Great place to stop by as they offer a great selection of snacks, lunch options, great merchandise and all the great views from above! I recommend stopping by and enjoying some time to relax! The staff here are very helpful and friendly! There is a craft made soda that they sell here (my first time in Colorado) but I really enjoyed it as it’s worth picking it up if you’re looking for a refreshment!

We stopped for pizza after a hike in the park. The pizza was good, and the service was friendly. They even had local ciders and beers to enjoy with your lunch. The gift shop has a good selection and you can get a coffee drink at their coffee bar. They also offer breakfast and the made-to-order omelets are pretty tasty. We even saw a turkey!

Expectations people, Expectations! It's a gift shop. Not a gourmet restaurant.That said, I was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of the taco salad and Philly cheese steak to be had all the way in the middle of the desert.My and the fiance will come again with our 1 yr old soon!Nice bit of information and pictures here as well.

Hours of operation should be updated. They close at 5pm in Summer 2022. Gift-shop checkouts closed. We saw horses right by the main road at the entrance, so that was great.

This restaurant appears to be relatively simple. However on our visit, we were surprised by the outstanding quality of our meals. We chose the chicken mole and the beef ribs, both dishes were beautifully presented, perfectly cooked and spiced. We enjoyed dining on these delicious dishes after our day walking the mesa verde trails. Prices reasonnable too!

Wish there'd been a cafeteria option for a sandwich without the homemade chips. But the sandwich (chicken panini) was really good, and the view was amazing. It seemed a little overpriced, but that might have just been because I don't like homemade chips. Also, hours for food are weird.

This is the only place that serves breakfast and lunch. At 2PM they close. Lunch on both days was cold. I was looking forward to the Navajo taco, it was soggy and cold, flatbread was cold, only the portabello and spinach panini was warmer.

Good variety for breakfast and dinner. Average pricing. "Gingerbread" pancakes taste like normal pancakes just a heads up. Breakfast burritos have excellent amount of protein for hiking around later on, kept me full from 9 am til 4 pm.Cafe is awful. Coffee is no good (had 2 lattes) customer service terrible (waited 20 minutes at the counter for an employee to come around). Free water bottle refill station is nice (water is not cold though, you can ask for ice).

To be clear this was a mixed bag of an experience. My wife loved her strawberry and pistachio salad. But the addition of a chicken breast was a big mix- totally dried out and flavorless. I ordered the quarter mole chicken. It was one of the smallest leg and thigh portions I have ever seen. The taste was good but there was no more than five or six bites of meat on the chicken.On the upside the window view is quite lovely.

If you like black coffee, this is the place to go! Seriously. Mocha is black coffee. Cappuccino is black coffee. Chai is black coffee with ice. Only been here once though. For a coffee stop.. so unsure if it's like this all the time..

Got breakfast at the terrace café one morning (we were staying next door at the lodge). For the price we paid, not worth it. I'm talking > $50 for a breakfast burrito, hash brown, a couple waffles, a breakfast sandwich, and small fruit bowl for 2 adults & 2 kids. But I guess the kids enjoyed making their own waffles, so.... #TotallyWorthIt...???Gift shop had a nice selection of things. Got a park magnet and a few postcards as we typically do. Nothing especially gouge-y with their prices, compared to what we've seen in other parks we've visited in recent years.

The Philly cheese steak was horrible and a waste of $13. The meat was gray, dry and tasted old, like it had been in a freezer forever. No complaints for the cutie chef who worked the kitchen solo. The lady at the cash register was nice too. I would pass on eating here though.

I suppose we are partially to blame for not planning lunch after visiting the park. But this was easily the worst meal we had during our 10-day vacation, most of which was in the Colorado area. Basically, it's what you'd expect when a place is run by the numbers guy who opted for the lowest bidder to provide food services.Even the pizza - which is hard to mess up - tasted horrible. As though everything was made out of the cheapest canned food they could find. The chicken in the salad was hard as a rock. We barely ate our over-priced food and left.Nothing was particularly clean, it had a foul odor, and even the restrooms were neglected. One poor old guy had no TP in the stall.The only good thing was the view, but you could get that without stopping here. Which is a shame as there is a lot of potential given the location and views. They need to replace the management with folks who know how to run a proper restaurant. Get some good food service in here, hire a chef, do something.
