Friendly service, but quality has been poor. Seems to be an attention to detail problem.Quality issues I've experienced... Recently noticed I was unknowingly charged for an extended warranty on a repair. I can count the extended warranties I've purchased in my lifetime on two fingers, and this was definitely not one of them. Definitely bad on me to miss this when I paid, but also, it's nice to trust you're not being overcharged. A couple more recent issues are the wrong oil used for an oil change and the invoice for different oil change having the wrong vehicle mileage reported. Sure, I could have put more effort into following up with the shop to correct these issues, but I guess I'm just the type of picky customer who likes to not have issues to begin with.I did notice a few recent 5-star reviews. My last experience was in November of 2023. Not sure if ownership/management/things have changed since I was last in.

I’ve had good experiences here with oil changes and tire-related services, but today’s experience was exceptional: Josiah took the time to help out when I discovered that a squirrel had nested (and, sadly, somehow perished) in my engine. He thoroughly checked to make sure that other areas of the car were clear of critters and that no further damage had been done. Sending out a big thank you to Josiah for excellent customer service!

Beth helped me out when I was blew out my tire unexpectedly. She was so awesome and went and personally got the tires I needed and got my car fixed in no-time! She was super nice even when I was flustered and stressed, and helped me along patiently. It's incredibly refreshing finding kind and honest folks that can help in situations like this, and they knocked it out of the park!

They went above and beyond when servicing my vehicle. By far the best auto service I have ever experienced. They were extremely patient with my rambunctious child while in the waiting room. Incredibly friendly and hardworking staff. I highly recommend 10/10.

The front staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the technician was willing to answer questions and provide information about exactly what work they were doing on the car. The wait was unfortunately long due to a requirement for specific parts, but they got the correct ones while I was there. And best of all, the car actually runs smoother thanks to the tuneup.

Beth, Leonard, and the rest of the team were absolutely amazing! I came in for a tire repair and installation and unfortunately couldn’t get it done since they were running behind. She was able to fit me in the next day and the tire was already good to go when I got there! They even filled up the rest of my tires since they were low on air without me saying anything; 5 star service across the board!

I found a shard of metal sticking out of my left rear tire, around 6:15pm while running errands. I showed up to Pep Boys a few minutes later. Even though they were about to close up shop, they were kind and courteous enough to not only remove the shard, but they looked at each tire to check for any leaks.Very satisfied with the service here.

Lafayette , CO Pep Boys is run by very incompetent staff. I was charged for a front end alignment and was told to reschedule twice which I did and then the 3rd time was told they could not do the front end alignment on my vehicle because their machine wasn't equipped for my model. The manager was very rude to me and they had already charged me for the alignment and he said I could not get my credit because he didn't have the capability to do. Then he said that Corporate had to do the refund. After I complained again he threatened to call the Police and for me being disruptive...I left and will be contacting corporate tomorrow Monday to speak with them if they don't call me first.

Had a brake warning light pop up and needed to get in somewhere straightaway to have it looked at. Pep Boys was the nearest shop I felt I could drive to safely. They got me in a bay right away and identified the issue. While we waited for parts, I hung out with employee Beth at the front desk. She did a great job of keeping me in the loop and just making me feel comfortable in between doing her job. And now I'm back on the road!

I took my car in for an “engine fault- service now” alarm in my dashboard. Turned out it was an electrical issue that was easily fixed. They did a whole inspection in my car and fixed it at no charge. Very nice people.

My check engine light code indicated a defective thermostat . I scheduled an appointment for the following day since my schedule wouldn't allow for the immediate repair . Leonard and Beth got me scheduled . While waiting for my vehicle , I enjoyed a friendly and pleasant atmosphere. The work was completed at a very competitive rate . All the issues have been properly resolved ! Thank You !

Great service from Leonard and his team. Took in my car at noon, although it stayed overnight, they replaced 2 speed sensors, rotated the tires, did an oil cange, replaced filters, and even replaced my driver-side window for a very fair price. They were very communicative.Most car shops will tell you to bring the car in the morning or give you dates a few days away, here you can practially bring it at any time, so if you need urgent work, they can do it!Will definitely be back.

Came in with the need for a battery install (Ford does not make it easy with hiding batteries under a fire-plate) and both Michael and Leonard were wonderfully accomodating and fit me their schedule. fast work, great communications and customer service! Happy to have found and tried this place. Will definately be back for future work needed on my car. highly recommend!

Had a four tire replacement appointment scheduled on the day of the most anticipated snowstorm of the year. Leonard with Pep Boys called me the day before to see if I wanted to move up my appointment so I would be squared away when the snow hit. Pep Boys had my vehicle fixed up in no time.

Super helpful and kind folks working here, they just got a new operating system and it streamlines everything quite nicely. You'll be able to look at any pictures they take of your vehicle and track their progress too. The parking lot is a bit hard to get into but it's real easy if you come from the south side of 287.

Understood my difficult situation and need for the quick return of my vehicle.After identifying the root cause of the problem (I have to this specific PetBoys with this vehicle so they knew my needs. The could get a hold of me and went ahead and ordered the critical parts so there was no delay in repairs after I did approve the $$$.I will continue to take all my vehicles here. I had a good experience with the staff and wait time for my oil change however here I am a mere 6 days later and my low oil light is displaying in my car. I doubt very highly that I received a full 5 quarts of oil in my little Subaru. I hope it was changed at all. Very disappointing.
