in there it is disgusting!! The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They need extensive training on customer service.

Very small & crowded store. Had what I needed, but not too many choices of clothing for men. Came looking for swimming trunks, but they didn't have any. I did like the choices of candies at this store.
