We bought 8 chicks before store closed on Tuesday and one of them died Wednesday around 8pm when store was already closed. Returned the deceased chick as soon as doors opened Thursday morning to get an exchange and they said we were past the 24 hour warranty. They were jerks about the whole thing. They reluctantly made the exchange but made it very clear that this was a favor. BEWARE! Go somewhere else to buy your chicks!!! Some are very sick.

Murdoch’s (Longmont) is fantastic and their clearance sales are even better. They have just about everything a farm supply store would have with the exception of trailers and tractor implements (they might, I’ve never inquired). They did help me a couple of years ago, find a product from a supplier in bulk quantities that they didn’t have in stock (nor actually stock at all) which is pretty much unheard of in my experience. They’re like a tractor supply with a firearms/ammo department with a JAX grade tool department (Milwaukee and Dewalt power tools) and a great selection of hand tools. Good deals, quality customer service. Oh, and they have chicks and ducks seasonally.

The online marketplace is useless and the support staff simply tell you to go to or call a store if you have any questions. They can literally only see what customers see, making them completely pointless. In store wasn't any better, everything is grouped by brand so you have to carefully inspect the ENTIRE store to see what the available options are. Nothing is labeled and everything is disorganized. Employees completely ignored me while I was in the store, preferring to chat amongst themselves rather than do their jobs.

I would like to say a big thank you to Caitlin for how she handled an incident this morning with my 2 year old daughter involved. We were visiting with and petting sweet Josie when an older woman with her dog came up to Josie and said she wishes Josie would bop her dog to "teach her dog" and proceeded to let her dog get in Josie's face and they started attacking as scared animals do. Caitlin stepped in between the two nicely the when the woman finally pulled her dog back to protect Josie and my daughter while still showing respect to the woman. The woman laughed as she walked away as we continued to pet Josie again for a minute. We continued to shop and ran into the woman and her dog and my daughter started crying saying she was scared of the dog. I really hope that woman won't be bringing her dog in again for the safety of Josie and anyone else around since the woman didn't care that my child was involved. Kudos to Caitlin and the other cashiers for handling this situation amazingly!! Love this place as always. God bless.

Livestock, lawn and garden, clothing and more.They have everything I need and more for my chickens: feed (organic and non organic), medications (dewormers, mite control, vitamins and more), bedding (hemp, straw), treats (dried bugs and treats blocks), supplies (heaters, feeders, waterers and more)

So my daughter and I went to Murdochs to pick out some cologne for me to wear during date night. When I walked up to their little glass cologne cabinet, it was open. So we started looking at The different colognes and smelling them.I noticed the Tumblr was loose and wasn’t locking correctly on the cabinet. I pointed this out to a couple sales associates. Even told him if they had an adjustable wrench tighten up the Tumblr so they can market it properly. I chose the clone I wanted, but then the store employee said she had to walk it up to me, and I couldn’t carry it upfront myself. That struck me as preposterous, because if I wanted to steal anything from that place, I had the perfect opportunity to wipe out the whole cologne cabinet without them knowing. The woman treating me like I would steal something from Murdochs, after offering to fix their cabinet, so it would probably lock was so very rude. But I probably should’ve expected it provided. She had the Karen style haircut.I just management have a chat with their employees about how they treat on his customers, because I was really disappointed in it.I also looked at a gun I wanted to buy, but after that Karen and her experience, I’ll probably just buy it at Scheels or Cabela’s

Ordered my compressed bales of hay on line, paid for them, drove up an ta dah! Got er done. Their on line stuff stinks on iPhone/ iPad, very difficult to make it give me the right store. Not formatted for mobile devices. That part gets 1 star but product and store were great.

I tried to tell this older lady working at Murdoch’s that they had a perfume in the men’s cologne and that I just bought it thinking it was cologne . At first she ignored me but sense I told her it was in the wrong section , she gave me attitude and said that I got it from the women’s side . I go “no I got it from here “ pointing at the men’s cologne . She goes “yeah that’s the women’s “ 😂 I told no it’s not it’s guy cologne then she goes to give me more attitude and say that I just got a box with women’s perfume but that it is men’s cologne. Which is not ! Do not buy your significant other or etc… the Yellowstone Tornado it is a women perfume ! 😂 sad that she couldn’t even listen to what I had to say , I was being polite . Maybe she got up in a bad mood today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Woke cowpokes. Looks like the inventory manager is a very large transgender, too many extra large women's shirts hanging in men's section. No more regular large size shirts in men's only very extra large shirts more for women's taste. Very feminine men's section. Store really sucks now. ( Never had any sales anyway)

Wow. What can I say about our local Murdoch's. It is amazing. They have such a great selection of products. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. I love that I can bring my dog in while I shop. I did most of my Christmas shopping at this store. I have also done many curbside pickups, and the staff who bring out my order are so helpful and kind. Thanks all for your great customer service.

Hello! I wanted to write a review of Murdoch's in Longmont. EVERYONE is unbelievably helpful. I have been going there forever. The staff is so kind. Some stores... it is like you don't even exist there. I ALWAYS have conversations with folks at the store! I love bringing my dogs in the store. Everyone is so kind to them and loves petting them and talking to us. Everyone is helpful to find products. I haven't met one cross employee.I had a particularly scary event happen at the store. One of my dogs started seizuring near the registers and two of the gals helped me take my dog out to the car and also my bag while I escorted my other dog out. That was super appreciated. Thank you for going the extra mile!!

One of the best places to go for just about everything... Besides food, other than plenty of snack type food. Great selection of clothing, shoes, boots for men, women and kids. Pet supplies like toys, collars, leashes, clothing, sleeping pads, kennels, medical items and food for almost any pet or farm animal. Fencing, gates, tool boxes, pumps, automotive, hardware, tools, jewelry, perfume, cologne, gun safes, firearms and ammo. Just go to their web site to really see what they have.
