My mustang was in need of a transmission so I called Steve's towing because I was told that they could do it all and all the people I asked said they did excellent work and thier prices were more than fair . I had them tow my cay to the shop and they got right to it and was ready for me to pick it up in two days .I was surprised it was ready cause I have used some other shop around and they were all less than satisfactory. Steve's towing is the best around and I will continue to use them for all my cars and trucks

Steve was absolutely amazing. We had a flat 30 minutes east of the Colorado line in Nebraska. He showed up as fast as he could. Was extremely kind & polite. Handled the BMW with care. Extremely impressed by Steve’s Towing & highly highly recommended.

I live on the west coast. I received a call that my sibling had been in an accident—he was 20, and it was his first time far from home. The vehicle was a total salvage after the accident. The tow truck driver refused to take my little brother anywhere besides the motel in town, far from any access to facilities where he could get home safely. No airport, no Uber, no rentals, not a thing.Then, they charged him $300 for the tow of the car, ON TOP of signing the title for the car away.The next day, when I came to get him, we called to ask for plates. They said they would be there to open the gates. We arrived,and no one was there, “because of the storm” (nowhere to be seen), and were told, we could wait 20 minutes, or they could be mailed.It’s so mind boggling to me how they took financial advantage of my little brother—the Lexus WAS the cost of the tow, not anything additional, and they didn’t offer to take the plates off in the first place.The only reason this place is successful is because they’re the only tow truck company in the middle nowhere, and can take advantage of inexperienced drivers who are shell shocked.In case you were wondering, the end of my story? No one ever showed up. 0/5, would not ever recommend.

My husband and I broke down in Chapell, NE.Allstate contacted Steve’s Towing & our driver came to the RV Park that we were staying at in 20 min. He towed our car & trailer to Ogallala. He dropped our trailer at the RV park & the car at the auto mechanics within 45 minutes.He was polite & extremely helpful. Please forgive us for not remembering his name. We do remember that he is from Colorado. You have an amazing employee in this young man. Thank him for helping us. We are forever grateful!

Bad gas in Sterling,CO left us stranded on the side of the road just outside of Julesburg. They picked us up quickly, repaired the issues in just a few hours, and we were back on the road again. Friendly staff. Quality service at a fair price. Highly recommend!

It was great service. The driver was a hard worker in setting up, loading antique WW2 Army ambulance. And then transfering it to my trailers upper deck. Slow, easy and perfect. Awesome people! We were traveling from Lincoln ti Denver and tire started to go flat around the I-80/I-76 merge. Threw the spare on and drove there and they had us back on the road in 20-30 minutes. Very friendly staff!!Service: Tire change

I picked up this trailer after another driver had ignored a tire that was completely worn down. The truck stop shops and other shops in the area were about 5 hour wait to get my spare tire put on my trailer. These guys were out on a couple tow calls so once they got back they got me fixed up right away so I can continue this load to San Diego. It also was very fair priced as I’ve had spares put on on the road before and cost me double or triple what they charged. And those weren’t even road calls. So if I’m ever in the area and need a spare put on this will be my first call. The couple employees I interacted with were nice and they have a sweet dog in the office that is very friendly and cute.

Showed up on a Sunday with a check engine light on. Called the mechanic Cole and he showed up within 10 minutes. He was very knowledgeable and helped us get back on the road right away. Amazing service, would definitely recommend!

Steve came and helped my wife with a blowout about 40 miles away from his shop. Saturday afternoon when everyone else was closing. Had our low profile tire at his shop. Great guy. Really saved us. If you break down call his shop ! He was the best. Price was excellent . Michigan bound and he got her on the road again in 2 hours.

My husband noticed at a nearby rest stop that steel cords were sticking out of our 2 back tires while we were on our way home from a family vacation. He said to me, "we aren't going to make it another 50-100 miles without our tires popping". I was immediately upset because it was 6:00 pm & knew most businesses were closed. We drove to the next exit where a man working at a gas station was outside. My husband told him what was going on & he gave us Steve's phone number. Steve had went home for the night but didn't hesitate to help us! He gave us his address & told us to meet him at his business in a couple minutes! He was so friendly & willing to do whatever he could to get us back on the road! His place was extremely clean & welcoming! He told me & the kids to go on in his office, to get warm & could watch TV, etc while we wait. We were there for maybe on hour! He truly was wonderful! The next morning I looked at out receipt & noticed he only charged us $20 for labor! Unreal! People just don't do that anymore! I felt awful for interrupting his night with his family etc & he was just so gracious to help us! Truly a wonderful family business that I would recommend to anyone! Thank you, again, Steve for helping my & my family out! It was a chilly evening in the middle of no where & could have been a really scary situation! Steve made everything great again!

Amazing. We broke down on a Sunday afternoon. The gas station attendant called Steve and he was willing to drive out to check out the issue. He was pleasant and knowledgeable, but understandably, mentioned given the day and where we broke down, we probably couldn't get a fix for a few days. He continued to brainstorm, understanding I was stranded with my family of 5. Finally, he found a business an hour away with the part, drove there to pick it up by himself, got my car into the shop, and fixed it. All on a Sunday afternoon. What he charged (which was extremely reasonable) seemed minuscule compared to what he did for us. Amazing guy and an amazing shop.

Steve came to my rescue at 2 am two days before Christmas when I was stranded in 0 degree weather along I 80. He hauled the vehicle to his shop, he delivered us to a motel, and he made the repairs and got us back on the road within 12 hours. The price for the repairs was VERY reasonable, and Steve's knowledge and efficiency are top notch. Steve's Towing and Recovery gets the highest rating I can give. Steve's shop is fully equipped to work on cars, trucks, RVs. I would go out of my way to have Steve work on any of my vehicles.

My niece and I were on our way to Nebraska for Thanksgiving, unfortunately, we ran out of gas 5 miles out from Julesburg. Roadside assistance was going to be a 3 hour wait, so on a whim we called Steve’s Towing & Recovery. Zach saved the day! He jumped right into his truck, came to our rescue, filled my tank, and we were off to a gas station in Julesburg. The cherry on top was what he charged my card was WAY cheaper than original quote. Our van broke down near Big Springs, NE on a Friday night. Steve picked us up, took us to a hotel, fixed the van (including driving over 120 miles round-trip for parts) on Saturday morning and had us back on the road. He was friendly, affordable, and went out of his way to make sure our trip wasn't cancelled. Great service!

The worse part of this experience was my car had more issues with it when I picked it up from them.they changed the price three times during the week it was there. charged thousands of dollers and sent me home with a car that still needs a new mechanic.when you leave them you felt like you left a chop shop.VERY SHADY.

Such a positive experience! Stopped at the Flying J in Big Springs, NE on a Sunday to find fluid dripping under my car. Steve came right out and was able to identify the problem, no immediate service was needed and I had the comfort of knowing that my journey could continue. Steve didn't charge me for having to come out, I just felt bad to pull him away for no reason on a Sunday. What a blessing! Thank you, Steve!!

My wife and I were on a cross country trip to the Grand Tetons when we turned into a gas station in the middle of Nebraska. We heard some noise from under the engine. Although we could shift gears, the car wouldn't go forward or in reverse. We thought it was going to be a costly transmission problem. No shop in the area would even look at it for a week. The nearest car rentals were 50 miles away with no way for us to get there. It didn't matter anyway since none of the agencies had cars available. AAA sent Steve over to tow it to one of the shops. When he arrived, he looked under the car and identified the problem as a cracked CV axle. He ordered a new part on the spot from Denver and had it the next morning. He towed the car and drove us to his shop 35 miles away and dropped us off at a local motel for the night. We were on our way the next day. We are very grateful for the way Steve handled the situation on both a professional and personal basis. He's a great guy!

My engine blew and was not repairable. Steve and Jackie have been so accommodating and kind to me while trying to find transportation to my destination. I called their emergency number before hours and Steve came out as soon as possible to tow to the shop.

So let me say that anyone who is ever in the area of Julesburg, Colorado breaks down, needs a tow, jumpstart, tire change wants to know who to call this is the company to call. Steve and Jackie are the most wonderful people. They are the type of people who would stop and help a perfect stranger on the side of the road. We broke down in big spring ne, we though it was just a tire. We called AAA who dispatched to Steve. He called me asked me the tire size and tried to locate one for me while he was on another call. He arrived to pick us up and take us to the Firestone in Ogallala, Ne. He talked to my husband and I like we were old friends. Dropped us off but kept the key to our car.. And then chuckled when I called him. When we left the tire shop we knew the power steering was shot on the car because of the way the tire blew but we were going to continue on our trip to Iowa to see my grandmas burial. We went about 3 blocks and my car started to overheat. We again call AAA and are thinking of having the car towed just back home, we then talk to someone who convinces us to use AAA and find a mechanic, well low and behold the only Mechanic who was available was also the same tow company who picked us up earlier. We got a hotel room and waited for Steve to show up to pick up our car. He made pleasant conversation with me while I went to back the car out of its spot. Said he would look at the car in the morning and would let us know whats going on. He had our car overnight and at 930 in the morning we called him to see if he had gotten a chance to look at the car so we knew what to do about our hotel room. He said he was just unloading it and would call us shortly to let us know what it was. He called us back about 20 min later and told us what it was. He said his wife was enroute to pick up the part and us to bring us to the shop where we would have to wait for a little while. He let me know you will be getting another phone call from my wife Jackie. When Jackie got the part and was on her way to us at the hotel she called me. Verified where we were at and said she would see us in a few minutes. She picked us up and we talked the whole way to Julesburg with her explaining the size of julesburg and traffic.They made a terrible 24 hours much more bearable... We could not have been more blessed to have them be contracted with AAA for that area. AAA is very lucky for such a wonderful person to be a part of their contracts.
