I love this place! Though the store itself may be small, they always have a great selection of records! Last time I went, I was given two free Batman Day comics along with my purchase! Definitely visit this place if you're in the area!

when I say, this little mom and Pop shop is the place to be if you have any interest in music comics or movies, this is the place to be. the couple inside are the sweetest people and they will help you out no matter what your question is or who or how you collect your memorabilia.

This is a cozy hole in the wall mountain music shop. The shopkeep was super nice and helpful. There was definitely a huge selection of vinyl. They did have a selection of new & old comic books as well. Prices were as expected. Has a small collection of comic figures/collectibles as well. They are bursting from their seams - be prepared to dig and you might just find a gem (or two).

Just visited here with my daughter. Good selection of comics, vinyl, and CDs. Key issues, back issues, current issues and an overall pleasant atmosphere. Picked up some nice covers of Spectacular Spider-man. The owners were super nice and engaging. I am always searching for new comic and collectible shops to visit. A pleasant experience!

Weather changed our plans so we ended up in this little store. We were welcomed by a friendly lady who showed us around thru the stocks. Loads of boxes, all new records, lots of RSD items, well organized by date. The lady and her son are running the store and were very friendly and interested.

One of the most fantastic record stores in all of America. They have every genre, always priced correctly, and Tom the owner knows something about everything he sells. I come here once a year when on vacation and never leave disappointed and appreciate the time I get to spend here.

This is a gem. So much interesting stuff. Not the best prices on vinyl but not terrible. The selection is fantastic. Especially considering how small it is. Very eclectic and diverse. The comic book side was a little hard to navigate but all I had to do was ask and got exactly what I was looking for. From what he said,he has half a million comics in back stock. Got the full run of the new Dreaming series. Cover price for everything. Perfect condition as well. If I lived in the Vail area I'd be there all the time.My suggestion would be if you are looking for something specific, give the store a call. Let him know what you want. My guess is 90 percent of the time it will be there.I can't stress enough how great this place is. Wether you love comics, music or both you'll love it here.

What a great place. The owner, Tom (I think his name was Tom but I have a terrible memory) couldn't be more friendly and passionate about his craft. Called to see if he had a specific graphic novel series and ended up chatting with him for over and hour. He didn't have it in stock but he was able to order it and made sure I got the beautiful hard cover. If you live in the Eagle valley and are a music or comic nerd I cannot recommend this shop enough.

My partner & I stopped in recently and were blown away with the amazing selection available of RSD releases from years past, thick sections for each artist (not just 6 copies of the same “most recent” release like many bigger box retailers) & friendly conversation with the owner Tom & his wife. Tom has been in the business for the time it takes to get things JUST RIGHT when it comes to a record shopping experience. If you ever are passing through I-70 or visiting the nearby ski towns, this is a must visit!

The best place to buy vinyl that you will ever find.This store has an incredible selection of new records at normal prices. Three owner is a wealth of knowledge and very happy to help you. And lastly the owner has original promotional items from various bands and albums and goes to great lengths to remember what goes with what and is sure to include anything that should have come with your purchase (like pins or promotional singles etc).I love this shop.

Wonderful owners who are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about music and comics. They take great care of their customers and ensure you have all the answers and items you are looking for. It's a wonderful local store that actually cares about customers and makes sure that the latest comic issues are available and in collector quality. Their shop is located on main street in Minturn CO.

This is my favourite record store. TONS of records and always super friendly.This place has a "your best friend's basement" vibe, if your best friend is an audiophile. You feel welcome when you enter which is good because you're going to spend some time in here. Stacks and stack to comb through in a warm environment.

I came looking for guitar picks. Even though my total purchase came out to about a pack of gum, this beginner guitar player was given plenty of attention and education on what would be a good choice from the folks in the shop. While I’m not a vinyl guy, I did notice a ton of cool stuff in here and would say if you’re into music (vinyl or otherwise), this is a cool place to check out.

A gem in the mountain mining town of Minturn! The vinyl selection and limited run pressings rivals any shop I’ve been to as far as selection and variety. This is the kind of indie music shop worth supporting; it’s now a must stop anytime I’m in Vail Valley. Great customer service also. Only 5 minutes off I 70!

I walked into this little comic shop and I was definitely excited to see the number of comic books they had available. The guy who handles the comics there asked what I was looking for and I told him. At which point he went to the back to browse through his piles and piles of books to find what I had told him I was in search of. After locating some of the books I wanted/needed, he proceeded to pull up eBay for the current prices that the books were being sold for. Needless to say, my excitement quickly subsided. IF I WANTED TO SHOP ON EBAY, I'D DO IT FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME! The guy who handles the comics clearly doesn't realize the point of going into a LCS; which is to find those HTF/Rare/Unique hidden gems. Anybody can pay top dollar for those books, they simply need to do exactly what he did...go online! Now if the "Jonah Hill in 40 Year Old Virgin" moment wasn't bad enough, I decided to ask about some modern issues that I needed and would be willing to pay cover for. After looking through about 1 and a half stacks of books (maybe 100 or so comics), the guy says to me "oh, those are in storage".....for every book I bring up after. Storage being that back room and according to him, 500k books upstairs. I don't doubt he has that many up there, seeing as how he's asking top dollar for every book and it's apparently too much effort to go into the back room or upstairs to locate what the customer is asking for. I was prepared to look through his collection and spend an absurd amount of money when I walked in there, but in the end, I paid him $20 for about 5 cover price moderns. My guess is the 4.9 stars this place currently has must be based on the vinyl part of the store (which did look impressive), but as far as the comic book section goes, stay home, sit in your favorite recliner, kick your feet up, crack a beer, pull up eBay and shop to your hearts content. It sure as hell beats driving to Minturn, CO for what I experienced. You ever even heard of Minturn!? Yeah, me neither, and I'm from Colorado!

Still has copies of TWD 193. 1st and 2nd print. Really smart. DC guy but holds his own with Marvel or anything else you want to know about. If you want a true comic store experience, not the big huge places but like back in the day, make your way tp Eagle Valley Music and Comics. Blast from the Past!
