Staff is super friendly and welcoming. They are knowledgeable about products served and will offer a sample upon request on some items. I am visiting from out of state and this must be a stop if passing through or if you are staying in or near town. This place is an absolute gem. There are plenty of things to do. A unique camping experience as you can camp in the orchards. They have cabins and glancing tents. They have some excellent Ciders and Vinegars. I stopped here for lunch and unfortunately they were out of some items. I ordered the smoked brisket, and it was pretty good. Some amazing views though. I will be back.

What a hidden gem! We discovered the place while looking on an app for a campground. They allow you to dry camp either in the orchards or by the ponds depending on your rig size. The ciders are delicious, especially the Cherry Daze cider. The food is organic and fresh and so good. We stayed for 3 nights and ate each day at the restaurant. They have cool merchandise and interesting finds at their little store. We got farm fresh eggs, mini cheesecakes, and ginger apple juice. Live bands played on Fri and Sat and the place was packed. The vibe is absolutely perfect here!! The tree swings are indeed epic and so fun for kids and adults. We can't wait to go back again! We would've stayed longer if they'd had a hookup campsite. We met awesome folks all weekend at the campground and at the restaurant. Go, you won't regret it!

We almost didn’t camp here overnight (we were meant to stay near Aspen) but so glad we did! RV camping here is like a Harvest Host on steroids! A beautiful big field to park in, a great country store/restaurant, delicious cider, and live music. Lovely walks with our doggie through the orchards in the evening. Quite the vibe going on over here at Big B’s. Sad we ‘just’ missed the annual cider festival next weekend.

I now, more than ever before, love ciders. Big B's was easy to access, had lots of parking, was clearly signed, and had both indoor and outdoor seating options.The service was approachable, knowledgeable, and very timely and efficient. The selection of food was healthful, flavorful, and diverse enough to cater to a large swath of palates.The ambience was great. Industrial, cozy, clean, and provided for a diversity of group sizes.The ciders were a hit. I will not say what I tasted, but I will say they were probably some of the best I have had. I only wish I had more time to taste more of the options. I also wish I had tried some of the ice-cream.I encourage you to carve out two hours for fun, family, food, and fantastic ciders.

This was my favorite stop through about a dozen wineries, breweries, and distilleries in western Colorado. The business had a very welcoming, open atmosphere that instantly made you curious as to what products they offered. There was such depth and variety to their ciders that I began pairing in my head when and with what I'd prefer to drink each type. My sister and I purchased a room temperature sampler pack to take back to our mom.

Great place to chill, and a real plus when they've got a live band playing. We go for the bluegrass! Bands from all over! But know they dont serve beer, only nice wine and delicious ciders. Food is very good too. Very friendly folks.Kid-friendliness: Kids are happy since they have a play scape, tree swings too but for older kids.

Such a fun weekend camping at the orchard! Beautiful location, great walking paths throughout the fruit trees and vines. The atmosphere and entertainment at night are excellent - live bands, dancing, and a great time for both the adults and kids. Plus the cafe and local ciders and juices are fantastic. It’s worth the trip here, were definitely planning to come back for another weekend

Friends took me here great place very cool. Great Food, had BBQ pulled pork no bun. Salad, coleslaw, trying the hard ciders watching the kids and adults swing on ropes off the hill listening to music, Dancing,walking around the vineyards, Bond fires at night checking out the little store. On music night it's $20 per car load that pays for parking, and music.You can Camp here overnight with Rv's, or tents they supplie water here only. There is no dump stations or electrical hookups They have modern bathrooms and showers. I will be coming back here

Cute little spot for food and drink. Great outdoor area to hang, eat, or play. Two fun rope swings for kids to swing on. The hospitality of the people working their was great. Very patient and informative as we enjoyed a cider tasting. We ended up picking up a couple bottles. The food was also really good. I highly recommend the brisket sandwich!

We were in Paonia visiting family and they recommended this place. Everyone had such a great time one the rope swings, kids and adults. The brunch was delicious and fresh. Cider was tasty. I would love to go back on a day they have a concert! Highly recommend.

If you love good cider (and hard lemonade) they got it!! I haven’t tried the food yet, but I plan to. It smells great.Also on the property is Oasis Nursery where you can find the expertise and native plant materials to make your own fruited plain.Also, they have camping and live music!

We stopped here in September to camp the night and wish we stayed longer. They had a great cafe, u-pick garden, convenience store, live music and delicious cider. We will definitely return if in area again.

I had a cob salad and my friend the brisket sandwich. The smell of chimichurri seeping out if the kitchen. Beautiful setting surrounded by their orchards, the staff are super friendly, excellent food both in quality of ingredients, options and flavor. Generous space for different size parties, inside and out. Went for a cider tasting which included some if their special freeze flavors. Definitely check this place out.

I've been wanting to stop at Big B's for a while. Since I work in retail (grocery) and we stock their products, I've been curious. And that I only live a couple hours away doesn't hurt!The place was hopping when I got there in the early evening.They have a wonderful gift store area laid out nicely. Good selection of cider products (regular apple cider, hard cider, soaps and such & wine).They do serve food and with about 8 selections of hard cider & regular on tap.The seating area outside is fantastic. Super comfortable, plenty of tables, trees, dog friendly. This would be a great place to go in the summer which, I intend on revisiting in a couple months.Recommended.

Big B's is something special. The orchard is beautiful and so peaceful, everyone is incredibly friendly. This place is definitely worth a visit. The music performances are so fun, the drinks are amazing.Kid-friendliness: Swing, play sets, all safe.

Only downside was poor communication as to where things were - too few or missing labels, hard to follow maps, no path names, and the posted instructions as to HOW, WHERE, and WHAT to gather were unclear, along with WHAT to do with produce once picked

Great little orchard and restaurant between Hotchkiss and Paonia Colorado. Lots of food selections. The burger and the burrito were both excellent. Multiple hard ciders on tap. The Apple Cherry was great. Ice cream and pie. Pick your peaches. Outdoor dining with music every weekend. Great family spot with swings for kids. Definitely recommend.

Delicious food and wonderful ambiance overlooking the orchard and mountains can be seen out in the distance. Sweet potato fries and pulled pork was amazing, and the chips with Chile verde salsa was off the chain. Check it out!

Hotchkiss' version of the ultimate nature mall! 😎They offer campgrounds, bee hives, acres of varied 'you pick' veggies, orchards, assorted berries, (even Goji) and herbs.Lovingly maintained by delightful staff and owners, Big B's is big fun. Playground & huge tree swings for all ages.Their produce/ herbal/ gastropub & concert venue boasts inventive ice cream flavors and local wines as well. But parking can get tight as it is very popular and right off the highway.Don't miss the Tree & Bush nursery. On my wanderings, I discovered a Mulberry Bush near the beehives. It's a lovely property to spend some time, whilst imbibing and sampling their wares.
