I am very happy to recommended this store because it has served me well many times. Not only have I gotten crucial parts I needed for repairs in a pinch but I also found that they sell the one brand of dog food I've used my pups whole life and it's just right here in town. They have a program to give you free bags etc. I would recommend this store to anyone because you can always find someone friendly and helpful. You can find just about anything here that you would need to start or finish a project.

Great place for the small home repairs. They have a decent nut and bolt aisle as well. Also, they were able to special order me some adhesive I needed for a project. My only complaint is that I wish they would carry the smaller 3x5 drywall boards.

On-line showed they had a fuse I have been trying to track down for a week. After a 30 minute drive I get to the store and it isn't to be found. I ask where that brand is located I get a protracted story that it is in storage and they have no way to find it.Also, wearing a mask attracts glares from these 'friendly' people.

On Memorial Day weekend, I went into Ace to have keys made and get some popcorn.I love that they offer their customers POPCORN! 😍But what I loved more was the four young adults that went above and beyond to get my not standard keys made! They work! And those guys did too!

I love this place !! The staff is what makes it really awesome....they are friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and make coming here a pleasant experience everytime.I can always find what I'm looking for, and its usually something I feel the box stores won't have yet this store does!I needed a spare key made for my rv....an odd looking key that I figured would have to be special ordered....nope, the gal at the front counter had one made in no time....I tried it when I got home and it works great !Check this place out for yourself, plenty of parking and FREE popcorn too ! 👍

Every time I've been in the staff has been very welcoming and helpful. Always there to answer your questions but they don't hover over you and become a pest. This store has a little of everything and if you can't find it they can order it in. Well done on the training, you've made me a loyal customer!

Very frequent shopper of my local Ace. Very firmly believe in supporting small businesses within my local community. When my family and I arrived at the store to grab some items to finish some weekend projects. We where greeted by a lady requiring my whole family to put hand sanitizer on prior to being allowing in the store. The bottle was not labeled and she was going to dispense it onto our hands. Not optional or professionally supplied through a commercial allocation. I politely told the lady we refused to use it and it would cost them our business if we are required to use it before we can shop in the store. Her reply was have a good day. I am most definitely not a conspiracy theorist but I am definitely educated and read a lot of literature. I believe knowledge is power and understanding what we put on our bodies and in them is important. Especially my 9 year old daughters hands and body. Research and understand PEOPLE. And most certainly do not use some bottle at some store that some person is requiring you to use. No matter the reason. I will never step foot in that store again.

The employees are what make this the greatest Ace Hardware anywhere! If you can't find something, they will bend over backwards to make sure you have it ASAP. And everyone knows Ace has a great selection of everything, so it's rare they don't have what I need. I'm so grateful to have this store in Johnstown!

Not a bad little store. Pretty decent selection and will more then likely have something to atleast get you by.They have some awesome older employees who are very polite and helpful.I have only ran into maybe 2 employees who were not the best, but at the same time they weren't the worst.

Can't say enough good things about this Ace. Each time I go I am constantly in pressed with the customer service they give each person. Today I was helped by Devin who went above and beyond helping me figure out what was wrong with a faucet by taking a good one apart and examining each piece step by step with me against mine that I had brought in.I have never felt rushed or that I was putting anyone out while asking questions on my numerous house projects. Would highly recommend this Ace location to anyone.

I visited Ace to get pieces of hardware for minor repairs to a shelving unit, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC in my home along with other tools, parts and odds and ends for home maintenance. The prices are a little higher than bigger box stores, but you are more likely to get the specific items and maybe a little help from a store associate. Ace is the place ... that goes you can't mow mud. I will be back.

An employee at the store help me fix my spigot for my outside hose, very helpful and friendly, can't say enough how I love this store, great experiences every time I come here. Shame on you people for the bad reviews about the hand sanitizer.

Besides the free, fresh popcorn, and the sweet lady who greets you upon entering JOHNSTOWN ACE HARDWARE, this place has everything, literally everything. Do not drive miles to one of those big box stores! I support my local businesses and am proud of it!!

Great one stop ago for your hardware needs. A little more than going into town, but worth it for the convenience. Look for the sales and use your reward card, then you will be saving much more. They have some great sale prices.

I have been coming to this store since we move close by. I have sent many packages using their UPS shipping area. In the past few months thing have changed. When I was in there last the person in there was not happy that I did not have an address on the box was not happy that I would give home the address. The friendliness there has changed. Before they would look me up and have my info on file. Will have to find d another place to send my packages from.
