Located is beautiful Meeker, CO this is a nice hotel with nice staff. We used the laundry (thank you! Saved us!) and spread out wet camping gear out on a secluded side railing to dry.Room perfectly nice. Breakfast good. You'll get a kick out of their automatic pancake maker with viewing window for child delight.Meeker is beautiful with green fields and the river. There is a neat coffee / ice cream shop in town with the original soda counter still in operation.100% would reccomend and hope to stay there again. Very much liked this place.

I stayed there on a Sunday in July 2022 and have no major complaints. The hotel is located in a quiet town up in the mountains and fresh air. I paid $129 plus tax and I got more at this hotel than hotels costing close to $200 that I stayed at in the 2 weeks prior when I traveled from New Jersey to California on my 20 day road trip. Excellent additions to the room were included breakfast and fruit and in room water. I have had the displeasure of having noisy guests at 2 different hotels prior to this one but here the guests respect other guests and my one night stay was relaxing and quiet. The hotel management is environmentally conscious and It's nice to see that people care. If I pass through Colorado by car in the future I will consider staying at this hotel again.

I have to say this us the best hotel in meeker. I absolutely loved staying here. The staff is very friendly the breakfast us always good and there's a good variety of diffrent stuff everyday.The rooms ate cozy shower has great water pressure. I wish I could stay longer

The facility is extremely well kept, clean and tidy. We stayed for two nights, and the young lady that helped us the first night was amazing. The first issue we had was after driving in from Denver the reservations being wrong. However, the young lady behind the counter corrected this. We checked in, got a meal then used the hot tub, which is in a room on the second floor overhanging the front wall. We closed the door and windows (two were open, and it was 20 degrees out) and had a great time. Once finished we left the room exactly as we found it. The second night there was an older woman staffed at the counter, we decided to do the same with the hot tub. As it was again about 20 degrees, we did the same. This time tho within minutes of our climbing in the water an older woman literally stormed up and immediately lit into us for 5 minutes solid about touching the windows and door. Nothing was posted about keeping the heat inside, or we would've left everything as we found it. She was truly angry, and as a couple in their 50's we both felt like a couple of 12 year olds. This belittling ruined the weekend. Had it not been for an enraged employee, i would have given 5 stars.

Clean rooms, HOT water, excellent water pressure. Customer service during check in was great, but when we went to the desk the next morning to inquire about staying a second night, we were simply told, "No, that room is blocked out for the weekend. So are all of the rooms like it." No attempt was made to offer an alternative. Perhaps there wasn't an alternative, but the receptionist returned to what she had been doing previously before we could ask.

One star is too many. I make my reservation telling the receptionist upfront that I have two cats and I am told it is no problem. When I get there at 12:30 AM I am then informed cats are not allowed try someplace else. As I scramble to find a place to stay I am being watched by the night receptionist like some criminal as she smokes just outside the main entrance. I did have to stay because no other pet friendly hotel had a room available, probably because they know how to treat guests.

My family got into town late at night and we were lucky enough to find that the Blue Spruce Inn was still open. The rooms were very spacious and clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. The hot tub is located inside on the second floor and was clean and easily sat four people. Continental breakfast was average but nice to have included in the room rate.

Fantastic place to bring your dog.. Wonderful, informative, accommodating staff. Made us feel at home and were very knowledgeable about the area. Never felt like we were asking too much. Felt like they loved having us. Great park behind the hotel. Would come back in a heartbeat!

When we booked our room we asked for the room with the king sized bed. When we arrived it was given to someone else and we were moved to a room with two doubles. We felt this was unprofessional since we booked a specific room in advance that was later given to someone else.The rooms are nice though and the breakfast they had due to the Covid-19 was actually better than I thought it'd be.

The Blue Spruce was more than we hoped for in service and comfort. My wife and I were headed out to a horse packing trip for 4 days in the Flat Tops and couldn't fly with our camp fuel. The staff at the Blue Spruce was super helpful and let us mail the package out for holding for roughly 2 weeks. The package was in our room at our super late check-in, with keys left for us. We had a much better than expected breakfast in the lobby, with tasty in-house made items as well as the usual continental choices. We'd absolutely stay again if in the area.

Good place to stay. Rooms not much to look at but they are clean. Great service/front desk. Short walk to a river with benches and a decent look at the mountains. Hot tub and workout room. I'd stay here again. Also, if allergic to pets make sure you say so, half of hotel pets are welcome the other half not. I had to change rooms

This place is small town fun all the way.After battling through the worst snowstorm I've ever experienced and rerouting north to Meeker after figuring out I-70 was shutdown, we discovered the Bluce Spruce Inn had one more room available! This was huge development considering the alternative route would have been sleeping in our vehicle.To be honest we had a good laugh at the size of the TV in our room, it was smaller than your average computer monitor but I couldn't care less. I enjoyed a movie on it later that night without any problems. Please just keep these TVs for the next 20 years. Nostalgia is fun.While this is definitely the type of town where they'd advertise FREE WIFI, considering it's only hotel in the area, it was clean and we had a good experience.

We got stuck in Meeker bc of a hazardous waste truck accident on I-70. Blue Spruce Inn was very nice for a one nighter. Great free breakfast choices, clean room, public hot tub on balcony. Price was very reasonable and the people were very kind.

We were in town for a funeral of an immediate family member. I was requested to write the eulogy and I had intentionally left my lap top at home. The evening shift lady, Anna, went above and beyond expectations and allowed me the use of one of the business computers to compose and edit. Once completed she then printed it out for me. Additionally, she helped my brother out by ironing his dress shirt.Only in a small country town would you expect to see such thoughtfulness!Thanks again Anna!

When we arrived in town to discover the establishment we originally booked (White River Inn) suddenly could not accommodate us, it seemed our whole family holiday might be in jeopardy. Blue Spruce Inn saved the day and worked hard to find a way to house both families in our party.It turned out for the best, as Blue Spruce is a newer establishment that backs to a beautiful park for the kiddos (along with fishing for the dads), is an easy 2 block walk to the town square and all the 4th of July festivities, hot breakfast is included, it’s pet-friendly, and there was a hot tub and nice lobby area down the hall for the grownups to gather (with kid monitors) so the kids could fall asleep in peace and we didn’t all have to do lights out at 8pm.Blue Spruce’s very sweet front desk person treated two distraught families with compassion and understanding and went above and beyond to help us get a roof over our heads and salvage the family time we were striving for when we planned this trip. We are incredibly grateful and look forward to staying with them in the future.
