Great prices, large selection. This is one of the best places to buy freshwater tropical fish in denver. Located one block east of Wadsworth. Great fancy goldfish selection. New inventory around the first part of the month. There's no better place for good fish and koi. Very friendly and helpful owner.

I was super excited to see people saying that the owners were kind and helpful, but when I came in looking for advice on setting up a new tank, the woman working was incredibly rude and dismissive. I explained politely that I'm new to the hobby and would love advice on setting up and keeping a community tank, and rather than helping she immediately told me to "do my own research, i cant help you". Ive done plenty of research, but wanted advice from someone experienced. I will not be returning and I would not recommend visiting this poorly set up, badly staffed store.

Wonderful experience everytime we come in this place of wonder. We are like kids in a candy shop. Mrs Julie is the master at what she does. I respect her like a mother honor her like a queen. Best place of wonder ,shes a God when it comes to fish . Your fish will never expire before there time like at pets smart or pet co. Be mindful and listen to her she's has great advice and experience on fish 🐠 of all kind.

One of the best stores in Denver metro area! Julie the owner is knowledgeable, reasonable, helpful, straight forward, and kind. The store is always clean and in good condition. She always has more unique selections of fish available compared to other LFS in town. The fish are in pretty great shape as well. Very neat cichlids, angels, discus, goldfish, eels, bettas, and other oddballs available here. Easy to get in and out of parking lot. Great fish store!

After shopping around the metro area for discus I chose to purchase from Golden Fish because the stock was large to chose from and looked the healthiest out of the 4 stores I went to as well as the price was better too. The owner was very knowledgeable and was able to help set me up with the best way to care for them in my 75g community tank.

If you are looking for cichlids in the metro area this is the place to get them. My entire 75 gallon tank is stocked with fish from here and they are healthy, beautiful, and unique. Anytime I need help the owner is willing to problem solve with me and make sure my fish are remaining awesome.

This place is awesome there are so many cool varieties of fish. The woman working was very knowledgeable and helpful. So excited about our new electric yellow cichlids! I wish I could give her 10 stars. Her fish are amazing, but more importantly, she is knowledgeable and willing to teach. She was polite, and very attentive. She educated us about the amazing fish she has, and is HALF THE PRICE of a normal fish store. (specifically discus cichlids)She has lots and lots of fish, but the ones that most impressed me were the coy, angel fish and discus.********12/15/20She is STILL awesome

This fish store was very convenient. I don't have a saltwater tank, but luckily for me, this store is filled with freshwater. As far as I know she doesn't have saltwater. The lady at the counter was very quick to help me with any questions and she was very helpful in showing me the fish I was looking for. She also didn't hesitate in giving me fish keeping tips. I will definitely go back to this store for my next fish. This round I got 2 happy and healthy gouramis and I am looking forward to my next purchase at the store.

I was really impressed with the store and the owner. The store had a very good selection of fish and all the tanks were clean and the fish looked really healthy. I have been buying fish from stores like petsmart and petco for years but I will never go back. The owner and employees take such wonderful care of their fish and my Oranda goldfish that I bought there is still healthy and has had no health issues, which I have dealt with a lot in the past from other stores. They have an amazing selection of goldfish and I could not be happier with my fish and the store!Update***My goldfish I bought here more than 2 years ago is still alive and so big now :) I am still happy with my service and goldfish from this store!

Have been shopping this store for 20 years. Best selection of exotics and cichlids in Denver area. Healthy, gorgeous fish from friendly and honest owner. Don’t judge store by the location - it is open noon to 5 and area is safe as any in Denver during those times. Support small business and visit just to see what you’re missing in your tank. I can’t even stop by without finding something I have to have.
