Primarily reviewing the library which is located in the same area as county nurse and Town of Hot Sulphur Springs grounds. This is NOT the courthouse as several reviews have mistakingly talked about vehicle registration, that building is down the street. The building is handicap accessible with limited off street parking. Decent selection of books and other media for a very small library. Several computers for public use. Hours are limited and sometimes vary, like most businesses they are under staffed. However the staff has always been extremely helpful and friendly.

I’m not sure if the people that work at the department of motor vehicles are incompetent or just lazy but this is the most unorganized place I’ve ever dealt with. Not only do they make mistake after mistake but they’re also RUDE when you call and try and figure out the mistake THEY made. DO better and get a job somewhere that doesn’t require any brain power.

I just moved here from the front range. It was awesome to walk into the vehicle registration department today and have my paperwork handled immediately and professionally. I was prepared to take a number and wait- but was out the door in less than 5 minutes. My hat’s off to employee Hailey for being professional and pleasant to work with.

Why does the DMV close for an hour at lunch? I watched both tellers leave at the same time, leaving customers unattended. That is just unprofessional behavior. If there are more than one employee they should be taking shift lunches to keep business moving.

The staff was not friendly at all. Upon walking in I immediately felt not welcome. I was friendly and yet I felt as if everyone wanted me to leave. I felt like I was intruding??? I just wanted to register my car. I don't know what the deal was with the staff. The staff at motor vehicle in Breckenridge are very friendly and helpful but my experience at motor vehicle in Hot Sulpher Springs was awful.

Hours posted and on phone- 8:30 am- 4:30pm with an hour lunch 12-1. I arrive here to see they’re opening at 9:00 because of a staff meeting. Can’t the staff come in 30 min early instead and keep the business hours the same?
