We can't say enough good things about VCA Mountainview. We brought our boxer here for almost 10 years, first for doggy day care and then also for boarding and veterinary care. The staff are tremendous, always professional, and always took great care of our little guy, even going above and beyond to help us out when we were in a bind. When it was time for us to say goodbye last month, Dr. Johnson was such a huge help and extremely understanding. We especially appreciated the sympathy cards we received from the staff with their hand written notes about our little guy. It meant a lot to us. We always trusted them with the care of our little guy and would highly recommend VCA Mountainview! I would be willing to bet most pet parents have experienced costs steadily increase in all areas of our pets' care over the years (not unlike the prices and costs in just about every other area of our economy) but the level of care here never waivered. You won't find better care!

Dr. Gottschall is a miracle worker. We thought our dog was going to have to be put to sleep. He wasn't eating and was extremely weak. Under Dr. Gottschall's care, he had an amazing recovery.

Dr. Crossett really cares about our animals. When we faced the difficult decision to help our cat across the rainbow bridge, she was empathic and cried with us while offering advice we needed. After our dogs dental extraction, she texted the next day to check in and see how she was doing. This place is great, and everyone helps take great care of our furry babies. When we adopt another pet, we will definitely bring them here.

I have been coming here for many years. We had another dog named Gizmo who passed October 2023 he was 15 1/2 years old . He went here all his life. We just got a new puppy Stella, Dr. Crossett is her doctor whom we truly love! She’s an amazing doctor and you can tell that she loves animals and really cares. She has just been spayed April 09, 2024. The surgery went wonderful. This is the day after and she is doing wonderful, she is walking eating , not sick a bit. We are still watching her incision and she’s wearing a suit that covers her incision so she can not lick at it. Of all the years that I’ve been coming to this establishment it has been great but Dr. Crossett makes it wonderful! She is my favorite Dr. since we’ve started coming here. I want no one but her taking care of my baby!!! I can not say enough good about her. Bring your dog or cat to Dr. Crossett and you will see what oi mean!!!!!!!

Vet. Rachel is outstanding.My son's dog was dehydrated, not wanting to eat with zero energy. He was not walking, eating, or drinking. I thought we were going to lose him.Miss Rachel immediately took him to test him, comforted me because she saw my distress.Came back, told me they gave him fluids, for which he did well.I took him home with no meds. She asked me to give him chicken broth, bone broth, and blend foods as he toleraded.He would not eat on his own, so I had to use a syringe to feed him chicken broth and protein shakes. The following day, I noticed him having a little more energy. He was walking and Peeing, which to me was a huge success!I then proceeded to give him baby food stage 3 (turkey)Miss Rachel texted me Saturday, asking me about his condition, and recommended him to have an ultrasound done becausehis kidney levels were elevated, and so were the white cells.I asked her if it could be an infection?I had not heard him bark.She prescribed him antibiotics.Sunday, although not at full strength, he was chasing rabbits.A week later, he is now being picky about what he wants to eat. He is refusing his dry dog food, but the can food gives him cramps and loose stools.VCA team was exceptional in customer service.Miss Rachel, an outstanding caring vet who went above my expectations.Thank you all for your professionalism!

With the loss of DR Longley, we started seeing DR Johnson. As our Ginger was such a part of our family. DR Johnson was very kind and caring with our concerns of Ginger getting to that senior stage in her life. His compassion when it came to the time of having to put her asleep after seeing her suffer from failing health was very appreciated. If we ever decide to get another family pet, DR Johnson will be the one who will be providing all veterinary care for us. This place has raised their prices an absurd amount. The vets are fine the facility is fine, never had an amazing experience here but it was alway fine. Every time you go in the prices are more than what they were a few months ago and you will soon be paying double for the same basic services. I was there for less than 5 minutes to have my dog's glands expressed and it was 100 dollars way more than what it costs anywhere else. They are probably the most expensive vet in the area, we will be going somewhere that's not a greedy corporate chain!

I bring my dog Milo here for vet and pet boarding services. All the staff members are amazing. They are all so welcoming with such a positive attitude. Dr. Longley, our vet is very gentle with our nervous dog. He is great with all the questions and concerns we bring him. The pet boarding they have is great too.I was also really anxious to leave my dog for the first time but they do send daily updates, and that really puts me at ease. The staff will go out of their way to make sure that you and your dog are comfortable while you are away.

Very friendly and professional staff. The Vet Doctors are great and knowledgeable and don't try to hard sell you on only thier products. They helped us find reasonable food and medicine.The boarding is also reasonable and allows you to choose from regular care to over the top pampering of your little loved one. Even at the "no frills" level that I used (because I have a limited budget) my per was walked several times a day and returned home with tail wagging.

We love this vet! I have been taking our dogs here for the past 7 years. The staff is amazing, and the quality of care is top notch. When we lost our chihuahua in 2019, they were so kind and sent us a heartfelt card with their condolences. Special shout-out to Dr. Canfield, who is the most compassionate vet I have ever met. She truly cares about her patients and their families, and clearly explains treatment plans with you. We moved about 25 minutes away from this location, and continue to take our pups there because of the staff. 5/5, recommend to everyone!

Best place in town; we take all of our dogs here. They get us in and out in a timely fashion, and we are allowed to pay with our cell phones which is great. They check in to ensure that our pets are doing all right the next day. I love that they ’ sincerely and genuinely care about our animals it's very comforting.

Made boarding reservation, was upfront that my dog was intact. Chose this place due to proximity and the value of the staff while reserving.Upon arriving I was informed:None of my options were savedHes not going to be playing in free time (up to 5hrs)His options were 3 10 min or so walks a day and 30 min freetime.The girl behind the counter was callous and rude when I said that wasnt the experience I reserved. Blamed staff as new, but this staff member is not new…I asked her if she’d let her dog board like that. Of course she claimed her dog boards there, and I bet her dog gets out more than a customers dog….became irate when I asked “would you let your dog stay in a cage for 22.5 hrs a day for 5 days at a boarding facility?”She rolled her eyes at me.I arranged to board my dog at Dog Dynamix in Arvada, where my dog has been training.This hospital is willing to abuse dogs for profit.Will never use a VCA Pet Factory again.

I will never ever take my animals to a VCA facility again. My experience has been horrible at 2 different locations. They don’t care enough to actually save an animal. They sent mine back home with a sorry excuse of a college kid home with bronchitis or something. She nearly died. I took her to another clinic for a 2nd opinion, and they actually ran tests and determined what was wrong. VCA has the worst customer service and they just don’t care.

The lobby and examine room were clean and had lots of open space for multiple pets and their owner to maneuver comfortably. The nurse, (Diana?) was phenomenal! She asked me loads of insightful questions and handled my kitty with respect and care. Dr. Gottschall is by far the best Veterinarian that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her demeanor was very calm and nonjudgmental of my frazzled state. Dr.Gottschall also explained findings and treatments to me in an easy to understand way.

Our 2 dogs go to VCA Mountainview for grooming, Veterinary serviceand boarding. It is SO convenient to have all of your services in one place, and a comfort to our dogs as they become familiar with that one place.The groomers do an excellent job every time, they always compliment ourdogs good behavior and call us first if they have any questions about what we want. We see Dr. Fordham, and he is so good with the dogs, very kind, gentle, with good advice, and not high pressure about anything. We have been going here for about 7 years, and any time we have had any issue arise, they have handled things very promptly and professionally! We have been going here for 2.5 years. Always treat us well, and boarding and grooming are also available (and we use them often). They were really helpful over the phone and in person when my dog needed followup care for an infected bite wound the next day. Their lobby is spacious, which I appreciate with two anxious dogs.

Every time I bring my pet here they end up getting sick with something afterward. Then they will spread it to your other pets! It’s happened both times I’ve come in! You also pay $100 for a check up and only see a vet for 60 seconds. The place also seems much more geared towards dogs. Not coming back here!
