As far as Tractor Supplies go, this is a normal store. I am giving it 5 stars because the manager Kamryn is absolutely amazing. She is kind, personable, and goes way above and beyond to help.

I have been debating this review for a long time and after many purchases. after my last few experiences I thought it was time to voice my concerns hoping that things change.My most recent purchase was a Tractor Supply brand job box. The box is literally 1” out of square and the welds are so bad the lid wont close once fastened to the trailer deck. The box is also bowed in the center of all sides by about 3/8 of an inch, and dents are everywhere. It is a poor excuse for a secure way to store my tools. Unfortunate for me I didn’t notice until installing the box.I also purchased a Hobart welder online. Which said It would arrive in 1 week. After 2 weeks I went into the store to ask if there was an updated time of arrival, since the shipping information was not showing up on my order. The person I spoke with was both unwilling and presumably unable to assist in answering a few very simple questions about when my order may arrive. A week later the welder came in; I picked up my order and was told there was a $100 fee for ordering online. I disputed the charge and after some back and forth talking I got the $100 refunded. Got home and the welder was chock full of cosmetic damages.Yet another incident. My wife was charged for the wrong type of water softener salt, after looking at the receipt she went back to the store and asked for a refund ($8) in the amount of the difference. The worker could not comprehend what my wife was asking, after a while a manager asked for her to come back to his office and my wife explained the situation. He didn’t understand either. So the manager called his boss who then explained to him what to do (same thing my wife was saying) and he still did not understand.There have been multiple other (smaller priced) purchases similar to what was described above. In addition to those issues I find it unprofessional for workers to show up in pajama bottoms, the store opening 15-30 minutes late regularly. Some aisles full of unstocked merchandise making pushing a cart difficult. There is also no one walking around assisting customers (unlike ACE, which is great).However, there are a couple of really nice and helpful employees, that are great. Too bad they are the minority.

You failed me when I needed propane. I pulled in, used app, girl finally shows and says I have to wait 30 minutes for lightening?. Ok I say so off to other errands. Come back and nobody responds to app. Guy at register was clueless. Everybody in line said to go to NAPA and a LOT easier. I can just pull up in the motorhome. They didn't shut down for dumb reasons. You lost my business. I drove 1 hour from outreach of the National Forest. If you shut down for lightening in the area then won't you be down every afternoon in Gunnison?

I don't know what other TSC stores are like, but this one is great. The people there have always been friendly and helpful, and the mix of items available covers most of my hardware needs at competitive prices.I've also been pleasantly surprised at the quality of some of the clothing they carry there. A notable portion of my everyday wardrobe is now from TSC.

Needed a trailer but no one was able to sell me one. The reason I needed one was because the last one I bought from them, broke a leaf spring 20 hours from home in Denver with no way to fix. I ended up having to give it away. Cheaply made. Although I did only pay 600 6 years ago, but they are selling the same trailer for 1200 now? It ended up working out because I bought a 5x8 from true value trailers in Penrose for 450 more. This one had wood flooring, 3 leaf springs instead of 2, 15 inch tires and was rates for 3000 vs their 2000. A-frame hitch instead of single arm.

Shady. Went to get a couple of rubber matts (3/1 at 7pm) that were outside locked up. I noticed there was a sale sign for $14.99 regular price 19.99. I know i saw that sign because i closely inspected the matts to make sure they were what I wanted, and decided i would buy 4 because of the sale . When I went to ring up , one of the employees went to unlock the Mats and mysteriously there was no sale sign anymore. They denied seeing a sale sign and didn't even look it up unfortunately i needed them or i would have walked out . I should have gone to ACE like always.

We've gone to alot of Tractor Supplies throughout the country to fill up on propane. Almost every time the employees are reluctant to fill our tanks. The manager of this store was very helpful and confident.

Kind of like a more expensive dollar store. They have tools, clothing, dog food, gun safes, etc. A great parking lot, but the entrances are a bit hidden. You can't turn in from Hwy 135. Going north, you have to pass it and take the next left to go around to the side. It's weird.

Was in there today and a young man named Seth was great. Had a great attitude and willingness to help us find a water hydrant. Was a very professional young man, well dressed and talkative.

Check out employee was not present at her post while line had formed. When she finally showed up, she was very rude and dismissive. Also, dogs are allegedly allowed inside, but beware if your pooch is anything but a saint, because that woman will yell at you about it most unprofessionally.
