To call this place a gem is an understatement. The food, baked goods AND coffee was great! Stopped here while traveling by and we were treated like family not only by the employees but also the customers too. If you are in the Guffey area stop here!! You won't regret it.

The Bakery is everything I love about Colorado. It's the vortex for people of all kinds to come together to chat. Dana and Stacy are terrific proprietors. Not only do they prepare wonderful food, they are personable and offer encouragement with their meals. They care about Guffey (all the local businesses do; they are all vigorous proponents of making sure Guffey is cared for and is a great place to visit). This is not the slick food you can expect from quick dine or fast food. There is a wonderful rustic quality to it. The chicken in the sandwiches isn't pressed, sliced meat, it's robust and flavorful. My daughter loved the grilled PB&J.Check it out. It's great and so is the food. (SOURDOUGH!)

Stopped by here on a whim as I was traveling and OH. MY. GOD. When you pull into Guffey, it isn’t exactly the most picturesque place. So my expectations were a little low - but I wanted a cup of coffee for the road. When I walked in the door and was greeted by the best dogs ever, I knew things were lookin up. Then I ordered a blueberry scone that I still haven’t stopped thinking about. What a delight - so delicious - scones can be really dry but these a moist and just the right amount of sweetness. I am coming back by Guffey soon and will def make the bakery a stop!

Absolutely love this place, I stop every time I go up to 11 mile for fishing.They have the best pastries , the apple coffee cake and peach coffee cake are to die for. Very friendly ladies, always a joy to visit.

Delightful mountain retreat.Located in a very unique little town.Here you can not only enjoy the home made taste of Italian cuisine on Saturday and the wonderful breakfast on Sunday but bakery items that are forever changing (some better than others) all week long.Dana and crew are wonderful to talk with as well as excellent at what they do. Definitely a place to try while in the area.

We visited here a couple of mornings during our stay at a near by cabin. Friendly, local people and we loved visiting with them. We enjoyed bear claws, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, and biscuits and gravy. Wished we could have joined them for dinner one night. Sounded wonderful! Hershey their dog was a friendly guy too! Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Wow this place is excellent. The food is so good and so are the pastries and the chocolates and everything they make. There's also some great items from local artists and it makes a great place to buy gifts or just to support and get something pretty for yourself. Jewelery, soap, paintings, dog treats, gloves... the atmosphere is great and you can tell it's a special place and valuable to the community.

Very welcoming breakfast gem in Guffey that my family visited on Memorial Day for breakfast after spending the weekend together. They welcomed our large party and the service was wonderful and friendly. I had an omelet with sourdough toast that was just perfect and the rest of the party had various other menu items with everything being very tastey. Will most definitely return for the food and hospitality.

We happened to drive by this amazing eatery after visiting Guffey Gorge. This is such a nice lunch spot! We were greeted by a beautiful and well behaved dog at the door. The owner greeted us and we informed her of food allergies (egg mainly). She was able to substitute the sandwich bread (freshly made) for the allergen. We will definitely come back if we are in the area again!

Interesting Family owned business. It's out in the middle of a rural community. I enjoyed the variety of sandwiches, soups, pastries, etc. Their pet dogs were a blast.

Came across this cute bakery and SO HAPPY WE DID- its more than a bakery. We had amazing chicken bacon ranch sandwiches on freshly made buns!We bought 1 cookie and some chocolate too. Super delicious and very affordable!

the baked goods are always amazing. the owner is a sweet heart. always an amazing place to stop. haven't got to try her dinners yet but haven't heard any bad reviews on anything. always try sending people here and everyone I have always says they are happy I sent them there.

Located in he little town of Guffey CO, what a great find. We stopped to have lunch. The bakery items looked delicious along with candies and fudge. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly reccomend!

This place is a hidden gem in a very small Rocky Mountain town. The food was great and the staff was very nice. It was also nice to converse with the locals who were very polite.

Quaint little shop. Owner works it and is a nice lady. Turnovers were hot from the oven.
