Jill has helped me with several issues. I was a vet tech and can do lots of things on my own but she made nail trims easy on a strong, nervous dog. She knows her stuff and her staff is awesome. Love the self service dog wash too. A total asset to Leadville.

This place is awesome! Dead themed and super employees/owner! The kind folks at Grateful Paws got us scheduled for the self service dog wash, and blocked off enough time to wash both of my filthy mutts! All of the shampoo and conditioners are good quality and smell delicious. (Now, if only they had a dog ID tag machine...hmmm?)

Really helpful and caring staff who helped me get my pup fitted for dog sunglasses. She recommended waiting until after I saw the vet to make the purchase, and offered to hold the last pair there for me for the day.Great store that I’ll be back to if my pup needs anything else while in Leadville.

We are so pleased with Grateful Paws, the owner is very knowledgeable about dogs, is very easy to work with, and we love getting report cards with videos and pictures. The shop has a lot of great supplies which is very helpful. A tired Doberman is a good Doberman.

We were visiting Leadville for the weekend and I stopped by to get some canned dog food and toys to keep our 2 year old cattle dog busy. They had several different types of bones that she LOVES. She couldn’t get enough of the baked bone marrow bone! We also got her a safe non-rawhide bone that she’s in love with. Thanks for the great bones for our sweet little girl!

I love this little store. The staff is so loving, and kind. We used the self serve dog wash, and it was amazing. We prefer this store over their competition which is Big R. Their stuff is actually affordable, and they have a way bigger selection of Kong toys which for our dog is necessary because he can chew through toys like nothing. Highly recommend this store. 😊

I cannot recommend this place enough. We were staying in town for a few days to go skiing and needed a place for our dogs to go during the day. We have 2 Bernese mountain dogs and one of them is extremely timid and has not done well in the past with boarding/daycare. Jill, was super helpful and easy to work with. She put me an ease knowing our dogs would be well taken care of. We could tell after picking them up that they indeed were taken care of and both had fun. Definitely look these guys up if needing doggy day care!

I cannot recommend this place enough, caring staff and very knowledgeable, they helped me find a new food for my dogs (they were having tummy trouble with their old food) just so caring and the in town delivery was so helpful for my long hours at work! The owner, Jill, is absolutely amazing. She always special orders dry food for our kitties as we are very picky about what we feed them. All the employees here are down-to-earth and overall lovely people. It's a small store, but they have everything you need and then some. They are a little more expensive than some other places, but 100% worth it as you're supporting a wonderful small and local business. I wouldn't shop anywhere else for pet supplies! #GratefulPaws4Life

Jill is extremely knowledgeable and it shows. This is by far the best place to do doggy daycare, board your dog, self wash, groom and buy food/supplies.You can be confident your pup is being well looked after (a person is on premise 24 hours for all boarder's). That the food is healthy, safe and tasty. Any accessories or toys are well researched and safe for your animal.The prices are also extremely reasonable for the high level of quality and service you getting.

I’ve been taking my dog to daycare across several cities in two states for almost 10 years, all of which have a “meet and greet” requirement, however none as strict and unwelcoming as Grateful Paws. I’m accustomed to being told that the pup’s first day is considered a trial period and that is when their behavior and fitness for daycare is evaluated. This place requires a completely separate appointment for a one hour meet and greet before your first day. Not very accommodating considering they’re located in a mountain town. Not industry standard. Will not use in the future. Mountain Dogs Romp and Chomp was much more helpful!

Jill (the owner) is both a people person, and a pet person and is extremely easy to work with and talk to. If your pet has a special need or a dietary restriction, this is your place. Jill offers a wide variety of dog and cat foods, all of them being of the highest quality, thoroughly researched, and probably used on her own pets as well. If you have a speficic brand you like, Jill can tell you all about it, and order it for you for a competitive price. We love Leadville, and we love Grateful Paws!

So grateful for Grateful Paws! Our puppy rolled herself in a cow patty while we were hiking around the Arkansas and we had nothing to clean her up with. The dog wash at GP was an absolute god send and saved our trip! The dog wash provided everything we needed and even had some “perfume” and cleaning wipes for sale to give our puppy maximum freshness. THANK YOU!!

Didn’t get to experience dropping my dog off here. Essentially you have to be in town for two days to have your dog attend day care because the one hour trial might “overwhelm” you dog or the dogs there so they can’t stay that day. The staff was nice enough but just not a useful daycare if you’re visiting for the weekend.

Small yet has a great selection of high quality food and treats. I got some great venison and wild boar jerky and also some CBD for dog. I share the cbd with him and this is the first bottle that actually tastes like it’s pure. The owner is very helpful.

LOVE the self service dog wash! As the owner of a German Shepard it’s nice to take all the mess of washing him somewhere else lol. They also have a great selection of quality dog treats and food. I’m super impressed and will be back :)
