Wonderful grooming experience. Payton worked wonders on my little dog. She was very polite and caring to my dog’s needs. Would highly recommend her!!

They have a very limited brand variety. And upcharge all of their products compared to the pet smart across the street. Pet Smart also has sales on top of their already lower prices. Would HIGHLY recommend going to Pet Smart and skipping Petco all together. Waste of time and money.

I’ve shopped at Petsmarts and Petcos all over town for years and holy mackerel am I never going back to this one. The guy at the register, Joe, was condescending, pushy, and INCREDIBLY abrasive in trying to upsell me on a Vital Care membership the way a used car salesman tries to sucker someone into buying a 1975 Oldsmobile with its engine block full of sawdust. I must’ve told him no ten times, and he wouldn’t let it go before he told me, “you must not like saving money.” Bro, I definitely like saving money. In fact, I love it. It’s my favorite.I always try to give anyone working retail or food service the benefit of the doubt, but this guy was the worst.

I was at the Petco store to do an educational tabling for Bailing Out Benji. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I purchased a few markdown items for a very good price. I appreciate the opportunity to talk to people in Petco about the puppy mill to pet store pipeline in Colorado.

Just came in for dog treats and to make new tags for 2 of our pups. The staff was so friendly and the store was clean and organized. We always like going to this shop as they have the most products available.

The customer service was fine but I was disappointed to discover that my $5 credo had to be used in certain amount of time, like 30 days which isn’t long at all. It was no longer available and really the associate should have just given me the $5 off. I want to support local businesses but it’s for reasons like this that people chose to shop at Chewy/online stores.

I don't recall ever having a good experience here. All I got was attitude. The most recent time, I tried to use a $25 coupon I received through 24petwatch. They told me the register said it was expired, then the next guy said the coupon would expire in a few days, but it had already been used. He wanted me to come back the next day to talk to the manager.It snowed for 30 hours, so I called after the snow to find out if the manager was there (on a Sunday.) The guy I got on the phone told me I had to come in during business hours to talk to the manager, but the manager (apparently "Christina) would be busy with meetings all day. Then he told me the coupon was a scam or something. I've looked online, and Petco does, in fact, have a relationship with 24petwatch, per multiple press releases.At this point, even if they honored the coupon, I would probably never shop there again, having shopped across the street where they've always been friendly. I just cannot stress how disappointed I am with Petco. I consider them "three time losers" at customer service. It's just not worth anymore hassle for a $25 coupon. I intend to avoid them and 24petwatch from now on.PS: I read a lot of the reviews and many people had the same experience with rudeness at this store, including attempting to adopt a pet, which was my previous experience. I ended up going to Cat Care Society instead, and I didn't regret it.

Staff is inattentive and slow, and take forever to help with fish. The rude slouch that finally came to assist refused to sell me a danio because he felt that my tank MIGHT be too small. I'll never shop here again, Petsmart can have my business from here forward.

There is a guy at the checkout that is so abrasive I don’t want to go back to this location ever again. Not only would he not stop pushing the vital care after I declined multiple times, he was not even educated enough on how to cancel. I told him the print said it is a yearly commitment, and he told me I could just call my bank and have it blocked and then someone would call me to cancel. No, that’s not the proper way to cancel.

Of the two big box pet supply stores, I usually prefer Petco, but this location is kind of a mess. Also, heads up they do NOT have prescription foods.

I came to this location with my mom and little brother as he really wanted to purchase a beta fish. He saved up as much as he could, and could only afford food, a temporary tank, and the fish itself. I told him the fish definitely needed a bigger home with a filter, as well as some things it could swim through. Anyways, we went to check out, and the woman wouldn’t even greet us, she just said “You can’t keep him in there” in a harsh/judge-y tone. We explained to her that it was only temporary and she proceeded to check us out. She then throws a tantrum about the fact that we don’t have the water conditioner and very rudely demanded that we go get some. So we stay calm and another, kind associate helped us and educated my little brother on why he needed the conditioner. I also told that associate how rude and judgmental the cashier was, and she replied by saying “yeah she’s having a really bad day, but that’s no excuse” I couldn’t agree more. My mom came running to find us in the aquatics asile saying she wanted another cashier to check us out. The associate we were with called over their manager, christina, and my mom explained everything that went down and expressed how the cashier was so rude she almost made my mom cry. Cristina just says “oh well i was standing right there and i didn’t think she was being rude. It’s our job to educate!” My mom got very upset as that is NOT the way to educate anyone, and we ultimately returned everything and left. I work in the veterinary field and i unfortunately do not know much about our aquatic friends, but i know how to educate customers and advocate for the pets, and the way she did it was completely unprofessional and COMPLETELY inappropriate. I felt borderline harassed at that counter, and what upsets me more is how my little brother felt. That woman didnt educate anyone, she just sat and judged. You don’t treat an 11 year old stranger like that. The manager sticking up for that behavior and lack of customer service was absolutely disgusting and i really hope you consider going elsewhere to buy things for your pets.I also found it pretty disturbing that people like this can sit and judge your every move, but left a dead beta sitting on a different part of the store for who knows how long.

Every time I’m at this location- there is a gentleman called JOE that always tries to have an argument with customers and myself.Telling us what we can and cannot buy. Makes me not even want to go to this location anymore.Asks too many personal questions about the purchases which I understand the care for a pet & some concern, but I think he goes too much into detail and over exaggerates - even when myself or customers have done our own research.Yes, I’ve witnessed him twice be rude to other customers & 3 times with myself in the last year.Just put back all my purchases and left to go to petsmart. Been happening for over a year now.And by looking at reviews it seems like I’m not the only one that has had issues with JOE. Don’t let him help you

I used to only shop at Petco but they lost a customer today over something in my opinion could have easily been resolved. My daughter and I bought a Bamboo Shrimp from them that didn’t make it through the night. Not being aware of the store policy about returns, my daughter disposed of the shrimp. I called Patti the “Animal Care Manager” and explained that we had the receipt, video proof that the shrimp had passed, and would bring the water sample in. Instead of being a decent human being and realizing the only reason you have to bring the body back is for proof of passing, refused to honor the return even though we had proof that the shrimp was no longer with us. In addition to this, the night we were there she was extremely condescending to other employees and customers. Getting frustrated because the young gentleman that helped us was I guess taking too long and said the shrimp he had helped us pick out wasn’t fit for our tank. Hard to have confidence in this team when the employees are contradicting each other. In my opinion get people in there that not only love animals but also have people skills cause Patti doesn’t.

This is a good location. They have a big selection of products and every section is well stocked. Everything is easy to find and the shopping experience is good. They have a good selection of live animals as well, all of which look well kept. Prices are standard considering it’s a big brand company. They don’t have a great selection of sale/clearance items which is a shame. The staff was a bit distant with customers. Though helpful, they lacked the strong customer focus. In general, it’s a good store. I’ll be returning regularly!

The grooming staff is not friendly and very unprofessional. Was made to feel like a bother when taking my dog to get her nails clipped. I was told to leave my name and number and I’d receive a call when I can bring her in since you can’t make appointments, and never received a call back!!!! Only using pet smart from now on for my 3 pets!!!!!!!

Peyton is amazing, she truly loves her job. Kim wasn't warm too welcome us, nor did she help my already frayed nerves by telling me"this is what happens when the owner doesn't come to drop off the dog" my mother in law is in a wheelchair from hip surgery. I explained this on the phone, I had a picture from Google, bc again, I don't know and planned heavily on the experts to help with the cut. I'll be sure to only work with Peyton moving forward. Never felt so inept and low as I did trying to do a good deed for my MIL.

The Littleton store was very clean , I had stopped in to buy some freshwater fish on New Year's day. There were two ladies working in the fish area both were very nice and knowledgeable about fish . The tanks were amazingly clean ,as well as the area they were kept in.All in all a great experience.I'm now a steady customer.
