I stayed in 2 tiny houses while there for a wedding. One night was booked. The other night was last minute. They worked with us last minute to get us in a tiny house at a reasonable probe. The tiny houses are so cute and clean and have everything you need. They may not be quite big enough for 4 adults, but it worked. The guy who helped us was so great. The facilities are great. The scenery is great. I will stay there again!

Our family was in town for Memorial Day weekend. We rented three of the tiny homes and were pleasantly surprised by the common space in the center, with a large picnic table, cornhole, propane grills at each home, and the firepits on each end. Our only complaint was the pullout futon in our space, it was fairly worn out. Otherwise, the location was the perfect distance from Meeker, the views of the mountains fantastic, and the space was well thought out. Thanks!

Made reservations for June 17th-20, traveling from Arkansas. Arrived to NO water on the premises with no notification to bring water in camper. Had 5 people in our camper(with no water on board as had reserved full hookups) with no way to cook dinner, shower, etc. Didnt realize there was no water until we had already set up camp. Then had to pack up and find another campground. No response after multiple attempts in person, phone, and email. Was never anyone in the office even during "scheduled office hours". No communication of any kind about any compensation for our trouble or lack of using facilities, etc. I wouldn't expect it if I had arrived and just not liked the place, buy no water source at all was asking way to much without being informed in advance. Would NEVER recommend. Would rate lower if possible. If you want to stay where it's all about them making money, this is your place. If you want to stay somewhere pleasant where the host seems to care about providing good service, I can recommend a good spot down by the river.I stand corrected. I was reimbursed for our full amount. Thank you. I didn't receive a notice telling me I was being reimbursed, so I wasn't aware until I posted this review. I do appreciate the reimbursement and am glad that you have new management. Hopefully, this will correct the communication issues. I have changed my review to reflect this new information.

We rented a full hook up spot for our camper from a Thursday till a Sunday. We arrived late Thursday night. Went out on UTVs all day Friday. Came back and showered in the shower facilities and enjoyed the evening. Nice quiet area. Went back out on UTVs Saturday morning. There was no water when we left. When we stopped back around 2pm for a bathroom break, there was still no water (so no shower or toilet usage). We were told it would be back on in a couple hours. Two of us stayed back while the rest went out on trails again. Right before the office closed I went up and inquired as to the water situation (well past the 2 hour mark). I was told it should be back on within the next hour. By 9pm when the rest of the group returned (covered in mud as it had rained quite a bit) and there was still NO water! We couldn't use the bathrooms, showers or laundry facilities and we were direct hook up so we had no water in our camper either! There was 8 of us. No one on site to help. No emergency number to call. Tried to message them on Facebook but never received a response. And it was too late to try and pack up and go find somewhere else to spend the night. The next morning we woke up early to head home and we STILL had no water! We couldn't empty our black tanks as there was no water to rinse them. We had to drive over 16 hours home with our tanks full and covered in dried mud and dirt. They refunded us $20. Will definitely go back to the area to ride trails but will NOT be staying there again nor would I recommend them.

We rented one of the tiny homes and we wanted for nothing. The park is perfectly located for a little peace and quiet. Surrounded by the Flat Tops. A short drive to town provides spectacular views of the White River and the Flat Tops. The tiny homes are arranged in a circle with opportunities to socialize right in the center. Would be perfect for group of people traveling together. Lots of parking space if you are hauling ATV's or any equipment like that.Nearby activities: The park offers corn hole, giant Genga, 2 outdoor fire pits, sauna, hammock, communal dining area, a dog friendly area, laundry facilities.

I came to Meeker for the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials and stayed almost a full week at Trail & Hitch. I was at a campsite but was so pleased to still have access to electricity and an OUTSTANDING bath house! This was easily one of the best campgrounds I have stayed in across the state. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the view gorgeous. I would highly recommend this site, even if you don't have a fancy RV or stay in one of the cute tiny houses - you will still LOVE your time here!

I wish there were a few trees for shade. Otherwise, it is one of the nicest RV Parks I’ve stayed in, especially for a small town. The picnic table on a concrete slab is really nice. We go with another couple and park so we share the table. The fire pit was a bonus!Nearby activities: Lot of out door activities - hiking, fishing, historical places, OHV trails.Safety: A bit out of town so it’s quiet and out of the way. The few times we’ve stayed here it’s always a good group of people. I’ve never had a concern about safety.Noteworthy details: Super clean! Well laid out so it is easy to park any size of RV. Hook ups maintained. Lots of gravel so you don’t have to worry if it rains tracking in mud or sinking/ getting stuck.

Meeker is such a tiny town but this place made every bit of our stay worth it. First of all - the tiny houses are super clean and so cozy and stylish! Our house was very warm upon our arrival (it was 19 degrees outside so it was so lovely coming in to a warm home). The kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. The area around the location is absolutely beautiful and it’s very quiet all around. The lady who works there was very helpful giving us lovely tips on the wine and cheese store, as well as other fun things to do around the town. The place is also extremely pet friendly. My husband travels to Meeker a lot for work and we will definitely be staying will y’all again - it was his business trip but your tiny house made us feel like we were on a cute vacation!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!

I was in the tent area. I loved it. Super clean, quiet, solar lights on path to showers/ bathroom. The showers/ bathrooms were CLEAN. Loved this place. I never saw the owners bc I was up early and back late from dog trials.Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a safe, clean place to camp, RV or rent a tiny home. Wish I knew of the sauna, I missed that! Thanks for a great place to stay.

Trail and Hitch is small town oasis! My wife and I spent an entire month here in one of their tiny homes during my PA school rotation. It is close to everything and has great views. The tiny homes are incredible and a fun change of pace compared to a normal hotel. They have everything you would need and more. Fire pits, yard games, a sauna, a giant family style tables, grills, and gorgeous landscape. The staff are incredible and want nothing more than for you to have a great stay. Mike is amazing and went above and beyond for us. We had a couple very minor issues and he made sure they were taking care of quickly and efficiently. He even sent me a link to CO road conditions when he knew I was heading back down to Denver. He truly cares for the people staying here. If you want to experience the small town charm of a fun mountain town, don't think twice and book here now!

We really liked Meeker. People were great, area is great, Trail and Hitch is really nice. Showers clean, quiet at night. Only complaint is the sewer connection was too high (and it looked high on a few other slots). I had a tough time dumping the tanks. I don’t think it would keep me from returning but fixing that would make this a better RV location.

We stayed in the White River Casita little house. It was very nice with a queen bed downstairs, queen bed upstairs in the loft and the sofa made into a queen bed. We just use the master bedroom queen bed. It was very soft and comfortable with a large pillow that went across the bed was very comfortable. Everything was appointed well, with the full-size refrigerator, dishwasher, large four burner stove. The bathroom was very nice I love the countertops and the backsplash. It was the best day ever and any hotel or cabin we ever stayed in. The outside have a fire pit, a corn hole game, and the spa. We will definitely stay there again. Very enjoyable. The staff and the cleaning staff was very friendly and courteous.

We just completed staying10 days in A- frame cabin 16. It was great! Kris was a great host, and the staff was so helpful! The newly refurbished cabins were so nicely done, comfortable and clean. They had all the equipment and utensils for a complete kitchenette. We would stay there again if we returned to Meeker.

This place is so amazing!!!! The shower/bath house are always clean no matter what time it is. Not many neighbors right now but everyone so far is pretty chill and quiet. The management is very friendly and always get back to you in a timely manner. Maintenance is friendly as well. The all around 🗻 mountain view is so majestic. The Big Town (which includes Walmart) is about 40 miles away but the driver is beautiful.

Clean RV park with lots of room for our 36' motorhome towing a car and roomy restrooms/showers. Not a lot of shade. Wish we had more time to check out Meeker which looks like a cute community but were here for only one night. Good place to spend the night when traveling from Utah to Rocky Mountain National Park.

This place is AMAZING! The family said it was very much like Glamping and they offered so much more than just the very cool tiny homes! A sauna, fire pits, so many outside family games, beautiful views and the most amazing people to work with! If you get a chance, you should choose this option to staying in a hotel! All of the family will be staying here from now on when they are in town! Thank you again for putting so much work into making such a memorable experience for us and the family over Easter weekend!

My family and I travel all over the country for work with our two children and our dog. This has by far been the best park we've nestled into. The office staff/camp host are super friendly and accommodating, they are a super family oriented park ( with family movie nights on a big projector for everyone to come enjoy and not to mention their "hang out areas" and the playground they just built for the kiddos ) if work wasn't calling I would never leave this place. Not to mention the town here, Meeker, makes us want to move here and raise our family. By far my favorite town and favorite RV park to date.

We recently stopped here for one night without a plan. We just drove as far as we could and looked for a place to set up our tent. This seems to be fairly new campground. The bathrooms were huge and super clean, and there were several of them scattered throughout the campground. There is laundry on site and firewood is available for sale. I would recommend this campground to RV campers or people who would like to try one of the adorable tiny houses on site. I would totally come back to try out the barrel-shaped tiny house! **BUT**if you are tenting, a few pieces of advice: Make sure your tent is 12x12 or smaller. Ours is a six-person tent with a front "porch" attached and is much bigger than the sand pad designated for tents in this campground. There are six 12x12 pads. Seems plenty big for the average tent, but if yours is bigger, there are at least two tent sites that had flat areas of land near the sand pad where a tent could be staked up, BUT the ground is very hard and you will need heavy-duty tent stakes. Just plan ahead. AND, be sure to call ahead and ask the manager if the tent sites that are available have room for a larger tent behind or next to the pad. We were lucky when we stayed that all 6 tent sites were available so we just picked one that fit our tent! That may not always be the case as more people find out about this lovely campground. Also, I'm not sure if this is the case every night, but it was SUPER windy. It kept us awake. Maybe a storm front was coming in, I don't know, but our tent was flapping all night long. I would recommend an RV or tiny house if it's always that windy! (Ask the manager when you call to make a reservation). But again, bathrooms were super clean and the tiny houses would be an awesome choice!

Very nice campground and fantastic view!! We have been traveling with our UTVs for 2 weeks, and this was, by far, our favorite campground! Thank you for your hospitality!!!💗Noteworthy details: I will say that having a dog park for leash-free play would be a great thing to add!!!!

We stayed in the Meadow Loop tiny home over thanksgiving and had a really relaxing time! The tiny home was nicely decorated, clean, and had everything we needed. We used the dry sauna one night and did a campfire another night. The bathhouse was the nicest I’ve seen at a campground by far! And with heated floors!

Pet and Kid friendly. The tiny homes are really cool and unique. Much better than a hotel room IMHO. Love the heated floors in the bathhouses, and that the bathrooms are clean. Nice park to relax in with good views. 10/10 would go again.

All I can say is WOW! Pretty cool little spot outside of town, super quiet, remote yet has the amenities of home. Super cool tiny homes with all the necessary goods. I enjoyed my three days up here in January while on business and will definitely be back. If you are looking for someplace away from it all with amazing views of the stars and simple living this place is the way to go!!
