The lady that helped me on my way in was very helpful and knew exactly where what I was looking for was. That is a nice change of pace from most ace harwares.My only critique is that they don't have bags, especially when I bought a ton of little items a bag would have been nice. And if they do offer bags it would've been nice to be offered one by the cashier as I was struggling to carry everything on my way out

I love this Ace Hardware.I give them 5 stars for their Wall of Shame!They post photos of shoplifters on a display area outside the front of their store!This is so old school - but I LOVE it.Back in the day - this is how our society dealt with bad check writers, etc.It is about time these criminals experience some kind of negative social consequence for their antisocial behavior.We as consumers are paying higher prices for our consumer goods - because businesses increase their retail prices to cover their losses due to theft.

Love this store. All the associates are so helpful. Need a Stihl product ask Jacob he’s super knowledgeable, need plumbing help ask JJ he’s like a pro or something, want the perfect grill mark is your guy. This store has taken great effort in training their staff and I will definitely be going there again!! The best part is you end your trip with a nice cashier Rachel was nice, I didn’t have an ace rewards but she did offer me one.Wish I could give you 10 stars. Google only allows 5 thoHad to edit my review I forgot to add Sal the man of hardware he knows where everything is which is crazy helpful and helped me get all the screws I needed to get my project done!

Fantastic service. Last weekend I brought in a pair of very old faucet valves for which there are no replacements. I had bent one getting it out of the wall. Sal offered to clean them up and fix the bend. He also suggested I replace the worn washers. Thanks to Sal I was able to reinstall the valves and fix the drip. Thank you Sal and Ace Hardware!

I was there on 1-16-24 and this guy I call him the wizard (don't recall his name) helped me so much. He answered all my questions and really listened to myconcerns. He gave me some good advice and was attentive to my needs. He's a great guy that wizard of yours. Hang on to him!!

Horrible customer service by the owner Dan and his manager Vanessa. This store sold me a snow blower that had been used one time and one year later doesn’t work at all. They do not stand by their products and wouldn’t do anything at all to help, in fact treated us quite rudely! Vanessa even lied and told the owner I was causing a scene and she told me to calm down which is completely not true. What really happened is she told me to research my product next time I buy and I told her I should research Ace Hardware next time I buy.If you insist at buying at Ace Hardware, take your business to the one in highlands ranch. They seem to be willing to help and were willing to exchange the inoperable snow blower for another before finding out it was bought at the store at Jewell and Wadsworth. Now I’m stuck w a $600 paperweight. Thank you Dan!

THIEF THIEF!!!!!! I have been frequetting the Ace Hardware on jewel and Wadsworth for a number of years... Was my go to place for hard to find items until today... I found the item that I was searching for, And I had to locate an employee to get it for me... Once he retrieved the product he told me I could pick it up at the counter, I explained to him that I had more shopping to do.... He told me he needed to make sure the item got paid for,,, I was shocked to say the least..... I understand there may be a shoplifting party but you're going to profile everybody in your store...... I'm done with all acadress sticked where the sun don't shine.......

Both of the people i asked for help were knowledgeable. The second associate named the exact aisle and placement in the aisle of the exact product. I was very impressed. I love the variety of stock and the helpfulness. This is a great store.

Ace is the place! I love this store!Very well laid out, very helpful/friendly staff, lots of cool stuff in the checkout line (if you're an impulse shopper - BEWARE - you're going to buy something that you didn't come in for).Overall...They have nearly everything you need (hardware and garden wise - including a great selection of wild bird food - if you're into that sort of thing).

This place was so nice. I grabbed the wrong part twice even and they didn't even think twice about switching me out and helping get the right one. Ace was definitely the place with the helpful hardware people

Will not be shopping here again. Went in to purchase a socket adapter. Asked individual working there if they could unlock the device on the shelf so I could get it. Then proceeded to tell me they have to walk it up to the counter. Takes it to cashier and lets her know it's for me with customers standing there checking out looking at me like I'm a thief. I purchased a $10 part and your employee decided I didn't look respectable enough to walk it up to and pay for it myself. You have lost my business. I should have spoke to manager at the time, but I was in the middle of something I needed to get back to. I wish I could give this review negative stars, but google wont let me. If I treated my customer like that I would be out of a job.

I had a key made here. Guy, Vanessa, and Izzy were each very helpful. Guy cut a perfect key, Vanessa was knowledgeable of prices and very friendly, and Izzy provided great customer service upon checkout. All were very kind. Thank you.

Service was much better, this visit, need to have a screen redone, asked an associate, they pointed me to service counter, no one there, working out back, but someone looked and saw me at counter, the gentleman was very helpful and gave me options.You have to pay for rescreening before they do the work, one cashier had a customer, I was 3 up. The cashier was attentive to the customer at the counter, so much so I was impressed and expected to have a good checkout experience also. He rang the receipt, asked me if I was a member,Once the receipt came out I waited a pause for the same service he had given the previous 2 customers. I finally said thank you and left. I go all the way to the Green Mountain ACE, to avoid this type of service.Products are the same supplied by ACE, The only way a store can stand out is service. This store is better, but has a ways to go. The cashier closes the deal.

Ed and his crew were extremely helpful in getting me setup with a pellet smoker after another store transferred the one I ordered for curbside pickup to another store. Guy even made a special delivery outside of the normal delivery area to make sure I would be smoking later that day. Thank you!

Quite unfortunate that %85 of the merchandise has a store lock on it so you need assistance to get it off the shelf and then ushered to the front. There has to be a better way. Makes for a terrible experience.

Great ACE for all the tools and widgets you might need around the house. They make copies of keys when you need it... sometimes checking out there is a bit of a wait.... the staff is always very courteous... finally they sell bundles of firewood for $4.80 which is cheaper than King Soopers.

The staff here can be helpful however it feels uncomfortable walking in and seems as though they are very judgemental by appearance. I've been there while working on a car and have grease on my pants and they will follow me as if I'm going to steel something and I've heard them mention it not knowing I was an aisle or two over.

Went there looking for interior paint. All the gallons were anywhere from $40-100, but found out later they keep normal priced cans (20-30) on top shelf without price points. Cool.

I usually like this Ace but they did me wrong today.Went to buy a timer switch and it was listed as 22.99 but a red sale tag said was available for 9.99. Along with several other items I noticed were "on sale". Seems like a good deal. Picked it up and at register it came up for 22.99. I called it out and front register called it to confirm. It was not 9.99 according to help over radio. Strange. I refused item, but hey I can be wrong. So I went back to check where I went wrong. I must have read the wrong item right?When I got back to that aisle, all of the red tags I saw earlier showing "sale" were gone. Not a single red sale tag in the area. So either I hallucinated all the red tags or ace helper pulled all the tags after I called them on it.Now, Maybe those tags were out of date. I don't know, but to just call me a liar and not own up to the mistake and then try to pull a fast tag pull doesn't sit well with me.I will avoid this store at all costs and just goto a home depot in the future.Update Nov. 8 2022Response to Owner(Jim): No, the above details are 100% accurate. There is nothing further to discuss with me. Your team pulled sales tags while I was trying to purchase an item.

I can't say enough good about the employees at Ace. I worked with two: Ken and Dan. Each deserves a 5-star review of his own. My skill level is that of an interested novice. The only plumbing I've ever done is changing faucet washers. I'm at the beginning of a thorough overhaul of every major feature of my home and had questions about removing badly stripped seats from the innards of my faucets. Each of the two I worked with answered questions with expertise and patience. The job is now done and I'm very pleased with how it turned out. The differences between Ace and the larger hardware stores are that it is easy to find someone to help, the person you find will have solid expertise, the next time you go to the store you can find that person again, and the products they sell are of noticeable high quality. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Super helpful staff but all these Ace Hardware stores stock their dimmest bulbs behind the registers. Today I came up to the counter and unloaded about twenty items from my basket; the cashier starts ringing them up as I'm distracted with finding my $15-off-a-$75-purchase coupon, which I find just as he's finishing up. He scans the coupon, gives me the total and I pay with my card. I then notice how all my stuff is still scattered across the counter and he's just looking at me through pot-lidded eyes. I ask him if I could get all these items bagged up please. "Oh, that's ten cents." Of course I forgot about the new regressive tax recently imposed on us Coloradans. But he didn't forget. Rather, he must have assumed I was just going to carry all twenty-ish or so items in my arms out the door; maybe put a few of the smaller ones in my pockets, balance the biggest one on my head like an African water-carrier, perhaps carry the 27' ratchet strap I had just bought between my teeth.I had no cash on me, but – miraculously – I was doing laundry this morning and found a single, lonesome dime in a pair of jeans, which I had absently put it in my pocket. Otherwise I'm sure I would have been running my card again to pay for that solitary, flimsy plastic bag that ultimately could not hold more than half of what I had purchased. Normally I would have said or done something to illustrate the banal idiocy of this stoned and mush-brained Gen-Z'er. But it's weird how, on occasion, someone else's stupidity can become momentarily contagious towards the one against whom the stupidity is directed. And so, rather than make a biting comment or commit some act of ironic retribution, I instead thanked him and managed to carry the rest of my purchases, and a surprisingly meaty scrap of my remaining dignity, out to the car without incident.

Been living in the area for the past year and I stop in and buy things here and there. I also received a Military Veteran discount of 10% like all other Ace Hardware stores from Long Island, NY to even the one in Littleton. Yet I went in there yesterday and ask for a Military discount the cashier said no you have to be an Ace rewards member to receive a discount. So I bought what I needed at full price. For that I will not be going back to this store I will stick to the big box store of Lowe’s no matter what I get my well earned Veteran discount.
