Three stars means "it's okay" and that was our experience. Our double room with twin beds left a few things to be desired. Mattresses were not very comfortable. The bathroom heater was broken, though I was directed to a new space heater by the absent innkeeper (who was feeling under the weather). I had to assemble the thing with a pair of scissors I scrounged up. Some strobe-like light on our ceiling kept us awake. Breakfast was frozen quiche and the equivalent of Pillsbury oven items, plus granola, yogurt and fruit. Nothing to write home about. On the plus side, the common areas are very comfortable and inviting. There's a refrigerator for guest use. Snacks are provided. For the $300+ dollars per night I spent, would I stay here again? No.

My husband and I stayed in Minturn to attend a wedding in Vail. We can’t say enough wonderful things about the Minturn Inn. The breakfast was AMAZING and Bianca was very helpful throughout our whole stay. We were able to Uber and Lyft to Vail with limited wait time during the weekend. Minturn is very cute and cozy with some great food options. Our room was beautiful and the pillows put us right to sleep! Next time skip Vail and stay at the Minturn Inn! You won’t be left hungry or disappointed.

We booked this cute little bnb as an overnight stopover from Boulder to Aspen. It was rustic, perfectly clean, cozy, hospitable, with easy arrival. I easilY popped over to Avon/Vail/Beaver Creek for appointments, and we ate a fun dinner right in town, at Minturn County Club. Staying at the inn gives guests a locals’ discount (15% at Minturn County).Parking is easy, we loved the fireplace in our room, and the breakfast is fabulous. Today it was two kinds of quiche, lemon tarte, home baked croissants, cheese/salami, yogurt/berries, and espresso drinks. :chef’s kiss:We would love to come back, stay for a two weeks, and ski Breck, Vail, and Beaver Creek!

My wife and I stayed at the Minturn Inn one night, a king bed room.Rob is a very good innkeeper, friendly, and the breakfast is second to none.I thought the rooms were dark and worn. Blinds were closed for privacy, looked a little dusty, adding to the cave-like feel of the room. Our room was back a bit from the road, and the road quieted down a bit in the evening, but you could hear and feel whenever a large vehicle rumbled by. The guests in the room above us were night owls, and you could here every footfall until about 1 a.m..The Minturn Inn was fine for one night, but we were happy to be moving on in the morning.

This Inn is a true gem! My girlfriend and I stayed here in November 2022 for our anniversary and it was perfect. Marco was very hospitable and truly made us feel welcome! I can't wait for my next stay here. Also just as everyone says: the breakfast here is superb, the lemon pie I had here was the best I've ever had in my life and the espresso was excellent as well!

This is the best place to stay anywhere around the Vail area! From the second you check in you are treated like a special guest. We stayed in the Whistle Stop room and it was perfect for us. The entire property is well kept and feels like you are staying with Grandma! The breakfast is so good with plenty of options for everyone. Everything is home cooked, I had the best french toast our first morning. It's fun to meet other guests and have conversations over coffee in the morning. There were even guests playing games together in the evening by the fire. We will be back! Thanks again Trent and Annie for everything! You made our trip so special.

Stayed here with my boyfriend in February of 2022. Actually loved the stay, breakfast, accommodations and free whisky. However I can’t recommend due to my after checkout experience. My fault, but expected more. I had accidentally left a $1300 coat in the closet. When we got home from the final leg of our skip trip 48hours later, I realized I left my non-ski coat and called the owner panicked to let her know it was left behind. She ran over to the house, but it could not be found. In most B&B’s or even hotels, the customer would be notified if anything was found during turnover. So either the room wasn’t properly turned over and it was taken by the new room occupants, or it was taken by whoever turns the rooms over. So unfortunately need to say beware. The owner did not offer any reimbursement. So all it all, not worth the money I ultimately lost/spent at this stay.

Worst experience I’ve ever had, anywhere. The tv was out because of snow - the inn is located at 8000 ft in the mountains and this I’d December, of course there will be snow. The controls for the baseboard heaters were located in another room, and the fireplace did not work. This was suppose to be a romantic trip for my husbands birthday. It was everything but romantic! Do not book here in the winter!!

Minturn Inn is such a cute place! Jocelyn greeted us with sparkling wine, gave a tour of the property and then let us settle in. We were in the Whistle Stop room. We were only there for one night but it seemed like a nice place to hang out. Breakfast looked great-fresh juices and other goodies. Jocelyn offered containers to pack up to take with us but we had to hit the road. I would definitely recommend!

Wonderful little European style traditional inn! Best place to stay if you're wanting a small-town feel, a warm reception, great coffee, and a very nice breakfast. And this is the place to escape higher priced places in Vail or Beaver Creek. Only blocks from some great hiking and biking trails that run all the way to Vail. The one downside... Bring bottled water and do not drink the tap water. We filled out water bottles before a hike and it is gross and tastes like it is loaded with chemicals. We discovered this half way up a 3 hour hike and we're forced to skip hydration. Whatever they are starting with at the Minturn water treatment plant must be coming out of a mine shaft.

We stayed at the inn one night in August. This place has more of a bed and breakfast feel to it, without a live in host. Beautiful gardens and (bonus) Prosecco upon arrival! We absolutely loved our experience here. Jocelyn was instrumental in making us feel welcome and thanks to Mitch for the recommendation. Stocked fridge and lots snacks, etc. We will without a doubt stay here again

Absolutely adorable little B&B in the tiniest little town not far from Vail. Walk to anywhere in town. Friendly and quiet. Great leaf peeping around the area.Stayed just one night and had a romantic birthday celebration. The Columbine room was perfect for what we wanted; two person jacuzzi tub, fireplace in the room, rustic decor, king sized bed. The property is small and quaint and the other guests were relatively quiet; we never heard anyone while in our room. Despite a few common areas available for lounging.Only downside was that while we were sleeping our bed partially collapsed. No one was moving or tossing and turning and we thought it was odd since we had commented earlier about what a nice, sturdy frame it was. The support bar across the bottom of the bed near the head of the bed fell off and the middle bar twisted, removing the floor support and the mattress and box spring tilted drastically on a slant. We woke up startled and in shock, confused about what happened. It was after midnight and we didn’t know what to do so we put our pillows at the foot of the bed and tried to get some rest but we had a pretty awful nights sleep sliding down the bed. I told the manager the next morning and she was surprised and offered a small apology before stating she would have her husband look at it.Since it’s a B&B and the whole point is having a comfortable place to sleep I was quite disappointed I wasn’t offered any kind of courtesy or discount on my (over $200) stay but I didn’t flat out ask for one either so I guess that’s on me. Would’ve been better customer service though if at least offered some gesture, all things considered. We only stayed one night and that was the experience we got. It makes for a funny story at least. I would absolutely go back (different room/different bed?) and still would recommend to others, despite the risk of over exposing a “hidden gem.”

First of all it would have been a 5 star but our bathroom fan had issues and was really loud. Hopefully that’s been taken care of. The location is great and the bed was super comfortable. The one thing I have to rave about is breakfast! It’s not just your run of the mill doughnut spread, it’s croissants, homemade pastries, fresh oatmeal and a great manager who was very friendly. I would definitely come back for another stay.

We loved our stay at the Minturn Inn. We so enjoyed Denise and her hospitality. She made us feel right at home. Our room was beautiful and we loved having a jetted tub. The inn was quiet even with other guests around. We enjoyed the 2nd floor deck a lot and watched the humming birds jetting around the bird feeder. My husband is trying to figure out how we can get our own espresso machine as we found that to be such a nice touch. We had fun using the complimentary bikes which are provided for guests -- we cruised all over town. Breakfast was wonderful as well -- always some special new international treat at each one. We would definitely stay again!

Very lovely B&B. Came under new ownership/management 1 month ago. We happened to stay there during a weekend when the family owners were also there, and the family is fabulous. They are a very kind, hospitable, and gregarious group. I really felt like my comfort was important to them. The room and house were clean and cozy. The breakfast was tasty. ( I have very specific dietary needs and the owner was very accommodating, making a special run to the grocery store for me! ). And, the town of Minturn is very charming. I highly recommend staying here.

I selfishly want to keep this experience to myself but the owners deserve the praise. This little Inn is better than any stay I've had in Beaver or Vail. Super friendly staff, delicious food, cozy atmosphere. My wife and I loved our stay here.

The only hesitation I have in giving this place 5 stars is that everyone is going to find out what an exquisite gem this boutique BNB is and I’ll never be able to get another reservation!!! It’s amazing!!!My boyfriend and I had the best visit in Minturn thanks to the hospitality extended by Jocelyn here at Minturn Inn. It was a cozy home away from home for both of us (and the furry side kicks) and we were treated as old friends from the moment we walked through the door. Breakfast was amazing. But the leisure of relaxed conversations over coffee was even better. The Inn felt like a gathering place for conversation and connection with enough peace and quiet and privacy to enjoy our escape. I hope we return enough to become “regulars” here. Location, comfort, hospitality and cozy touches put the Minturn Inn above and beyond.

Why was it excellent? Where to start? The owners have had this place just a few years, but you can see by all the 5/5 reviews in the last year that Jocelyn, the manager, has it all perfectly dialed in. Ignore those reviews from unhappy people. If you can’t be happy here, you can’t be happy anywhere. Not only is Jocelyn a delight, but the rooms are wonderful and the food is all hand made and nothing short of gourmet. The breakfast spread was 5 star, with the flakiest quiche and pastries, local and imported jams, Americano coffee, homemade granola, etc. I swear we ate four breakfasts. Many of the guests here have made this a regular place, and it is no wonder. My wife and I started planning our next trip just after arriving. So many quiet porches and decks to rock and take stock of life’s busyness and the need for margin. Thanks, Jocelyn, we found that margin here on my birthday. We will be back!

Everything about this charming Inn was great! All the small yet personal touches are what makes this a perfect getaway! The breakfast is delicious and of high quality foods. Jocelyn does a magnificent job at presentation and it taste just as good as it looks. The Italian pastries are something you can't pass on. We really can't say enough about Jocelyn and her impeccable service and knowledge of the area.A speci hello to Rugger ...he stole my heart!
