small girl wearing a grey hoodie and no name tag was super rude to a door dash pickup because he didn’t let her scan the items he picked up before putting them in his cart. she didn’t let him take an order he already confirmed because of it. it 100% should have been handled differently by the staff. i understand protocol and all that but she was rude as hell from the start. the guy doing the pickup was nice to her until she literally grabbed the item out of his arms, so his frustration was understandable. small girl needs to learn some better costumer service or find a job where she doesn’t need to talk to people. hoping to go back and get a name so i can update this post.

Just go to Petsmart on Hover. Don't even waste your time here. I stopped going maybe 2 years ago because this Lisa gal is just ridiculous. Seeing these reviews, I can't believe how many people have to say the same thing for the store to realize she is far from being an asset. I try to be so nice to her and she just acts like she is new to the job, doesn't know anything, and any customer with a simple question is a grave inconvenience to her.I went back in a few days ago just to buy a beta fish, thinking how bad could this really be. Petsmart is out of my way completely and just wanted to knock this task out. Wouldn't you know it, good ol' Lisa was there and spicy as ever. The betas were all stacked on a cart with foggy waters, I asked if they were for sale. "Ya, I don't see why not." Ok Lisa... Then she's snapping at my kids for touching the dog toys while I look at the fish. I'd understand if they were being disruptive or making a mess but they weren't. I already know Lisa is on one, standing there playing with her Stanley cup straw while everyone else was on the floor working and these fish swim in filth. There's no customers in line with us either. According to Lisa, she was supposed to be filling the waters but "didn't feel like it." I asked her if there was a specific beta that was a part of the sale or were all of them on the cart included. Full of even more attitude, she says "I don't know." I just kind of stare at her, thinking in my head that this is a joke. I'm trying to hard to be nice to this lady and she's being such a crusty old intolerant hag. She then says "They don't tell me nothin!" Girl, I know you've worked here for a long time. If I worked the front, I'd catch on what the common questions were and be prepared to answer them. And even if I didn't want to learn, I would at least say "I'm not sure, let me find out." I mean, is it really that hard?! Learn what it really means to be in customer service. Or just try not to be such a miserable human being.And if it isn't Lisa, it's the strong desire to turn the store into the department of agriculture for the deplorable bird cage. I don't know what your store has against Conure's but it's heartbreaking. There's no good reason for water to have algae in it, at the least. It was disgusting 2 years ago and nothing has changed.So, there you have it, this place sucks. It has great potential, but also great hinderances.

The store opens at 10:00 am on Sundays. When the doors opened at 10, I walked around the store for 5 minutes to browse then walked to the register and asked if someone is around to get a feeder mouse. Lisa on the cash register has this bewildered look on her face as if I just asked her a trigonometry question and says “I mean…. I haven’t even clocked in yet. We literally just opened.” Then under her breathe mutters “Jesus Christ”. I looked at my phone and it was 10:09. Ohhhhh I’m so sorry your lazy and showed up 9 minutes late Lisa and now I’m inconveniencing you dear. Another girl helped me and she was helpful and polite. I’m in this petco all the time getting food for my pets. This ain’t gonna fly by a long shot. I don’t know who Lazy Lisa thinks she is but she better straighten out or I’ll be calling the higher ups about this garbage.

Been frequenting this store often and although Lisa is super nice, it doesn't make up for the fact that the entire store is always closed early. Lisa said it is manager staffing issues. Sounds like the Store Manager needs to step up and work some Overtime, as there is no reason your store should be closed before 3 PM today. This is the exact reason why when I picked up an order, a petco associate canceled it instead of charging me. My freebies are warranted, I did not call about the mistaken cancelation since I got my items regardless. I think I'll get my next bag of food on Amazon for cheaper since I just redeemed my free bag from y'all so why spend so much money for IN STORE items when the stores ain't even open half the time. E commerce will get you too if you don't improve.

Staff is very friendly and helped us locate a few things but disappointed that they don’t have the dog feeding station we were looking for. We did buy a bit different style but it doesn’t equal the one we wanted.

The fish aquariums were disgusting with multiple dead fish floating in them. We pointed out the water being down in the ferret cage and they were super nice in fixing that, but I definitely wouldn't go here for fish. It was awful.

1st I want to thank Danica & Augusta in aquatics. They are both very knowledgeable they're willing to answer any and all questions fish related. Great place to shop for fish. I wish they had a better selection of coral and nicer pricing but overall I come back to this place for there great service.Whatever they're getting paid im sure the deserve better. Keep up the good work ladies.

Super rude old cashier lady that has made numerous mistakes for which she took no accountability. The saltwater fish tanks also have flukes, and every time the lead fish department person is gone, they completely fall apart. Tons fish death.

I went to buy some small crickets because they carry the grab and go crickets from small, medium, too but when I went to pick a grab container of the small crickets they were all dead. All of the grab and go containers dated 12/9. (PULL THEM OFF THE SHELF!!) So I asked for some single small crickets which they gal got for me and placed in the bag. I should have double checked before leaving!!!! Got home and got every side of cricket that I didn’t ask for. Out of 36 “small” crickets I got 3. I called to make them aware but you could tell they really weren’t interested in hearing anything I had to say. So I thought I would spread the word and attach pictures. Double check And make sure you get what you asked and paid for. Not only that but Petco is a PET STORE that should not have dead crickets on the shelf for people to buy out of convenience and get irritated when I ask for single small crickets instead and I can’t even get that!!! This Petco has always been rough and thought I would share my experience this time. BEWARE.

Complete Hack Job - I do not and will not ever recommend this location for pet grooming. The photo speaks for itself a complete hack job. After spending $100 on my one dog as they declined service on my second dog after waiting for four weeks to get him in for grooming, because of his skin condition they said they could not groom him… Thank God I only have one pup that is embarrassed to walk in our neighborhood due to this hack job.

Have shopped here for years. Ever since they added the vet clinic they are always out of stock on my much needed items. My pup gets a specific prescription food that should not really change. FOUR trips in and out of stock every time. Having to now shop elsewhere because I can't rely on them to have what I need.

Leah was very helpful during my visit! I went to get some things in preparation for a new kitten. She helped with questions I had and provided me with the Cat Parent brochure with all of the coupons in it that helped me narrow down my supplies and even give me some savings on it. First time I had been in a Pet supply store in years, and she made it a very friendly visit. Thank you! (he loves his toys and beds!)

Everything in the store has been DISGUSTING lately. I understand they are moving things around and that may cause clutter, but it’s much more than that. It’s a completely unorganized mess. Dolly’s and pallet jacks left all over the floor. Not a worker in sight except cashier. Fish look terrible. I went in to get feeders and half of the cockroaches are dead, ALL of the hornworms are dead and have started decaying into little brown and black slime that they’re still trying to sell. Not to mention they have brand new kittens with a litter box about 8 inches away from their food bowl when it could easily be moved. Lazy and sad for all the animals involved. Going to be ordering all my feeders online from now on if I can help it.

The Vet was awesome, she took very good care of Yollie. My mom just passed away and I was worried about the cost and how some places over charge and do unnecessary tests. She didn't do that, and I left confident that my Yollie was in good hands without having to worry about the expense, or not being able to afford the visit. I signed up for their Petco membership and that took care of the office visit. Thanks Again Petco!

This review is for the grooming specifically - If you want to drop your dog off to get groomed and return to a baboon, this is the place for you. Otherwise, keep your dog as far away as possible. We usually use Petsmart for grooming, but decided to try Petco this time. They informed us that our dog had matted fur around her butt, and that they “might need to shave some of it.” We said okay, and got another call ten minutes later saying that our dog needed to be picked up because she was freaking out (she gets nervous around hair dryers, which we had informed them about). We went to pick her up, and the employees said nothing. After apologizing for her causing issues, we started walking out and saw that her butt had been ENTIRELY shaved even though Great Pyrenees are not supposed to be closely shaved (something we assumed the grooming team knew). Not only did they shave her, but they made no efforts to even out the shaving or blend it into her fur. This is the worst our dog has ever looked, and when we told the employees that, they didn’t respond to us. This was the most disappointing grooming experience I have ever seen.

We get our dog bathed every 3 weeks and groomed every 6 weeks at Petco. Comparing with other Doodle owners in my area I feel I get great value for the price. I am a Vital Care member and it saves me so much on my grooming!

Been a long time customer at the vet clinic here for my pups and I ran 5 minutes late and they turned me away. I had taken off work and got stuck in hail after driving over an hour. My puppy just had strangles skin disease and we were very anxious to get his vaccines asap so that he doesn’t get even worse. The vet doesn’t care about that here I guess. I wouldn’t recommend this location for any of your pups needs. Never going back.

Their groomers are a joke. Made an appointment weeks ago and got an email confirmation. Apparently my phone number was the old one, so they waited til I showed up for my appointment to tell me they couldn't take my dog instead of emailing me like normal people. 🙃 unprofessional to say the very least!
