I see why all the bad reviews are about their customer service now. I’ve been coming to this store for a while with no problems until today. I was using a hand basket, and after checking out, loaded my groceries back into the basket to take out to my car. I’ve done this almost every time I’ve come to the store, and I always return the basket. This time, however, I was stopped as I was leaving by the man guarding the self checkout telling me “those baskets can’t leave the store.” He then watched as I struggled to carry everything out by hand. It was incredibly rude and inconvenient. I also saw this same man bullying and yelling at a younger employee to finish her break and get back to work and help them.I will never return to this store after this interaction. I couldn’t believe an employee would treat a customer so poorly.

The older lady (black hair and black glasses) that works in the Deli was very rude! We asked for some delicious meat to be sliced. She just rolled her eyes and had an awful attitude. She probably shouldn't be working with the public if she is going to be rude for no reason

Look I'm not happy reading these reviews this is supposed to be a customer base business and instead of fixing the problem you're directing customers to a website okay you just lost my business..

tried to get a bucket chicken ar 6:30 pm on Tuesday, they could fill the order because they shut off fryer at 6pm, and did not have mash potatos nor JoJo's . pretty sad. you have one job, sell food and you can not cover a bucket meal at 6:30pm

This place sucks! There isn't anything as you would find at king Soopers or Walmart. They staff are rude as well. I don't like this store.

I really enjoy going into the store. I am greeted and waved to by the employees. It is also great to talk with the cashiers as I check out. It is just a nice friendly store to visit. Keep it up!!

Misleading or deceit, but not a mistake! Recently went to purchase cubed steak. Working on the phone ap I noticed that cubed steak was $7.99lb and they had 1.25lb packs for 9.99(works out to 7.99/lb) with a little promo showing $4.99 each when you buy 4. When I got to the store the 4 for $4.99@ were not 1.25lbs but averaged about .80lbs. While that is 6.24/lb and a better price...it certainly isn't what I expected. I did reach out to them in person and have failed to get any response in 10 days and it still shows the same. All I can guess is they are OK with this type of 'bait & switch'

I was loving shopping at this Safeway until today. The deli lady told me they would give me the sale price on my turkey at the front. Emily, at self check left me standing there while she walked it back to deli. Then walked back and said the sale was only on the pan turkey, not the honey turkey (both primo and sign was in front of the honey). She argued with me, then said I’m not going to stand here and argue with you. Her attitude was poor. It was probably a $3.00 difference in the pound of turkey. I won’t return even though it is my neighborhood store. Always very friendly store until today.

I've been to this location only a handful of times, and if I was reviewing it for those, it would have only gotten 2...maybe 3 stars....Yesterday was different! Produce was full and fresh looking, the meat was full and fresh and the isles were mostly full.A stark change from the other times I have been at this lication.Keep it up!

I stopped shopping King Soopers as often and have been going more to Safeway. At both stores, it's the same experience. They say I'm a "valued" and loyal customer. First time at this store. This is a very nice Safeway. Larger than many, with a good selection, and stocked shelves. The staff was friendly and the store appears to be very well managed.I've seen 1 star reviews for the pharmacy. That certainly was not my experience today, which also was my 1st visit. The pharmacy techs were friendly and helpful. The Pharmacist on duty, Richard was very courteous and friendly. He gave me quite a bit of useful information, and great (non medical) pharmaceutical advice, which I very much appreciated. Richard sets the standard for the entire Safeway store, which all the employees should aspire to achieve. Richard gets a smiley face and a gold star! This pharmacy, and the whole store are highly recommended.Update: Now 4 stars due to empty shelves for just about everything I needed. If I'm looking for empty shelves, I might as well shop at Walmart, because every Safeway is WAY overpriced.

This store has an atmosphere that takes me back to when I was a kid I love shopping here every one is nice and the selection of items are great the prices are comparable with the other stores here and it's a layer back experience compared to the other places.

Whomever in middle management thought kiosk surveillance video displaying on the screens isn't a total insult to everyone forced to use kiosks needs to be removed and their salary shifted inside this store to allow more labor hours.The kiosk tech is garbage, it doesn't register I have bagged something, and the live surveillance of me shows on the screen....you dolts!! Maybe your ceo of 8mil is making too much idk.Fix it or I'm petitioning unions and I'm going to ask people to shop elsewhere. Believe me, I have the time.Don't pit store workers against consumers!! This is a poor culture brought on by corporate decisions.This one star is on corporate. Most bad reviews are because you treat employees poorly and your budget meetings grind on labor labor labor labor.....it's a sad inhumane grind and I see it, as someone who is a multi unit manager. I've seen it at this store for 5 years now.Your employees deserve better than you and your customers deserve better than you. FIX ITAdding: thier app is terrible and has siphoned millions from customers nation wide. This location will get $10-15 extra from non sales items listed on sale.

This store is out of stock more often than I'd like it to be but I guess that speaks volumes for the range of items that they have whem they have them as well as the price, cause people are coming and scooping everything up so fast/often. I personally would prefer if there was some sort of overstock so that way things didn't run out as quickly or stay out of stock as long, it would also be nice if more than a few of the registers were ever open, especially duringbusy times(why a million dollar corporation can't affotd to staff their locations at all times is beyond me though..🧐🤔🤔🤷♂️)

Even though they feel like cashiers are un needed after like 7pm, it a great store for good products. I just wish they had cashiers instead of that self checkout, where a sudden cashiers arrives out of nowhere, then allow you to scan, the apples, or that cheesecake, or those tomatoes, or that 6 pack. I just think it goes faster and easier with a human being.

I purchased a prime rib and asked one of the butcher's there if he would cut it into steaks for me. He checked and said he could. Such great customer service and friendly employees not to mention the great deal o received. Great store!!

I have never walked into a grocery store first thing in the morning and been given the feeling of being unwanted then in this store. Nobody said hello or good morning to me as I walked around. All I got were looks from employees that made me feel uncomfortable like they didn't want me in their store. It will be a long time before I shop at this store again. I hope the hire a lot friendlier people.

I was trying to get someone's attention at self check out and when I looked at herto help, she rolled her eyes and kept talking to her coworkers. Not okay. Earlier, I also saw her talking to the girls at Starbucks in a very rude way and it looked like one of them was very upset.

Went in for a few things and came away with a cart full of incredible deals. The store was clean and well stocked. The employees were there and very helpful. The young checker was very polite and seemed happy to be of assistance even though ringing me out was a chore! This was one of the better experiences at Safeway and I was glad I'd stopped in.

What more can I say. It's all about which store suit's you best. What I like about this particular location is it's location while it's very busy at times you can still manage to be in and out with either light last minute items or restocking the house. I'm here every week at the busiest times it seems like. Lol

Located conveniently near me and is clean and organized.Sign up for their loyalty program. Everything is egregiously priced without it. Still expensive with it.I would not make this a regular shopping spot for all your groceries. Good quick stop shop only.

Normally I love Safeway, this one though left something to be desired. If you need help finding something, good luck. My experience…no one would help. I gave it 2 stars simply because a man from the back came out and grabbed carts since no one else would til after he came out. I was looking for 1 thing which apparently had disappeared from the store somewhere. Employees not very friendly at all or at least to me. Felt like I was not wanted there at all. I gave it 2 stars for the man who must have been busy in the back but came up to get carts for everyone.Definitely not a store I’ll be returning to.

My son and I were in the store Monday evening, wanted to buy peaches for$.97 a lb. To get that price we must have digital coupons!! My son spends 15 minutes getting this (he's tech savvy) THEN ONLY ONE OF US GET THIS PRICE BECAUSE OF THE 3LB. LIMIT. WHAT A DISCRIMINATORY POLICY IN MANY WAYS :1) AGE DISCRIMINATION - older adults don't have the skill or phone to get these coupons2) SOCIAL ECONOMIC - not all shoppers can afford smart phones to share coupons.PLEASE RETHINK THE DIGITAL COUPONS!!

The self checkout is way more of a hassle with as many times as it stopped because it didn’t sense my item, than having to wait for a clerk to override took way more of my time than if I would have gone through a cashier so now I definitely only go in if It’s for a couple items

I just stopped in about 5 minutes ago for a Doordash order. The lady at the checkout had seen my phone open with the dasher app. We are new to this so we did not know about removing sales tax. When we politely asked her to remove sales tax she gave us a dirty look and proceeded to say rudely “do you see that sign right there? it’s there because you can’t check out here for Doordash.” Then proceeded to rudely check us out on another register. I am not sure of her name but she was an older lady at self checkout at about 10:14pm. If the sign had been right before you get to checkouts, instead of right above a checkout , we would’ve seen it much better and this could’ve been avoided. I will not be returning unless it’s for work.

I needed help this time. Employee working in isle wouldn't acknowledge me even after I made my 3rd trip in isle. Nobody in deli spoke to me. Walked front end to talk to anyone there are 4 people there and im making eye contact too. No help🙁

Extremely rude cashier today. Not cool. If you choose to work with public be pleasant, not rude and miserable. I never leave reviews however this woman was so rude that it was well worth spending the time to let the world know. Rant over. BE NICE or get a new job!!
