This store was full of treasures that I could have taken home, but had to limit myself LOL. The owner was so friendly and the store is roomy and so well laid out. Tucked in a gorgeous area and great little town.

Need some firewood at an excellent price? Look no further. Store merchandise is you basic touristy stuff with a few gems from locals.

The photo shows Dakota Dukes, which has groceries and gifts. The Cuchara Country Store quit selling groceries in 2013. They sell gifts, Dog Bar shirts, candy, art photography and there is a liquor store connected. Nice folks, same owner and staff as the world famous Dog Bar and Grill, which is around the corner.
