Clean facility, friendly, professional staff. Our vet tech Jasper was very thorough going over our history as new clients before we met with the Dr. O'Connell. The doctor made sure to cover everything and answered all of our questions as well as making a few suggestions specific to our new location. Credit cards have an add-on fee of 2%, but checks are for the face amount. Cash is accepted, but only for the exact amount. They also provide Jefferson County dog licenses.

They really care about your animal. Had a different "corporate" place say they needed to do a very expensive surgery on my cat and didn't seem to care at all... But here they took very good care of him and did only what was need while treating him very well. Thank you for taking care of Ajani!

I never left a review while I lived in the area and was using them. I've had a weird experience at a vet where I live now which shows me how good Kipling Veterinary Hospital actually is. It's been about 5 years since I've been there, so this review is based on my experience between 2009 and 2019. I would definitely recommend them.

Kipling Veterinary is a great place! You can tell they really care about the animals. They will answer any questions you may have even if they seem repetitive or common sense. They did great dental work on my dog and cared about her healing every step of the way.

Very nice vet practice. My dog gets vaccines here regularly, wellness visits, and boards when we go out of town. All the staff seem to genuinely love taking care of the animals, I never have to worry about my dog when I am away. If you need a reliable vet in this area I would definitely recommend!

This place is amazing! They know my dog Luna personally, and were able to get her in when she had a really bad cough even though they were busy. They have provided the best information and care for my dog!

The doctors at Kipling Veterinary Hospital are amazing. We’ve been bringing out cats there for 5 years and continue to make the trip even after moving half an hour away. They are warm, knowledgeable, and care deeply for our furry boys. We couldn’t be more grateful for everything they’ve done for us over the years.

I question if this is an actual vet. Visited due to a reactive dog becoming aggressive, rather than more anxious with age. We were told that there are no other options besides a local trainer who was ridiculously priced. Upon visiting another local office, we were given a full packet of information about anxiety, aggression, and reactivity in dogs and included eight different options we could employ to try and help our dog in whatever ways possible before turning to a drug program to help subdue our dogs aggressive tendencies as a last resort. This office just didn't want to put the effort into our dog and instead tried to push us off onto someone else. If you're looking for a new vet in the area, I can say with certainty your animal will get more care and personalized treatment elsewhere.

This was my first experience with this Vet's office. The nurse was amazing with my cat, she was kind and sweet towards her, put us both at ease. The Vet was incredibly nice and seems to really care about our pet's wellness. The staff made an unpleasant experience a lot easier and it's highly appreciated

Very pleasant. Employees were happy to help me with my 13 yr old cat. They were ok with me not having a crate, considering my old kitty Luck, has never used one. Getting old has made my Luck Luck lose about 8lbs. He's normally the first one to the feed bowls in the last one to leave my poor old man's not getting around as much as he used to and I took him in for a wellness check the veterinary was wonderful and very nice very soothing I do appreciate all their help but I believe that he may just have to go quietly at home.

Sadly, our Pomeranian recently passed away, he was 15. But, I wanted to thank the staff and vets at Kipling Animal Hospital for extending his life by years. The Veterinarians that work here are undoubtedly Superwomen! I don't know how or why they are so good at their jobs, I'm just happy to have found them! Thank you.

My wife and I recently adopted a dog and we were looking for our first veterinarian and we were not disappointed! Doctor Mackenzie and her staff were very friendly and very helpful. Everyone from the front desk staff to the vets are so helpful and friendly. My pup is definitely a handful and they show him all the love! He kept trying to nose through the backdoor of the exam room, so they gave him a little tour and let him smell everything:) So happy to find these guys!

Tawna, the office manager, kindly got us in to the next available appointment. The office and the staff is everything one could hope for in a veterinary clinic. Kipling Veterinary Hospital has always been reliable and trusted with my dogs needs in the past. On June 12th, the Veterinarian recommended a complete blood test along with the normal checkup. I of course a agreed. Today, July 3rd my dog was scheduled to get his annual shots and the Veterinarian insisted that I would have to pay for the wellness check again. Absolutely price gauging a loyal customer. I just scheduled my dogs shots with Vetco for $85, compared to the $180 Kipling Vet Hospital is trying to charge. Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere.

Smart, available, and friendly. We drive 25 minutes out of our way for this vet practice because we haven't found anyone as good. Our cats especially like them, but they've been good to our dog, too.

Vet charges way different prices than was originally told, then when i speak to the staff about it. The vet states thats whats due and theres nothing I can do. Yeah there is I'm not going to them anymore. I was going to them for our puppy who is 4 months old, was also told he had his rabies shot and that was the last one for a year, now im being told he needs two more shots every two weeks. The vet couldnt even decipher his proper age. 2 weeks ago he was 4months old now the vet states he is 6 months old. They charge you without even talking to you first. They charged me for a wellness exam when he just had one done 2 weeks ago and I didn't get charged then. So a rabies shot and wellness exam costs $92 and i wasn't even told i was going to be charged that. 2 weeks ago I was told all his next visit was going to be was $29 now I'm being asked to pay $92 for a wellness exam that wasnt notified to me about and a rabies shot. Well guess what I'm not paying it because i refuse to pay the $62 and I'm going elsewhere for service. The vet also said in 2 weeks they are going to draw my dogs blood, once again i didnt state I wanted this service. Kipling vet you guys no longer have my service. Im finding a new vet. Get your stuff figured out, please, for your clients because im not one of yours anymore.****As an add on to the owner who just replied, yes your records to my charges do tell a different story because why wouldnt it, you guys are a business and feel the need to do whatever youd like. I get it now. I also have spoken to others about your office who are clearly staying away due to what has been told to them. Call it slander and what you will but by your response as the owner tells me you took my comment from a personal standpoint and not business. Real professional. Yes my dog has been taken care of, by another vet. Thank you very much!!!

I could not get into see my regular vet and went here twice. After dropping $400 on 2 visits, 3 tubes of medicine, and few results, I called my vet back home. She said the medicine they gave me was not used to treat the condition my cats have and that they wasted my time and money. The vets were wonderful people and the experience was top-notch but I don't believe they prescribed the proper medications for me and that is a huge problem. I have been dealing with ringworm for 2 months now. Because they gave me medicine that did not work, I went from one infected kitten to 5 infected cats.

I started taking my dog here right after I got her. She loves all of the staff, even gets excited (what dog does this?! 😅) when we are there. They are friendly and seem to genuinely care. They've helped us through puppy/kennel illness' to treating her torn pads, from rough play at the park 🐶

I have taken my pets to other clinics in the past, and I can tell you I will only be using Kipling Vet Hospital for my animals needs in the future. They were very informative. They clearly explained all treatment processes. I felt like they were giving my pets the same care they would give their own - would recommend to anyone with an animal in need!

Fully trust the staff's capability and care for our dogs. However, they are still mandating masks for fully-vaxed people 2 months after the statewide mandate was lifted...so do we trust the science or don't we?

My dog broke two of his rear claws early this a.m. He was bleeding and in a lot of pain. Our regular vet is closed Monday, but Kipling Vet is open at 7 a.m. They got us in by 9, I'm sitting here as I write this. Everyone has been great and my big buddy is getting fixed up as we speak.Looking at these other bad reviews I'm wondering if maybe they had a bad receptionist here at one point or are maybe being confused for another vet. Amy at the front desk and Dr. Jill are as good as it gets, without a doubt.Actually ended up calling initially based on the referral of our neighbors.
