Lovely local coffee joint with something for everyone! We got to meet the owner, Chris, who was such a joy.Huge area with lots of seating (inside and out) and creamy coffee in nice dine in cups.Baristas are nice and welcoming and treat every customer with respect, the drinks were made in a very timely fashion.

Hidden gem of the area! Found this place through Google Maps/Reviews as I'd never heard of it before. They always have fun, special rotating drinks! I've had a pistachio rose lavender matcha latte that literally one of the best things I've ever had anywhere. And the Cereal Milk latte was so interesting too! Bright, nice area to work, but lots of the tables are high tops and few outlets for charging. Staff is always super nice! There can be a bit of a wait if they're busy, but reasonably so.

Easily the best espresso in Lafayette. Possibly even boulder county. They have some really impressive special drinks, making syrups in house and just having overall one of the best vibes in town.I had their “tapped sap” oat milk infused cold brew with real maple. 5 days isn’t enough!

One of my favorite cafes in the area!All prices are reasonable & the coffee is great. The staff is always very friendly and kind. The donuts in this picture are not from Otis cafe, they are from Noks Donuts (right next door). This cafe has great snack options as well though, the vegetarian burrito is great. Overall 10/10 here!

We ordered a hot latte and an iced latte with almond milk. Both were tasty and prepared quickly. Flavor-wise I preferred the iced latte - the almond milk added a nice sweetness and the espresso tasted more prominent. But the hot latte was also good. Espresso wasn't bitter and tasted well balanced, but didn't super stand out.Espresso drinks always feel a bit pricey to me, but $5 for the hot latte and $5.75 for the iced latte (both 16oz) is pretty average for these places.

This is my first visit to Proper since they moved. I love the new space! There's plenty of places to sit, which was challenging at the last spot. Yummy bottomless coffee was enjoyed for hours while I worked on my laptop.

One of the best places to get coffee of a great quality. They use their in house coffee for the brew. The place is very spacious which makes it easy to enjoy the drink and work as well. The baristas were so friendly and explained our clarification. The entire coffee shop was filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee. They also had some quick bites like pumpkin bread, croissants, chocolate cakes, bottled water. The matcha which i ordered was of supreme quality.The place was very well maintained. It's a hidden gem I would say. Coffee aficionados please don't miss this beautiful coffee shop!!

I don’t know how I’ve never been to Otis before! I landed here today because of a meeting and it will absolutely be one of my new regular client meeting spots! What a great environment.I love a good seasonal specialty drink and I was excited to see they had some great choices! I got the Sweater Weather and it was sooooo tasty. A hint of orange and spice and just enough creaminess. I highly recommend trying it!

One of the perfect coffees that I would actually travel for is served here. OTIS's iced brown sugar (with house made syrup) oat latte is so perfect and delicious every single time. There are a handful of coffee's I've been served - spread across the country - that I will dream about years from now and this is one of them. The service is always friendly and consistent, and the ambiance great. Grab a donut or breakfast burrito from next door and your day is off to an incredible start!

The new location is gorgeous. The drinks are great WiFi is super fast and it’s never too crowded. I’ll be interested to see how the layout looks and feels once they bring the roaster into the back room. This place has solidified itself as my favorite spot to work or meet colleagues and clients.

Love this place! Great atmosphere with plenty of seating (there's also more seating in the main District marketplace where Otis is located). Awesome spot to work from or even conduct meetings in a relaxed setting. Most important though, the coffee is really good. All baristas working here know what they are doing while also being super friendly and fun.

I have been on a real hunt to find a coffee shop near my boyfriend’s house that makes their syrups in house. After many failings, I finally found Otis and their quality is by far the best! I thoroughly enjoyed my iced mocha and thought the sauce was perfect. There is a nice energy to the space and I’m excited to go back again soon!

I like the spacious, light interior and the fact there is a huge indoor seating area just outside the coffee shop. I miss the sofas (they removed it during recent remodeling). Coffee is a little bit too dark roasted for me, but drinkable and if you like milk in your coffee you will love it (I prefer black).

This place has fantastic coffee, great snacks, and is a perfect place to work.I come here to work in either the coffee shop or the collective's open space and can sip great coffee all day for $5 with their bottomless coffee deal. It's perfect!

Excellent coffee roaster and cafe. I typically order a single origin drip and an espresso. Friendly staff. I'll be back to imbibe the cocktail program.
