Very chill and laid back atmosphere with some traditional, gluten-reduced, and gluten-free beers. Dog friendly inside and out. There is also a park really close by. Worth a stop if you are in this part of Denver!

Trivia technical difficulties to start, but resolved and we were off and running. Good vanilla stout and good vibes.

Great tasting beers and the staff was super friendly! I love many people brought in their dogs while we were there.

Got the Tailwaters Hazy IPA and it is damn flat (basically drinking a beer water) and zero grapefruit flavor as it says on the card. Although it is a gluten reduced/free space which is a good offering, the taste for me just missed the mark. The 2 stars were for kind staff and air conditioning lol

The worker was very friendly and helpful. She offered us samples when we told her we had not been there before. She also check that we like the beers we decided to go with. They have a nice selection of different brews. The place is nice and clean, with a small patio in front.

Excellent brewery! Very relaxed space with wonderful employees who make you feel like you are part of the family. Good beer selection and DOG FRIENDLY! Well behaved pups are welcome inside and on patio. So worth the visit. They also usually have decent food trucks on the weekend and a fun trivia night on Thursdays! Highly recommend :)

My favorite local brewery. Their Mexican Lager is top notch and have a great selection of beers that run the gambit. This is a great place to meet with friend and have quality beer. They know what they are doing.

Pros: dog friendly, kind bartenderCons: beer was awful. The blonde Annie and hazy ipa were some of the worst beers I’ve had in Denver.

I really enjoy the darker beers here. The milk stout they just added is wonderfully smooth. And the Willy's Irish Red Mustache is so refreshing after a long run or a day in the sun. Almost all of the beers are gluten reduced which is good for me. Owner Mike is super nice, has taken me and others I am with on a quick tour of the tanks. Pretty laid back place. Can't wait for Covid is over so we can sit and hang and play games like we used to.

Great Frontier has been our go-to local brewery for years. It's a small place but punches above it's weight - I highly recommend the Mexican Lager and Lithuanian Ale. Very relaxed, very friendly, and a great place to dog spot.

We had a small wedding close by and were looking for something local but still delicious for beer at our wedding. Great Frontier had many great flavors to choose from, and we ended up going with their Mexican lager and IPA. They helped set up and were a great help to us that night. Both kegs were pretty much empty at the end of the night.

Great to have a brewery in this area - walkable from our house. Friendly owners and good atmosphere. Beer was tasty, my only suggestion would be that while it is great to offer gluten-free, many of us love our beer 'full throttle" so could use a few more "regular" beer options. Since they have not been open that long, I expect their variety will change a bit as they roll along. Another suggestion would be to lure a food truck once the weather is amenable next spring.

Very good place. Great selection of gluten free/reduced gluten beers plus specialty brews that changes from time to time. Reduced price days on growlers and crowlers, check web site. Staff are ALWAYS friendly, can order food and bring in or food trucks on certain days. Dog and kid friendly!

Great Frontier is my neighborhood brewery. Pre COVID I loved Trivia night, and their dog friendliness makes it a community favorite. Their gluten free/reduced menu makes it worth the trip if you’re drinking is restricted. The food trucks have been hit or miss, so harder to make it a dinner spot. I wish the outdoor area was bigger, but the garage doors make it nice multi-season spot.

Good, basic beers. No going overboard on the beers. Straight to the point. Cool thing: they have beer specific "fruit shots" you can add to any beers. Like blackberry, blood orange, coconut and more. Good place

I love the fruit pump you can add to any beer, I usually add mango and guava to a cream ale. Maybe orange or grapefruit to an IPA. Super chill, we take food in, bring dogs and kids and everyone is welcomed and relaxed. We had a small birthday party here also and it was a perfect location! All the guests just did their own individual tabs. So easy!

Definitely a nice place to enjoy a beer, but with so many other great breweries in the area, I'd rather go elsewhere. Many of the beers are gluten free or reduced, and those that aren't don't have great flavor either.Potentially 5 stars if you have Celiac disease... Or are under the illusion that gluten free = healthy

Cool hangout spot to have a beer, and family and dog friendly, so you can bring Jr. and Fido too.. Beer selection is small, but good including a GABF medal winner from a couple of years ago. The space is open and large enough so that it doesn't feel crowded even when it is, BUT as with most breweries -their food is limited to pizza delivery or their food truck. So far I haven't loved any of their food trucks. It would be nice if they offered some kind of snack food at the bar.Make sure you eat before you go.

The space is really nice but the beer is sub-par in my opinion. I have gone 3 times I believe and the first visit was pretty bad with a ton of off flavors in all of their beers. I have gone more recently and it seems to have improved but is still kind of meh. The gluten free offerings are undrinkable in my opinion. Lakewood needs quality beer so I am hoping they improve and start to add some more interesting styles that are well made.UPDATE:Went again recently and got a flight. The regular ipa was well below average, the seasonal ipa was close to undrinkable, and two lagers tasted like decent home brew. Very disappointed in this place....

What an amazing experience we had! They have Lithuanian beer and it’s so delicious, we actually bought some to bring to our relatives out of state. The owner is very nice and friendly!! We will definitely be coming back some time soon! 💯

This is a very friendly little local brewery! In addition to great microbrews, they also have gluten free and gluten reduced beer. The staff is very nice and attentive, and lots of people from around the neighborhood go here regularly.

Pretty decent beer and nice taproom. Has some outside seating that's probably nice in the summer.Although I'm not gluten free, I like seeing options where people that are, can enjoy a beer.

Staff are so friendly, you'd think you're in Minnesota! But you're not! This is a very nice brewery to visit when in the south Denver area. There is a very nice hefeweissen and several other tasty beers brewed here.

A nice brewery to just sit and have a good time with the bartender or others! Very friendly and dog friendly. Bring those doggos right inside. Definitely worth a visit or maybe two!

I must admit, I had absolutely no idea this place existed. I'm in the area a lot, and had zero, nada, zilch idea about it.That changed with a Groupon in my email a few months back. Two flights and a take-home Growler (which, contrary to seemingly-popular belief, was obviously not going to be filled).I brought my Dad in for some hockey-watching and beer. We originally intended to just have a flight each and head out to dinner. We got our flights and our empty growler, and settled in. They had Food Network on in their tap room, and I asked the owner to change the station, and he happily obliged, and then turned the sound up a bit.The beers are wonderful! Refreshing, decently unique, and each one was different. Far too often, all the beers at a brewery seem to taste the same, but the beers here did not.I like how they serve their flights: instead of a usual paddle or tray with the glasses balancing on top, they took a curved edge of a barrel, drilled holes, and put the glasses through. As their glasses sort of flare near the top, you can put four glasses through the holes and carry the entire flight without that awkward slow walk you must take with full glasses, so as to not spill them. I like that a lot.The taproom is smaller than most, but pretty comfy. They have a sitting area with large, cushioned chairs near the entrance, a half dozen hard table tops with chairs, larger bar tables with stools, and a half dozen chairs at the bar. A huge window in the wall shows the brewroom. The staff is crazy nice. We had the owner and the headbrewer serving us beers. My Dad tends to ask a lot of questions and chat up a storm, and they were both happily involved and eager to spend a couple hours talking. They have a constant rotation of food trucks in their lot, next to a small patio. That's nice, as the food options in the immediate vicinity are...a bit lacking.I am really happy this place is nearby. I will certainly be back!

This brewery offers much needed relief in beer-poor Lakewood. It features a clean, beautiful space with a couple of flatscreens, couches, and board games and isn't overly crowded on game days. No food is served beyond pre-packaged peanuts and chips, but they do have high quality food trucks come by regularly. For beer, they specialize in the gluten free niche, alongside traditional gluten-positive alternatives. Overall, the beer includes solid session ales, with nothing too out there and nothing over 6.5%. I would like to fill a growler regularly to support this local business, but the $16 fill-up price puts it out of reach.

My family and I have come here many times and I am consistently impressed. The staff is friendly and you are treated like family. It is low key and the environment encourages you to relax and take a load off. I could not recommend Great Frontier more highly.
