I have a reactive dog and another dog. Boarded them for a week when we went to Mexico. The reactive dog had to be picked up early at another kennel. Pampered Pets did an outstanding job of keeping both pups super happy so we could enjoy our vacation. We are thrilled to have a home away from home for our two dogs!

I am SO grateful for the Pampered Pets staff and facility! I had a very last minute change in plans and Maggie was beyond gracious, patient and helpful. Maggie offered their Pick-Up service which was a saving grace for me and sent me photos and updates of my pup for the 5 days she was there! My pup came home without missing a beat which tells me she was well cared for. Pampered Pets gives such personal care for each pup at their facility and I appreciate the love and attention they provide. I will definitely use Pampered Pets again! Thank you so much Maggie and the PP staff - you all provide a wonderful and valuable service that means so much to pet owners like myself.

I hate to leave a bad review because the owner, Maggie, is very nice but I would probably reconsider sending your pet here.. we were recommended to it by another kennel in Durango that was full and didn't read many reviews beforehand and wish we did. As other reviews have said, the online photos of the beautiful grassy pastures are VERY misleading. it did not look like that at all - it looked like a sad, dark pound. When we pulled up, we seriously debated cancelling our weekend camping plans as we got such a bad feeling, but ended up leaving her since Maggie made us feel comfortable. She said she'd send us pictures over the weekend, however we didn't get any..We ended up coming home a day early (from a 2 day trip) because we were having such bad anxiety over her care, and are SO glad we did. Her bandana and dog beg smelled / felt like they were totally soaked in her own urine (which she's never done before so I imagine she was terrified), and the blanket we gave them to keep with her was in the back and smelled like it had been washed, so I have to imagine she peed herself on that too.I asked my brother to check in on her since we wouldnt have service, but he said he called 3 times with no answer.Also, she was scratching like crazy and found flea bites on her and are pretty sure she would have gotten them there because she wasn't showing signs before.Finally, small thing, but they didn't ask for proof of her up to date vaccinations... appreciate they took our word for it, but most solid kennels require proof of that stuff.Overall, the place has fair prices and a really sweet owner, but I would not return so wanted to share that information in case helpful!

For one thing, no one was around. We showed up at the time we were supposed to be there as per Maggie, Who sounded like a very wonderful person, But when we drove 40 miles, one way out of our way to get there, the scene was like something out of Texas chainsaw massacre ! Middle of nowhere, no one was around, no one answered the phone on numerous calls, and all you heard was barking barking barking ,Horrible! Vacation was ruined. We could not ride the train in Durango, Because we couldn't take our dog. That was $450 wasted. Horrible, terrible, unprofessional place will never visit that place again. Or have anything good to say about it?

The website for this place is super misleading. We were visiting a nearby business and saw the signs for this place. Having just moved to the area, we have been looking for a place to leave our 3 Border Collies if we have to travel. So we stopped by yesterday and were very disappointed. It was as bad as walking through a city or county shelter (aka the pound). All the dogs barking, small kennels, and a small yard of dirt and bark (not the beautiful grassy yard like in the pictures). The person working there couldn't really explain what it costs to have extra walks or how they getto play in the pond. She said that they dogs are walked to the dirt yard twice a day for 15-20 minutes to potty. But I honestly don't know how there would be enough time in the day for this to happen for each of the dogs staying there given the number that were there yesterday. A real case of false advertising!

We have been using Pampered Pets for our Border Collie for many years, and it is always been a good experience for us and the dog. She is now on Meds, and they are terrific about making sure she gets her pills, and mixing her food. She gets a nice dog run and lots of fresh water. When the weather is right, she gets to play in the pond twice a day, or she gets nice walks. Always a happy girl! Love this facility!

The website for this business is somewhat misleading. It was a dissapointment when I arrived to leave our pound puppy with them for two weeks. No one around and very loud collection of dogs in kennels. Wish I had visited first, felt trapped in my decision to leave her.Recieved support from Maggie about my misgivings so had a good trip. Our dog was fine and happy when we got her so it all worked out. Just be aware.

I have 3 dogs that I have taken to Pampered Pets multiple times. I like the large kennels and I feel like Patti really cares about my pet's stay. She calls in advance to see if my dogs have any special needs for their stay. She is very accommodating. I like the large wide open space outside where the dogs are taken for walks during the day. I also love the fact that we can drop off and pick up our dogs at any time. Very convenient! The only reason that I didn't give them 5 stars is that it is a long drive to get there for us. I wish they were closer.

We left our three dogs with Maggie for two weeks while we traveled to the Caribbean. One of our dogs is diabetic, and Maggie was amazing with him.First off, Maggie makes you feel welcome immediately upon arrival. When I dropped off the dogs, she and her beautiful daughter were there to meet me with big smiles and warm welcomes. I was amazed at how spotless the kennels are...throughout.Maggie was totally nonplussed about our diabetic dog, Napoleon. She put our three in a large kennel with an adjoining kennel, so Napoleon could eat separately but then would be reunited with his buddies immediately. Maggie later told me she sat with him while he ate, so she could make sure he finished his food, AND so she could then give him his insulin.I highly recommend Pampered Pets, and we definitely will return.

Love this place! The only kennels I’ve put my dogs that my dogs LOVE. I was moving and came to say hi to the dogs, (they were in for 10 days) took them on a walk around the property then was able to get them to walk back into their kennel without a leash! They weren’t desperate to come home, or super anxious when I got there. Maggie is so nice, and I will ONLY bring my fur babies here! :) Must mention, the pricing is very reasonable as well.COME HERE!

Pampered Pets is a great kennel and they take care of the dogs like they were their own. I had 3 dogs and loved the big kennels that all three could board in at one time. I love that you can drop off and pick up at any time and don't have to be there by a certain time if your travel plans change. Patti really cares about the animals. Kennels are always clean. I trust Pampered Pets with my fur babies!

Our three dogs love going to Pampered Pets. One of the dogs is very high maintenance and they have absolutely no problems with her. Best boarding facility we've used!!!! Also, their convenient drop off and pick up times accommodates anyone's schedule and their payment process is a breeze.

I cannot imagine a better kennel than Pampered Pets. You can drop of and pick up your pets any time including Sundays. They exercise the dogs twice daily and will dispense medicines when necessary. I love the indoor/outdoor kennels too. I have two huskies with really thick coats and they love being outside. Unless, of course, there are people inside...Thanks, Patti, for a great service!

Our dogs, Duke and Rosie, love Pampered Pets!The facility is always clean, and Duke loves swimming in the pond in the summer.They always come home looking healthy and well-exercised. The staff also can administer most vaccinations, which is good when you're having to leave town in a hurry. Patti and her staff are always helpful when I need them.

We ❤️❤️❤️ our Bella Boo’s boarder sooo much!!! About 3 years ago we started bringing her to Pampered Pets Pet Boarding 🐶 and we ABSOLUTELY ❤️ them! The facility is always impeccably clean and is situated on a vast cattle ranch, which is perfect for playing, with a pond available for swimming. 💦 The staff is absolutely TOP NOTCH! 🏆 They go above and beyond with the care they offer and are amazingly talented with their “fur clients”. They care for them as though they are their own pets! ❤️🐶❤️I am “that dog mom” who is very cautious and extremely selective and protective with whom we will leave our precious “fur baby”. Pampered Pets is the only place we will take Bella! When we drop her off and leave on vacation...we always drive away 🚙💨 completely at ease 😅🤗and fully assured that Bella will receive all of the attentive love, care, and exercise...that we would give her. And that piece of mind is absolutely PRICELESS!!!The owner, Maggie, lives right on site and is always available when we check in on Bella during her stay...texting back cute updates, often with FUN pictures attached. 😍 They have an extremely convenient drop off/pick up system and their payment process is a breeze. And their prices are extremely reasonable! For Pampered Pets...your pet’s care is PERSONAL and we ❤️ that about them!

We took our German Shepherd (Daisy) to Pampered Pets for a one day trial stay a couple of weeks before we left for a two-week + vacation. When we picked Daisy up after the one day trial, Daisy liked Pampered Pets so much she jumped out of the car and ran back in to see her new friends.The two-week + vacation stay was similar. Daisy recognized Pampered Pets as we drove up the driveway and started enthusiastic howling/barking well before we crossed the cattle guard on the long driveway. Two weeks later she was a happy puppy, and was howling/barking to her friends as we drove away. (If you spend any time at all with your dog, you learn to understand what their barks mean.)Your dog will tell you if he/she likes staying at Pampered Pets. According to our Daisy's rating, Pampered Pets gets 5 stars.

Pampered pets is a wonderful place and the staff is great. They take good care of our dog Archie. The flexible drop off and pick up are convenient and the fees are reasonable. With Pampered Pets we never have to worry about finding a sitter. 👍

Dexter my cat has stayed here long term. I've boarded him at many high priced boarding in city before. But pampered pets has gone above and beyond any city boarding. Their prices are perfect and Dexter is honestly more spoiled now then ever before. Best boarding in this area for sure!

This place is beyond amazing !!!! If I could rate this place 10 + stars I would. Our three cats stayed over the course of four days. They were beyond well taken care of. The facility is nice + clean. Maggie ( the owner ) gave me updates ( I’m a crazy cat mom, and this was our first time leaving them at boarding place ) . , as well as provided pictures of what they were up too which put me at ease . Their Catery was so spacious for all of them to play , nap , and do whatever they pleased!!! They even provided a cat tower , which they all went crazy for . We are so grateful we found this place , and plan to continue to use them from here on out!!!!!!!!!Thanks again ,Elizabeth Hagelston

My late dogs, Zia and Riley, LOVED it when they realized they were going to "summer camp". It's the only boarding facility I've ever used that makes dogs happy. Happy when they realize they're going to stay there, and happy (and tired) when you come to pick them up.

Anybody who has a dog or cat or horse and you want pampered pets to take care of them i would go somwhere elts beacuse this is not what it seems think twice before you go to these people seriously there was nobody there to take care of the dogs and they where left alone beacuse no one was there when we showed up during there working hours so again think twice so what do u think!!!!!!!!
