Why would you have your hot food at the deli closed during lunch time. Funny thing is I go there a lot and it seems to be the older gentleman that takes his brakes during the 12:00 to 1:00 time. You end up losing business because of it. I would have spent 10 to $15 at the deli counter but since it was closed I got a Frozen TV dinner for $4. Might need to readjust brake time.

The selection and prices are great, plus the store is clean and nicely organized. I've been coming to this store for at least 35 years. The employees have been professional as well as cordial. From flowers for funerals to gifts for administrative professionals day to pearl chains for my reader glasses snd compostable picnic supplies, I find these extras along with my favorite groceries. When our son got married in 2022 the deli and bakery staff members went over and above expectations to prepare on-time, attractive, delicious food trays and cakes for the rehearsal luncheon to high praise from all! I'm truly grateful for this store.

Was downtown, needed a few items, and stopped by for the first time in years. This is a very nice store: lots of light, well-marked aisles, nice bakery, and a good selection of everything else. The checkers are friendly and helpful, too. This store is becoming a regular stop for me.

Walking into a grocery store for 5min shouldn't cause me a life time of stress..deli is horrible never anything ready or it's under or over cooked..I don't have the luxury of cooking at home so hot ready food from a deli is my choice for a hot meal but I hardly ever get it at this location which in turn is wasting my time and resources I'm sure there general attitude would be if you don't like it go somewhere else my solution is do your job properly and with pride ..I shouldn't have to go somewhere else

Store is run down, disorganized and is an absolute cluster and nothing is ever replete which makes doing DoorDash orders incredibly difficult. Also the staff is rude and won’t do anything to help if you run into a situation. I was trying to fulfill an order and one of the coffee bags I had to pick up had a giant slit in it and I didn’t find it until I got to the register. Keep in mind it was the last one of that particular brand that was left. The lady at the register wouldn’t help me at all or try to figure something out. She had this “I don’t care” attitude and still wanted to charge the company card for it anyway until I told her to remove the item. She acted completely clueless and didn’t want to do anything to help me resolve the situation which put me as a delivery driver in a bad position. This behavior reflects badly on me when I’m trying to do business and be professional with my deliveries. Please do better because I will not be coming back until things improve.

girl thought just because i was buying 1 pastry that i didn't mind her running off without saying excuse me/sorry etc. as much as i hate wal-mart, i'd rather go there now because at least they have self checkouts. if i have to depend on a human to check me out and that person runs off without saying i apologize, i will be 1 minute, then it would have at least been better. i will support robot ran stores in the near future. it's not like she had to go to the restroom ffs. she ran outside for whatever reason. so what did i do? i left the donut at your store and went to go support a small business selling coffee and pastries, so i got a pastry there.

This is for the pharmacy; I had a great experience with Stacy and Bill, both professionals with superior customer service skills. Unfortunately the short man in the pharmacist position, if he's that, could learn from them.I had Stacy fulfill a prescription from CVS which she told me was ready for pickup, Bill was also helpful. When I went up today to pick up the medication I realize they put a different medication than what I had ordered. The short man said that I would have to call my pharmacy and request them send the right medication without even asking or looking into the matter. When I mentioned Stacy confirmed the meds he said he will ask for meds from CVS saying they always mess up. Being new to this town this men's attitude seemed unprofessional, I hope is not a reflection of Safeway or the town. Needs an attitude adjustment from management for sure...I will try a different store next time. He was anything but nice, and yet Bill and Stacy were terrific, kudos to them

I don't appreciate the rudeness for one and I don't appreciate you studying my driver's license I'm 57 years old sell me the can of Copenhagen I don't have to come in and spend my money in you're commie run down dump either I'll go next door from now on to get my Copenhagen and I'll start going over to natural grocers or up to Sprouts, especially if you can't be any more friendlier there than what you people are so I don't care for this Safeway I don't care for the attitudes here and you store looks run down but that's about the norm, right

Has minimal options, little to no variety unless you have the average American tastebuds. Can never find a cut of meat that looks edible. Only ever has one to two cashiers. It is very rundown, not at all what you expect a Safeway to look like. I avoid this store like the plague. I will gladly spend more money at the new natural grocers or Sprouts up the road.

This store is really old. In the lines were kind of long the day that I went. There's a lot of homeless people that hang around the parking lot and made me feel really unsafe about my vehicle being out there. There's a pretty rough hotel across the street which explains a lot. I ate from the deli there in the food was good it's just the atmosphere I had a problem with this being the reason that I would give it three stars.

This rating would be better if it wasn't for the lack of service in their deli. Several times during the last two weeks my roommate and I have had poor and even non-existent service when attempting to make purchases in the deli. It's an ongoing situation that has been mentioned to other staff members as well as the management but the person who is the source of the issues has not made an effort to change his poor customer service practices nor has he been replaced with someone that wants to do the job they've been hired for. I don't believe that expecting him to slice and wrap up some ham, turkey and swiss or to have fried chicken available at 7 pm or even report to the deli when management calls for him over the P.A. system is too much to ask. I will not be going to the deli here again until he is ready to work or replaced.

This Safeway put together a large deli order of party trays for an event we held. They were fresh and above our expectations! They were friendly and were on time. Great job , Kudos to your staff and thank you for making our day easy, awesome and delicious!

For an older supermarket this place was a very pleasant surprise. The outside looked dated, but not in any kind of neglect or disrepair - just older. The inside however was extremely well cared for. I can see that they take great pride in their store here. Even all of the products, like canned goods, we're all symmetrical with their labels all turned to face front. That right there tells you that they put in the extra effort.

2 stars because giving it one star would make that a very lonely star.To the point; saving everyone the agony of a review which would be rather heavily based upon negativity and bad vibes and possibly distorted juju ...In my rarely humble opinion:Should there exist any option for you to acquire the goods you seek at a different store elsewhere, that would be your best option.Not recommended.Maramao. this is kind of a dirty and rundown location but the prices are cheaper than most of the Safeways I've ever been to, so if you're looking for affordibility above all else I do reccomend coming here... but if you want a cleaner, nicer & more modern store to shop at with your family I'd recommend going somewhere else.

One of the last remaining "old Safeway stores" I no of. Expect personalized service and no self check out. I go out of my way to visit this store, and there are two other Safeway stores and two King Soopers stores within five minutes. There are Wallys stores within ten minutes. Hards pass on Wallys. Prices are fair, and the people are great. "I would really appreciate it if other stores would go back to the excellent customer service that this store provides.

I like the fact that your stores don't appear to be excesively crowded. You don't suppose that's because of the higher prices we see as compared to your competitors? All things considered great store but with your prices were lower.

Pharmacy visit, Greg was there and had the script ready for me. Had to pick up a few sale items and they were both on the shelves! On the last day of the sale. They opened up another lane up front because the person ahead of me left their full cart of stuff in the way while she ran back to get a few more things. The cashier was friendly and fast.

The people try hard to please. I especially like the apple fritters @donuts, and the signature jams and jellies. The store is clean. Lacking in abundance, the Veggies. Full retail price. No amenities ( packets ) at the deli.No tables or benches.Ample free parking .Handicap accessible.Recommended. Maramao.Meow

"Josh"ordered 40-12 pks of various soda from warehouse got em within 1 week at special pricing. Gen mgr "Brody" offered custom services for me, handicapped senior citizen. Great people here. I've been trying to get same items from Windsor store for 2 months.."it's not available in the warehouse"...but Josh got it done!!!...and was prompt and informed on f/u calls. I do special orders like this 3-5times a year. Inflation is making bulk orders more necessary.

I love going to this Safeway and I’ve never had any issues but my favorite thing about this location is Margie. I make a point to go to her checkout line whenever I’m here. She’s the kindest lady and always makes sure I checked my eggs and I really appreciate that!

It was okay, but they have no self checkout. And due to the amount of extra people now living in that area of town they are also understaffed for the amount of customers they have every time I go in there it is super busy and there are lines all the way to the shopping isles. They really should either hire more people or get a self-track output in. I have to give a shout out to a worker named Bambi there she is super awesome and very sweet and respectful. Keep up the good work and I hope that Safeway can take this advice and use it well

This Safeway has the best produce of any in the area. We love the savings we get on the app, too. Our cashier rocked it yesterday with no mistakes (can't always say that other times). They seem short on help, but the workers we see seem to be putting in solid effort!
