Wonderful quaint place. Great breakfast plates. Yummy mimosas! Indoor and outdoor seating with a small waterfall you can dunk your feet in. Dog friendly. We had live music during our brunch which was unique. Free live music several times a week. Check out their website for performer schedule.Vegetarian options: Veggie options for tacos and burritos.

Are you skeptical when someone touts an antique/historial cafe/restaurant? Look no further. Jamestown Mercantile is the real deal.Cozy. Delicious. Authentic. This place feels like home after about 30 seconds. Staff was so kind, burritos tasted phenomenal, seating is open and casual. Will definitely be back to this place, it’s a gem. I’m excited to go during a jam night.

Went in on a Friday night with some live music. It got busy, so get there early if you plan to go.Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Their wings and parmesan truffle fries were a hit! Everyone was friendly and everybody seemed to know everybody else. Music was rocking and the dance floor was hopping.Atmosphere was very unique and really fun. Definitely worth the drive from Boulder.

The ultimate mountain town cafe - incredible food, great coffee, and live music. As soon as you walk in you’ll feel like family and wish you were a regular. Their breakfast burritos are some of the best in the state with the perfect green chili. If you’re driving through Jamestown, this is a must.

Stopped here after our hike. Service and food was great! The price wasn't bad either. Very satisfying visit, thank you! We ate across the street outside and listened to live music. Food did not take too long.

A wonderful hub of community in a beautiful Colorado mountain town. Sunday brunch was fantastic. Authentic and unique setting. Check out their live music, too. Just remember, no Wagon Wheel.

We always try to make it through Jamestown when we’re in northern Colorado. It’s a taste of funky old Colorado, no commercialization, just a great bunch of eccentric folks living colorful lives in their mountain hideaway. The Mercantile is the social spot, a bar and restaurant with great food and good music in the dank mountain air. Pizza Friday nights are highly recommended! Stay for the music and make new friends.

This Chef Had one of the best wholesome dining experiences I've had in a very long time, you find the best things in strangest of places if you look at it right. 100% Jamestown Merc, for the ambiance the quality the vibe. Choices are easy when you just are able to offer a few options but nail them on flavor taste quality and presentation. If you need to be reminded what a proper food experience is do yourself a flavor and take a scenic drive up the canyon sit back enjoy a local kombucha and just live it. Enjoyed sharing this magical establishment cool mountain breeze canyon walls, and all the feeling of right where you need to be.

If you're headed to/through Jamestown, don't miss this incredible spot! The food is absolutely fantastic and the staff is very friendly. The brunch dishes are all so good and their pizza nights are delicious too. In the summer, arrive early when they have live music to grab a spot on the lawn and make a wonderful night of it! We recently went for brunch a sunny Sunday morning and had a great patio spot, amazing eggs and really tasty beverages too.

Delicious food, quaint atmosphere, and frequent live music make this a must-stop restaurant for any and all in the area. Highly recommend their brunch. Also, they have great gluten free options for anyone who is needing that accommodation.

We are staying at at wonderful VRBO just down the road from the Merc. Our first meal was on Friday night. The tapas selection was varied so we all ordered something different. The food was creative and delicious! We had beef sliders with bacon jam, a mushroom pasta and a tempeh kabob that was out of this world! My husband was sure that he was eating beef instead of tempeh. A wonderful band was playing, and the staff and customers were friendly and welcoming. It was such a fabulous experience that we went back again for Mother's Day Brunch where we saw quite a few familiar faces from Friday night. We again all order a variety of meals from the breakfast burrito to the crab cake benedict served with a fresh salad and a wonderfully lemon hollandaise sauce. A single musician provided nice relaxing music throughout the brunch, and mimosas were served to all females, breeding not required;)Our only regret was that the Merc was going to be closed on our last two days of vacation, otherwise we would have had a few more meals there. The Merc is a gem! I would highly suggest making your way to Jamestown if you are in the Boulder area and stopping at the Merc. Your won't be disappointed!

Went on a Friday night to see some live music in the green space across the street. Jamestown is a beautiful old town, so it was a great small venue. My complaint, which makes me debate giving this place 3 stars, is that the wood fired pizza had a wait of at least an hour for most of the night, so we ended up skipping out on it. Looked and sounded good, but didn't want to wait and pay attention to when our number would be written on a white board while watching the performance.

Great spot for breakfast! I know they are limited on hours and menu but they are still knocking it out of the park with the food and service. Our family had Sunday breakfast and had the burrito, tacos and mountain toast. All were delicious and worth the wait. We got some mac and cheese and key lime pie to go and they were equally delicious. When in the area we will definitely go back!

What a fun Pizza night we had! We got to see the Green Buddha and enjoy a gorgeous time by the river. Food is always on point and the margs are amazing. This is the first time I have been out in a public setting with a lot of people and I am so happy that I got to experience this! I cannot wait to come back for brunch on one of the upcoming Sundays! Keep up the great work!

This is coming from a Texan, but they have the best brisket tacos I've ever tried. The staff was extremely friendly and the town couldn't be more quaint. If you're up in Jamestown I highly recommend stopping in for a bite to eat.

Absolutely loved the ambiance here. Bar-man was extremely knowledgeable in the entire establishment. However, they really need to update their menu offerings, as we were disappointed in pizza as the only option. We went specifically for a musician duo, one of whom showed up. But she had an amazing variety of music to keep everyone happy, and has a great voice to accompany her guitar. Great night out!

We love biking from Boulder to the Merc for brunch! Today, as always, food was great and there were lots of friendly people. For newcomers, note that the kitchen is quite small and when its crowded (like it was today when we arrived at 12:15) it can take a while to get your order - but be patient it is worth it! On this most recent visit it took about an hour between ordering and eating but it was *very* crowded (we were second in line for a table which rarely happens).
