My dogs are obsessed with this place, we drive 25 minutes just to go here. We have had many bad experiences at other dog parks with irresponsible owners, and when we found this place we were so happy, we have only had one incident of an unfriendly dog here out of the 50 plus times we have gone. Lots of space for running around and getting exercise. It can get a little crowded during prime time hours (early morning, and evening) but is still our number one place. Always remember to watch out for wild life as it is near hiking trails and woods.

Love this dog park. Friendly dog owners, friendly dogs, great views, the option to walk over to the river after the dogs swing around. The grounds are kept clean and well maintained. The attendance can be low - sort of depends on what time you roll through. Have been there many times and we never see another dog in the park. But all good, highly recommend

Best dog park we've been to. Great space, great dogs, beautiful view. 1/2 mile loop around. Just don't trust Google when it tells you to go down a weird winding path that ends in someone's driveway. Just park in front of the bohn park construction area and follow the grey gravel path, it's about a 1/4 back.

Excellent dog park! Not a lot of tree coverage or climbing objects for the pups but tons and tons of open grass fields and a great partially shaded trail. Everyone is always wonderful. Our dogs love this place!! Not small like other dog parks, plenty of space to stretch out those paws.

With a stunning trail to explore alongside your pup(s), this sweet dog park is an absolute hidden gem and it has lots of amenities. There are some small areas for shade or sitting down along the different paths, a generous water station, hooks for leashes/bags/etc., and more! There’s plenty of friendly people and friendly dogs, too :) Check it out if you’re in the area - it’s a sincerely serene walk to enjoy with your family or loved ones!

It took me awhile to find this park because Google maps is completely wrong. Type in Welch drive. The park is off of McConnell and is located behind the High School on the other side of the football field. It’s an awesome 10 acre dog park with beautiful views of the mountains. A BIG thank you to the City of Lyons for creating such a special place for dogs and their owners too!

Very large dog park. Typically very clean and owners pick up after the dogs. But parking is a little tough/far walk. And no small dog area, yet. Lyons looking to add a small dog section in late 2022.

If you have a problem with someone running their dog on their bike at a lap dog trail, then you're the problem. There is nowhere else to run a dog and bike at the same time, so either be the change that you want to be in the world or quit your complaining and thinking you're right about everything because YOUR feelings are hurt.

Large park with a huge amount of space for dogs. Beautiful setting beneath a ridge behind the Lyons public school.No agility course, shelter, or divided areas - it’s fine as is but certainly plenty of space to make it more than just an off-leash dirt rectangle.Impossible to find using any of the map applications. And the comment about accessibility is legit: it’s a substantial walk from wherever one parks-such that it would be prohibitive for anyone with mobility issues.(I wondered if this was by design, as it isn’t findable on maps and isn’t visible from the road)

I have mobility problems, especially walking any distance over a block of easy walking. My dog had been in the car for several hours and really needed an off-leash experience. I asked at the local visitors center and was told how to get there. No parking close to the dog park. Had to park in the high school parking lot and walk a long way over bumpy ground to get there. Water for the dog was available inside the park fencing. She had a good time, but the walk back to the car was again very difficult for me.

The directions from Google maps take you to a fenced off field that I think is the dog park, but there is no entrance to the park and no parking. Also it puts you at the entrance to someone's private drive with "no trespassing " signs... all of this after traveling down a few dirt roads with a bunch of potholes

It is a very large park and pretty much flat. But just something to consider is that there is no parking space close to the dog park! Finding directions is difficult as well. But the park in itself is very good.
