I absolutely love the produce and the dell's Italian subs are delicious, bread so fresh and soft and the price can't be beat at 7.99 for a large sub.

Basic Safeway. The flies everywhere are an annoyance. While well stocked , it would really be nice to have a larger organic fruit and vegetable section. Staff are always very helpful and fun to talk with. The Pharmacy staff are also worth mentioning. Diane and her co-technician...I don't recall her name...particularly stand out for their knowledge and personability.

The amount of Clerks could be larger but as far as service goes, they do pretty good. The store is always clean and their stock is always fronted and very seldom are they out of anything.

I love this store. Employees are very nice and completely patient. If not try hey act very well.lol. The store is very clean not a lot of basket blocking iles like Walmart. It's a great store. Only thing I could say to hey need help on is the booth. Everytime you go, you might as sit back it's going to take awhile before you get waited on, always apologies. But still..

Never enough cashiers good selections, but too expensive on most things. 74.00 for 3 crab legs? Nope. And the men's bathroom hasn't been fully working for years and years. Evidently King Soopers is t as great as they think.

Nice, clean store. Friendly staff. Safeway is Safeway no matter where you go. I recently relocated from AZ to Colorado. I get the same service here that I got there. This store doesn't carry all the variety that my more populous AZ store did, but they are willing to try to get anything I need. Who wouldn't like that!

We have the most caring and positive Pharmacy in Lamar, Colorado. Thank you Casey, Ben, Lady Diana and Princess Diana for taking such wonderful care of my daughter before and after her surgery this last week. And I'm not just saying this because I'm your coworker you give this same dedication to all our customers. I'm very proud to be a part of this amazing team!

Its 10 times better than walmart. At least i don't feel stereotyped there. The cashiers are friendly. Customer service could do alot better. Not sure if they need more training but if your in a area thats not as diverse then you should educate yourself on how to treat customers of different "back grounds".

Several items were out of date far past their expiration date. The butcher in the back was extremely rude. The only good experience was the lady working in the bakery and the deli they were very nice.. you will be hearing from corporate trust me.

Ordered a birthday cake last minute and the bakery did an incredible job. The cake was beautiful and tasted amazing. The associates in this store are also helpful and polite.

This Safeway store is always busy, but well maintained, and lots of friendly people who work there.The produce section always has fresh vegetables, the meat section is always well stocked with delicious looking meats.The bakery and deli are wonderful, and the pharmacy is friendly and very helpful.On a 1-10 scale.....they hit all 10!Way to go Safeway in Lamar, Colorado.

First time in Safeway in over 28 years. People are friendly. Looks like the store has got smaller since I last recall. I live in Texas where their sister store Tom Thumb is the main grocery store. Overall, great place. Hope to visit more Safeway's.

The meat dept is bare AGAIN. Missing roasts, types of streaks...It takes 2-3 trips just to get the meat I need. Hit and miss if they even have meat out. I started going to Reymans in Holly. Reymans have great meat, great prices and are always stocked and I can buy all my meat in one trip!

Best place to shop for groceries in town. Their produce is so much better and fresher than Walmart's, their prices are great, and they have better sales. Plus I earn gas points that we use when we go to Denver and fill up on gas. Also I think they are run really well, I sometimes see managers helping out with stock and they also are willing to help customers. I love going Safeway.

This Safeway is crazy expensive, I have shopped here a few times but the meat selection is always bad and so over priced. The fresh vegetables are good tho. I just wish they would fix the prices.

A lot of the prices are higher than Walmart but I live in Cheyenne Wells and the grocery store here is way more expensive than that so if I can't make it to Walmart and they don't have it at the Dollar general that's been open for a year then I go to Burlington to Safeway.

Tried to buy a pack of Marlboros but she couldn't find them. Owners pay attention to your employees being too lazy to find what the customer is asking for. This was April 18th around 8:30am.Also when I got home the bag of frozen pancakes were open inside the box. That goes in the trash. I won't be shopping here anymore.To whoever responded: oh you are going to tell the neck-tatoo manager who was too lazy to find my cigarettes 😆🤔

You ALWAYS have to watch the dates on the food here. I have found things on their shelves that were way out of date. That being said, the staff is always friendly here, and if you download the just for you app, you can get some great deals. Whenever I go to Lamar, I always end up going to Safeway & Walmart, because one or the other will be out of what I need. Walmart is worse than Safeway in my opinion. Staff is not friendly or helpful.
