Always top notch customer service from the moment I walk into Sportsman's Warehouse! I'm always greeted with a "welcome in", and often accompanied by a "anything we can help you find or point your in the direction of?" Immediately, once you're where you were hoping to get to, you're greeted by yet another friendly and personable staff member who is more than happy to help you complete your transaction despite being time for their lunch break (shout out to Daniel! šŸ‘ŠšŸ˜) Thank you Sportsman's Warehouse!! 10/10 would recommend! šŸ˜šŸ¤™

I used to love Sportsman's Warehouse, but no more. The chain in general, and this store specifically, seems to have continued to go down-hill post Covid. Sportsman's Warehouse website showed a product as in-stock at this store. Repeated attempts to phone this store to confirm stock were not answered. Drove across town, inquired with a store associate about stock of the specific item, was told they weren't even going to look. If it's not on the shelf, they couldn't help me because "THERE AREN'T ENOUGH EMPLOYEES IN THE STORE TO LEAVE THE THE COUNTER", and that "Corporate" has been making it worse for the employees. So, the executive leadership of Sportman's Warehouse is out of touch, the employees are in open revolt. Not a pleasant or productive shopping experience.

Yesterday was the last time I do business with Sportsman's. I ordered a fishing rod from Sportsman's online. I did not receive a confirmation email, very strange. I'm a loyalty member and always get their emails and advertisements. I was charged for the pruchase and the transaction went through. The rod showed up to my house. Great, all is well right? I opened the package and was unhappy. I decided to return the item. I went to the Sportsman's in Loveland. Keep in mind, no email. The clerk at the front desk called the manager. He kept explaining the situation via walkie talkie and phone. "Customer ordered a rod, has no order number, but has item in shipped packaging, card from transaction, and online banking on cell phone showing no he indeed placed order. Etc" The manager was refusing to come out and help us. After the clerk at the front desk was done speaking with his manager, for 10 minutes or so, he told us to come back Monday and that the manager would have to call the e sales department to figure out the situation and that the manager was leaving for the day. Unbelievable. I asked him if the manager could come speak with us. The manager came out very rude and bit my head off. He couldn't be bothered to help. I snapped back at him and then he decided he could help us. There was a sales number on the shipping tube the rod was in so he could look up the order. I also had the card I ordered with. I still do not know why they couldn't have just looked at the cardboard tube to begin with or used my card to look up the order. None of this seemed particularly difficult. All it took was a little willingness to help a customer out. The manager just couldn't be bothered to do his job. He was so rude and was so upset to actually have to come up front and help us. I don't need to be disrespected, snapped atand treated like a burden. Especially when spending money. I'm shopping elsewhere from now on. My wife and I ended up going to Scheels. I've always shopped with Sportsman's as my number 1. Not anymore. What's the point?

I have tried so many times to go in and get fishing gear. Unfortunately they never have a good selection of the line I use or hard baits from top end companies. They also claim to have the best prices and I can get alot of stuff from jax or scheels for much better deals. With that said the customer service is great and they sponsor alot of good anglers and events. I 'll go check some other sportsman's locations along the front range for this reason. Hope I am not disappointed.

Their selection of knives is pretty good, as well as guns. I haven't bought a gun through them, however, and the staff (in guns) varies from friendly to wadda-want! Honestly, there's better places to drop hundreds of dollars. Ammo selection is so-so. I get .22 there sometimes. They rarely, if ever, have 30-30. Seriously? Powder has been hit and miss, mostly miss, and I don't even bother with the place for primers anymore. I don't even think they try to get them.

Really neat place. There was a pretty descent selections of sportsman bargains throughout the store. Nice selection of firearms, bow, camping and fishing equipment.I did find some awesome bargains. Like backpacks which were $99 for $14, Sterno compact camp stoves for less than $6, and 2 lb meat stick packs for about $9.Yeah... I could've easily spent a small fortune in there. They do have a rewards card program in the store, so it is a good idea to sign up for it.

This is the third review I'm writing. Apparently they think it's okay to delete my reviews. Don't get a gun from here. I bought two guns here. And I've had a problem both times. Not only did I have to wait 20 minutes for someone help me. But I was told there was a 72-hour hold in Colorado. I came back three days later just to find out sportsman's Warehouse keeps it an extra day because that's how corporations roll they think they need to do things different than the rest of the state.The second time I filled my paperwork out on the 6th. I came back on the 10th. And they couldn't find my background check after I had done it a second time and paid for it. They were kind enough to not charge me the second time but still.This wouldn't have been too big of a problem but I drove all the way from south of Denver 2 and a half hours to come pick it up. All in all I had to spin 10 hours extra driving and two tanks of gas. Because they don't know what they're doing. A lot of this wasn't totally the workers fault. It's just the way sportsman's Warehouse runs things. The fact that they deleted my other to reviews really pisses me off.You're better off going to your local gun store for 72 hours means 72 hours. Not only that but your local gun shop will have better knowledge of what you're looking for, accessories and can most likely answer any questions about your purchase. I honestly wish I can give him zero Stars just for erasing my other two reviews. That is completely unacceptable. I'd love to sportsman's Warehouse until I purchased a firearm. I will still go there for other things just not firearms. And they should tell people it's a 4-day hold of a 72-hour hold because the first day doesn't count. Why does it not count? Because there a corporation and it has to go through their corporation like they're the government or something. It's not totally the people who work there is fault. Other then them not being able to find my background check in the computer. I hope this helps some of you if it stays up they'll probably delete this one too!UPDATE: I filled out this review this morning before heading in there again to try to get the same gun. They messed up my order again which puts me at which puts me at 15 hours drive time and $120 in gas. I purchased it online and for some reason when I bring it up they have to apply some gift card for the 850 something that I paid for it. when I've already paid for it. They accidentally voided it out. So they have no way to give it to me I have to drive all the way back again which when all is said and done hopefully sometime this week will be will be a total of 20 hours drive time and $160 in gas and that's if they even figure it out. I called to get the number for corporate and I was hung up on twice. I called back again and nobody would answerd. This is without a doubt and I'm sure anyone reading this could tell the worst experience I've ever had buying a gun and I've been buying guns since 1999. If you're still reading this I strongly advised to never buy a gun from sportsman's Warehouse. One way or another I'm going to get corporate's number and not that stupid 1-800 number and file a huge complaint. On top of that this is the first review experience I have ever filled out in my entire life. But it was so horribly bad I had to. I paid for this gun on March 30th, it's now April 14th and I'm still waiting. It's been in the store since April 5th.

Got set of binoculars they looked fine in store but once I got home it has a snow effect around the edges. My wife said the same thing. After reading returns I didn't see any reason I couldn't retire. The guy was nice but then some lady came over and said I couldn't return. I asked her what in the return policy said I couldn't. After 5 minutes of arguing they took the return but I'll not be buying anything else. Scheels will be my only go to.

Signed up for their "loyalty" program nearly 10 years ago and have given my phone number for every purchase made in store since without an issue. Finally decide to try to use my points today, and low and behold it was never set up properly by the store employee so I'm out of luck. I've spent thousands in this store and not one point, well I suppose the whole point is boost the clerks performance rating and to sell my info to scammers so they got what they wanted... but I won't be back nor will I sign up for another one of these club accounts with anyone else!

The manager and staff at the gun counter have absolutely no clue what they are doing. We order something and they cancle it without telling us, then we go there and they messed it up again to the point my credit card was charged and frozen 3x. So if we still want it we would have to place a 4th order after waiting for a refund 3x over.Mind you we have our ccw's and know what the hell we're doing and own many firearms. Unfortunately we are just going to move on to a store that actually knows what they are doing, especially at the gun counter.And it all starts with management and their bankers hours. They have a nice selection but dont know how to sell anything correctly.This was a horrible experience, and the management and people at the gun counter could care less. If you have any self respect, take your hard earned money to a store that actually wants your buisness.We plan on making a BBB complaint.

bought a springfield xdm. they have both threaded and non threaded barrels and i chose threaded, both on display but only 1 sign between them claiming 15 round mags. get home 3 days later after picking it up just to find out they cant specify with 2 signs on the display that the threaded barrel only has 10 round mags and is cali compliant. my whole convo with the employees was about mag size and how i wanted something bigger, guess i have to double check opposed to taking their word on the specs. THANKS SO MUCH GUYS

Sportsman's Warehouse further INFRINGES ON OUR 2ND AMMENDMENT RIGHTS! As if the three day waiting period in Colorado isn't enough of an infringement or inconvenience, Sportsman's Warehouse chooses to add on to it? Situation: I purchased a pistol on March 30th at 5:04pm. This weapon should be available to me on April 2nd at 5:04 pm but Sportsman's Warehouse "rounds up" and will not release the weapon until April 3rd. I checked their firearms purchase policy and theres nothing pertaining to this in it. Absolutely ridiculous. You give them an inch and they'll take a mile.The customer service was fine and the prices were decent but I will no longer support this company and encourage you to do this same.

I always hit up this store for all my hunting, fishing, and firearm needs. There staff in the hunting department has always been exceptional helpful and friendly. Most recently I worked with Lee and he answered a variety of questions about different products I was interested in purchasing. He was very knowledgeable and gave me great information and insight. I will definitely be back!

Terrible store experience, no one is working there. Impossible to get any assistance then when you get to check out there’s poor old ladies who are uninterested in helping people check out. Phones a ringing and line is long. I’ve had to walk out multiple times. It’s obvious store managers don’t care about the store or people working there. Don’t shop here, just order on Amazon!

I was in yesterday just as they opened to pick up some ammo for a new rifle my wife bought me. Two of the employees took extra time to scan prices and help me get the correct ammo for the Hellion. One of the employees I have worked with in the past and he is always extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The female who I had not worked with before, was also very nice and for an early Sunday morning having to work, she actually acted like she cared about what I needed to find. I typically have excellent service at this store, but yesterday was exceptional. I didn't get their names, but they were both fantastic and I appreciated their efforts!

First of all, don't expect most of the items you see online to be in stock at this store. Secondly, they do not mark sales prices on a lot of items. So, you have to reference their website on your phone while you are shopping to try and find the sale items. And keep your phone handy because you're going to need it when you check out, as none of your sales items ring up at the right price. I will shop for my fishing gear and tackle elsewhere from now on.

Skip this place. Terrible management. Over the last 7 years I’ve spent some serious money here.This last trip, I took my son here to get a fishing pole. We grabbed one and headed to the single checkout. 10+ people in line. The poor girl behind the counter was very frustrated at the line and computer issues. She called for help but no one came. The female manager replied with ā€œI’m on breakā€ over the radio. So we waited, and waited.A polite young man showed up to help from a different department. After waiting for the large line, it was our turn. He scanned the fishing pole. Turns out the pole was priced incorrectly. The cashier called for a manager to help, stated there were 3 people on that could help. Two annoyed and seemingly angry managers called over the walkie talkies and told him they were on break. One said ā€œfind someone elseā€.After about 15 minutes of holding up the line, feeling humiliated and waiting for lazy managers, the manager finally showed up announced she was finished with her break. She looked at the register and was like ā€œsorry, this is the wrong price, best I can do is Xā€. She was rude and made it seem like it was my fault her team screwed up the inventory pricing… It was humiliating. I went to leave and she started talking to the cashiers behind my back. So I asked for the store managers number. Tried calling the next day 2 different times and never got through!These managers need to take some ownership and figure out how to run a decent store.I went to Jax outdoor store and purchased a new pole right after leaving Sportsman’s Warehouse. Very nice staff and selection at Jax. Sportsman’s Warehouse is doing a great job converting customers to new Jax customers. I’ll never be back to this Sportsman’s Warehouse.

06/03/23 - Inventory thin. Line to checkout way to time consuming. One cashier, 5 people in line, 20 minutes. Mentioned to to male store employees and they could care less. Mentioned to cashier and she said business is to slow to hire more people. Well let me say, will not come back due to checkout times. Have been many years loyal shopper. Go to Scheels and they have 10 registers open at any one time. Not enough business to hire more employees? Maybe that is why you are losing business, poor customer service.
