I was short by $15 and I wasn't going to be able to get all the groceries I was buying and I had asked the cashier for help to take acouple items off of my total and he had offered to pay what I couldn't cover he even helped me split payments so I wouldn't over draft on my card. He was also so nice about it to. Such a amazing person and employee Thank you so much it really helped!!!

By offering conventional food cheaper than organic, they’re making the customer pay extra not to be poisoned. They throw away half the food and will call the police if you’re in the trash. If you’re an employee they’ll fire you. Then the billion dollar company asks YOU to help end hunger at the register even tho they just doubled prices for corporate profits alone. The irony is literally painful. Good thing land is so unattainable or people would just grow their own food.

It's Christmas morning and I left the house without my purse, my mom called and asked me to pick up some biscuits. I spoke to the manager Zack who told me he could take zell but didn't have Venmo. Then he took his own $10 and gave it for me to use to buy the biscuits. I just want to say thank you and what a great start to Christmas morning. I highly recommend this Safeway! Thank you Zack Merry Christmas!

I was there shopping and stopped at the seafood counter because I liked the price on king crab. The man working, who was older, like me,,, was wonderful!!! He helped me buy more than I was going too, haha, I just really appreciated his customer service. I would like to find out his name, anyways shout out to him!!

supposed to be open until 11pm. I got there at 1050pm to grab bacon and the doors were locked. I tried knocking but no one came. If you're not going to be open until 11pm then don't say you're open until 11pm

I have bought way too much expired food watch the expiration dates on anything you buy. Deli is the worst if you don't eat it within a day or two it's bad the bacon was literally dripping all over the other foodThe last pic is what the bacon is supposed to look like. I bought some Frozen shrimp dumpling soup that was 2 years expired

This location has CLOSED SELF-SERVE WATER STATION because of COVID. Sprouts still has theirs open down the street.Access to clean and affordable water is ESSENTIAL. Stock sani wipes next to the machines if you’re that worried. Not everyone can drink from their sinks or afford to buy new gallons every week.

Cashier was rude, I get it gets busy, I understand the plastic bags are going away. I forgot my 50 reusable ones at home and today I didn’t feel like carrying the items in one by one or bagging them in the bags at home to lug them up the stairs. And my cashier Nick was quite prickly about it. I understand it I do, I myself work in customer service and it’s not for the weak, people are rude. However, when one starts off a customer interaction by being rude to them, that is all you are going to be dealing with, rude people. Can’t pick up groceries anymore without someone being a jerk and from the STAFF to boot. Just use self checkout or go to the one down the street.

The bakery staff is fantastic! Called and spoke with John about getting an edible sheet printed and he made sure to pass it along to the person the next day who would be printing. Ashley followed up, since what I had dropped off wasn’t super clear in printing instructions, but everything was done and printed correctly in time for me to pick up. I appreciate the staff at this store, everyone is always so kind and helpful!

Smaller Safeway with easy access and close to the neighbor without too much traffic. Decent customer experience and layout. Brand new rebranding and grand reopening.

They had everything I needed the store was clean the employees were personable and professional and I left my umbrella in the cart went back to get it the cart was gone and I thought I lost it, went inside to the service desk and the cashier at the the U-scan where I had checked heard me mention that I left my umbrella. He ran behind the service desk and found the umbrella. I was so tickled to get it back so I would say it was a very positive experience.

Digital coupons you can only get certain amount of items in one ad week, not just that shopping trip. Ex: $.97 half gallon of milk you can get limit of 4 that entire sale week but can't split between 2 different days so if you want 4 total that week have to get in one purchase not one on Monday and 2 on Wednesday and 1 on Friday. To total 4 at end of sales week. Just too confusing. Just have a coupon or don't.

Ended up with a flat on my trailer which had riding mower in it. Owner allowed me to un hook and leave trailer there took me 3 days to fix and he didn't tow earns the 5 stars. Otherwise I'm not a fan of safeways in general the whole digital coupon stuff have to have a phone with active service to get discounts. If it's on sale then let me have it for the sale price.

The last straw is the new self checkout. One cashier so you’re pretty much forced to use it. Every time my kid ran by it, it took a video and accused me of stealing. After the second one it requires someone to come approve and watch videos. He apologized. But no thanks. What a hassle!

I went to 2 safeways in one day. We have 2 locations in less than a mile. I went to the butcher shop area and they were closing up. There was no 93/7 hamburger meat in the hamburger area. Eventhough he had closed the butcher shop area, the employee came out, asked me for my needs, and came out of the back with the hamburger I NEEDED!!! Awesome job!

I'm not sure what has happened to this store recently. They used to be my favorite place. Now, they aren't putting product into their system UNTIL you're at the register. How did they even verify the shipment if the product isn't in their system? Their managers? We have one young one who loves to humiliate his fellow coworkers by announcing their mistakes over the PA, and the other who moves about as slow as molasses. Apparently the customer's time does NOT matter. I guess we're going through another 'training' time, as the employees are less than helpful and the managers can't be bothered to view their customers as important.

Let Trevor at self-checkout know it'd be nice if he cleared baskets around and on the kiosks instead of talking with a co-worker and just pacing around. Especially when there are zero staged when you walk in. Store in very unkept and not staged or stocked well. Overall has a run down feel to it. Sad cause this once was a great store YEARS ago. Some of the digital coupons are great though!

Zach and Jetson were so help and sweet… we couldn’t find somethings that we needed because we were going on a new diet and it’s was a mess but they were super helpful and our app wasn’t working and they were both more then happy to help! Thank you so much Zach and Jetson you both went above and beyond and we appreciate it so much!!

Decent food choices at a good price. One of the few places to find a whole leg of lamb in town, and surprisingly decent frozen meals by the company for about $5 per person for something easy

Some cashiers are not aware of sales. This has happened twice to me. If you.tell them the sign said it was on sale, they just look at you and say "No, it's not ringing up on sale " no one bothers to check. Normally I have good experiences there. But watch what is being rung up. Look at your receipt. Make sure your getting the sales your supposed too! Outside of that , it's a good place to shop.Update-- haven't had any experiences like I did when this happened. Over all I like to shop at Safeway. Staff is friendly and very helpful!

Never liked shopping there. But now im not so sure thats very smart. All of the produce looked fantastic and the Bakery has a new fan. Its time i start going in a new derection and your part of it safeway

I do not feel safe shopping here after dark. The homeless are always hanging around. As well as the company leaving 2 young girls alone to work,/close the storeThis is not good safe practice for Safeway.

This is a nice community store that has all the Staples for daily needs. Where it comes up short is a large variety of those items like the larger versions of it. Example: if you want fancy cheese they will have a hand full of nice cheeses and sliced meats. But if your looking for a large variety this might not be your place. Now replace cheese with any other random food item. This is a great location for quick food stop or if you just need to pick up the basics.

Ticked off. Made a quick run un to puchase some ice cream. Left phone in car. Price without app was $7.50. Price for exact same item if I use their app. $5.00. Seriously, they charged me 50% more for not using their app. March 15 2023. Just visited again. Made the mistake of leaving my phone in the vehicle. This time the digital coupon gave me a chance to pay 2.50 for ice cream priced at 7.50 without the digital coupon. So if I don't bring my phone literally everywhere, I am blessed with the opportunity to pay 3X the amount than if I had my phone and could scan for a digital coupon. Needless to say, I left without the items. Time to start using Walmart 100% of the time. Not bad enough I had to have a Safeway card for years to get fair prices. Now they have added this.
