My Mini Goldendoodle Lily and I have been extremely lucky to work with Mallory the past year. We make a trip from Denver every 9 weeks. Mallory does a tremendous job all around, but I especially admire the work she does on Lily's coat, ears and teeth. We've built a trusting and open line of communication this past year. Please request Mallory, you will NOT be disappointed!

I couldn’t be happier with The Poodle shop! Sam does such a beautiful job on our senior Bichon Gracie and is wonderful about accommodating her special needs. She’s an incredible groomer, professional and so friendly! Having had some very bad experiences with groomer’s and grooming shops in the past it’s just awesome having a groomer I completely trust with my little Gracie.

We just love The Poodle Shop! They have been cutting our 3 chihuahuas nails for years now. They use a grinder and do a really good job. We all know chihuahuas can be divas, but they handle our special bunch so well!

Don’t take your dog here if you don’t want to spend your day at the ER like me. They went so rough on her ears that she has several cuts and burns, she wouldn’t stop shaking her head as soon as I picked her up, Amy mentioned it like no big deal and after asking her if she was sure her ears were dry, I thought maybe she’s just uncomfortable because of the new haircut and stress so I went home. She kept shaking her head and eventually made the cuts worst and they won’t stop bleeding, so now we’ve had a terrible few days and a huge hospital bill. Don’t make my same mistake and go somewhere else.

Rachel has been grooming our golden doodle and chug for almost 8 years and she is the best! She is kind, gentle, loves dogs, and does a great job every time. We also call last minute and she always fits us in when she can, and my dogs don't mind going at all. She even gives Christmas gifts. We live on the opposite end of town but wouldn't go anywhere else.

Not just for poodles, we bring our Labby mix in for nail trims. The humans are always so nice, very loving toward the critters. The shop is clean and the dogs are happy. Very professional, lovely little shop.

Told our dog wasn’t serviceable because she is a seizure dog. She has been on medication for 4 years and called them no seizures and still no service. No not recommend if your dog is special needs in any way shape or form.

Had such a great experience today with Sam! Our first time at a groomer with our dog. We adopted Michael at age 6 or so and he’s been pretty upset about getting his nails trimmed at the vet. Even on trazadone he would growl when he was muzzled and held by someone at the vet while another person trimmed his nails. Sam didn’t even use a muzzle and did it by herself. She just put Michael in the groomer’s loop and dremeled his nails. He didn’t seem upset or stressed out. We’ll definitely be getting his nails done here from now on! We were super impressed by Sam. Thank you! It was a great experience for us and Michael.

Rachel is truly amazing at what she does, a true professional that loves dogs. We have 3 really big dogs and a lot of groomers in the past have gotten really frustrated with handling them, but Rachel is a true dog whisperer, she knows exactly what to do to calm my guys down and make them comfortable to a point that they no longer care if I’m even there 😂 and the best part is that they are always willfully go in and THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE with any previous groomer. Her dedication to her profession is outstanding and she is the only one I would ever trust with my dogs, they always come out looking perfect, when she walks them out they take my breath away ❤️ I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER👍🏻

Rachel has been grooming my 2 standard poodles and does a fantastic job. Recently she noticed one of the dogs' coat was changing and let us know right away. Two months later and after visits to a dermatologist vet specialist , she was right! We were able to get our Buddy prompt treatment and his condition will improve shortly. We are thankful for the care and attention she gives our dogs and they love it there. Diane

Great experience. We let our standard poodle's coat get too long and a bit tangled. The groomer was very patient and Angel has literally never looked better. We definitely will go back, and she looks so good I am motivated to brush her every couple of days. Win-win!

Love this place! This is the third grooming salon my dog Lucky has been to and this is by far the best one! He sees Mirely for grooming and she is always on it and is very caring with him. Can’t wait for her to cut my Aussie when she is old enough!

These folks did an amazing job with our St Bernard. He's a big baby, and they were very understanding. He came home so well trimmed, groomed, and smelling fabulous. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

First time getting my Bernedoodle puppies groomed and Heidi did fantastic work! I was worried I may get a call saying my male(95 lbs, in-tact and very hyper) was not cooperating but he made it through a full groom which tells me they are patient and know what they are doing. Both pups came out looking great!

This was my first time here and it was a referral from a friend, especially since I couldn’t get into my usual groomer after quarantine. I specifically asked for my cavaliers ears to be left alone (there were no matting besides maybe a tiny dread right by his neck) NOT to be shaved or cut too short. However, the groomer SHAVED under his ears, which is now super itchy and my dogs little fur is getting all tangled fromHis non-stop shaking his head and scratching. I understand that they were overwhelmed with appointments, but I’m upset that my dog is miserable and I wasn’t heard. Cavaliers are super sensitive and they do not need their inside ear shaved unless very matted. It also took way longer than I was quoted. I’ll stick to my regular groomer.

Walked in as a first time customer excited for my pup to get cleaned up after quarantine. Instead of a greeting a clip board was thrown at me and was told fill it out... well that’s a welcome. Both employees had a terrible attitude while explaining what I want done. Every comment was meant with a snarky or tone back. My dog was there for 7 hours and came out looking like they cut him with a weed whacker. His ears are in fact not clean. He cane back distraught like I’ve never seen before and he loves everyone and everything. Who shaves off half of a golden doodles tail!!! It sucks paying all that money for your dog to look terrible , ears not cleaned , and he’s distraught .DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE !!

They do an excellent job of grooming, but a poor job of scheduling. You can plan on your dog being there all day and that is unacceptable for me. EXPAND: If I make an appt for 10:30am, that's when I expect the grooming to begin. I returned at 2:30pm and they had not been to the table yet. These are small dogs with a combined weight of 30#s.Since I used you a couple months ago, I let this business practice slide. She does do a good job. But like yesterday, I delivered the animals in the morning, but not called until 4pm. (and I tipped $20) for $70 each. This means the dogs sat in the kennel for 4 hours and were only treated to 2 hours of care. The dogs were wound up and unable to calm down until 9pm (because I had evening plans, I had to return home and leave).Again, 10:30 appt is a firm time. Not 2:30 when you have a chance to get to the puppies.

We just love the awesome work Mirely Torregrosa does. It's very obvious she is a great professional at her job. Shows plenty of love and caring toward our Pepper. Cuts are awesome. She looks beautiful every time we take her in to be groomed. I recommend Mirely to anyone looking for a great groomer. Please give her a call. 😍

Rachael has been grooming our English Springer Spaniels for years and we have found her to be an expert in trimming our dogs in the classic English Springer Spaniel show cut. Rachael is a skilled perfectionist and Abby, our current Springer, invariably elicits compliments from passerbys. My personal experience with other groomers in Denver has been abysmal in that they have no clue how to trim a Springer. An added plus is that Abby enjoys her grooming sessions and excitedly bounds from my car to the door of the Poodle Shop to be pampered by Rachael. I highly recommend Rachael to anyone who wants a beautiful dog!

Rachel is fantastic. We have 3 Maltese, so we need lot's of help. She has taken them from total wrecks to adorable puppies! They know their dogs. I know she does show dogs, that's not our thing. We need them to be managable and to be taken good care of and that is what they do. I highly recommend The Poodle Shoppe.

Sucks to pick up your fur baby in worse shape than you left especially after spending $70. Yesterday I had my boyfriend bring him in because I didn't want to feel guilted by Missy. When he came back from dropping him off we decided we would try another groomer there (we only live 5 minutes away so its most convenient) when my boyfriend picked him up we decided we would go to a different place. When we got him home we decided we had to write a review. Dogs deserve water.I have a small dachshund poodle mix for the past two years, since we got him, we've taken him to Missy 3 to 4 times a year. He has hair that mats up very easily, but it also so so easy to brush out. Every time we drop him off we hear how bad his fur is and she always says "I don't know what I'll be able to do but I will try." usually adding in she might have to shave him all the way down to skin, she never had to, his fur is always the correct length all over. So I don't know why we hear it every time. He has yeasty ears which we have seen vets for and talked to many dachshund owners. Its a breed thing. He got them surgically cleaned when we adopted him. We clean them regularly but he gets itchy, especially in the dry Colorado winter, and when hes not with me. I would assume that people who works around dogs would understand, when my boyfriend worked at a dog daycare making the dogs feel comfortable and not hurt themselves was absolutely #1. They always had to be watched. I should not assume everywhere is so kind. When my boyfriend picked him up Missy informed him that our dog should go to the vet. He had scratched him ears like crazy when he was put in the kennel. My boyfriend shrugged it off as her just trying to make us feel bad again because she doesn't believe we take care of him, not thinking our dog could do any damage when someone who was paid to take care of him was watching. My boyfriend made sure to tell her his ears were extra irritated that day when dropping our dog off. When my dog got home his ears were hot and red and his back foot was bloody. The only other time he had been this bad was when I left for a week. Three people worked there and no one saw my dog freaking out? Where were they? Why wasn't I called to get him earlier? After getting some much needed love he went over to his water bowl and drank more than I had ever seen him drink in the past two years. I had to make him stop before he made himself sick and he still went back to drink more. He was away from me, and had a pre-exisiting problem Missy knew about for two years and he had no water. Of course he is going to hurt himself. To top it off, the only thing that we were told that helps his ears is to cut them short, Missy always does, she was even told to just cut him all the way down. When we got him he was still stepping all over his ears, not looking like they had been cut I had to cut over and inch of fur off them. I am just so happy Missy had a short day and he wasn't there the normal 5 hours. Just so disappointing.
