I’ve always had a great experience coming to this safe way and shopping in store. However the drive up and go service was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. My order was supposed to be ready at 5:00 so around 5:10pm I pull in to a spot and it says my order is being picked so great I wait and wait and check again and wait some more. My order is still being picked. Mind you not a large Order either. 6:45pm and my order is still not ready. And you know what my order is still being picked from the shelves. Beyond irritated and upset with the service

My family enjoys grocery shopping. The idea of convenience and layout never seem to work for everyone. This store is always updating or moving items in store for demographics. The best solution is take your time. Employers have a hard time with employees who deal directly with the public. People can be rude and obnoxious. But, the Safeway team needs to realize not everyone is the same. The younger ones need to learn some real lessons about how to deal with customers or store policies. Remember, those people purchasing items pay your salary. So get off your phones and help out once in a while. That goes for obnoxious customers as well.

The experience my family had tonight was unacceptable! Safeway is not our usual store to go to since we live in Evans. We were at centerplace and needed dog food so we stopped by. We had our 3yr old son who was crying to go to the toy machine up front so I took him while my husband was looking for soup. While he was grabbing the soup the man that was advertising at the entrance decided to yell at him “don’t do it, leave the basket” my husband did not know what was going on and realized he was being accused of trying to run out with the shopping cart. This really pissed my husband off so we left the basket and took our services elsewhere. When we were leaving out the store the security woman was waiting outside. We will never go back to Safeway again! He did have a black and gray sweater on maybe they were being judge mental but this is so upsetting! I don’t know where they got that he was trying to take off with the cart he was looking for soup! We do not steal!

Just had a terrible experience at Safeway while checking out. A crazy customer was assaulting a employee named Brandon. He handled the situation with poise. Great staff jumping to help deescalate the situation and help the crazy person get outside and prioritize their employee and other customers ready to check out.Yall should give Brandon a raise because that was not worth his pay🤣No doubt.

Out of the 5 times I've purchased either pickup or delivery groceries in the last 2 months, 5 have included expired items. The point of purchasing items for pickup and delivery is to save time, but it's not very time saving when I have to make trips to other stores to replaced the expired food I get from this Safeway. I continue to try to get groceries here and that's my fault. I will not waste my money here anymore.

The bakery department came thru with these awesome, creative, and funny donuts! We had a party for a nurse Val from the bakery help me come up with the concept of masked and unmasked donuts!! Everyone loved them at the party!! Thanks!

Eric the pharmacist isn't good with people. He was rude and was discouraging. We were going to start using this pharmacy because we live close but dealing with their customer service style makes it not worth it.

All the associates here are just rude! All the up to management!! If I’m shopping as a customer or shopping for others most cashiers here are so negative. Every time I go through Anita’s line it takes 5x longer than it should. She walks away from her register constantly. And then she argues with you about weird stuff. Or you can hear her mumbling something rude under her breath. I use to love coming here…

We have shopped at various Safeways for years, but this one has gone down hill.1. Every time we place a pick up order, things are out of stock, but I go in within minutes of it being processed to find everything.2. The last 2 pick up orders I have done I get home and find 15 roughly things missing that we paid for. We call and complain and the workers argue with me that they are out of stock items and we didn’t pay for them. (We did and they are on our receipt).3. I went in to get the things missed, AGAIN on my pick up order and to get my husband’s prescription. My 2 year old was crying and upset as toddlers do. The manager rudely came all the way across the store to tell me that my sons crying is echoing the store. Instead of asking if she can help, she was basically telling us his crying was a sound she didn’t want to hear. Clearly, I was trying to get my stuff, console him and leave. I would have never had to come in if my pick up order was correct the first time.

Always a pleasant time! 9.5/10 times they have everything on my list in stock. Billy is the best cashier and so many people know and love him, he makes the checkout wonderful.

I am not one to leave reviews, but my experience shopping today was extremely uncomfortable and left me very upset. I was checking out my groceries in self check out and an older woman with short blonde hair stood about 3 feet away from me hovering the entire time. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable and as though she was watching to see if I was stealing. There was no need for her to stand so close to me, I called her out on it and she said she was just standing by for help. That’s not how it came across and I am disappointed because I do majority of my shopping here and spend a lot of money. Likely will not be returning after this experience. I feel extremely humiliated by her doing this and felt discriminated and profiled.

Safeway has to be out of their mind on their produce pricing! We always shop here for their excellent produce quality. Recently they changed their pricing to .99c an Onion and .99c per russet potato. That is crazy pricing. No more reason to go in for other things if this is what they are going to.

We shop at this store all the time and the employees are always very helpful. Today we thought we had a $50 coupon clipped on our account and didn't. They patiently worked with us, and we worked it out.

This Safeway has the best people. My mom has advanced Alzheimers and decided to have a hallucination and drama moment here. Kyle was amazing to my daughter and I. He sat with Mom, not judging and telling us we could relax for a minute and let him help. It was the nicest thing that happened that day. What an amazing guy.

Rosea that works in the pharmacy need to learn customer service. She needs to talk at the customer not the computer screen. I'm hard of hearing and have a hearing aids. There is absolutely no reason to be rude to me!

The only thing I don't like is that they lock the south door at 7p or 8p. It's incredibly inconvenient and makes me go to King Soopers instead when I'm in town at night.The pharmacy has been easy to work with.The store always looks well stocked and clean.

This is my favorite place for fried chicken. The staff her is so helpful.I appreciate them and the cleanliness of the store. The temperature inside is never too hot or cold.Last year I was diagnosed with cancer. I was in the store a couple of days before surgery and had a bit of a fainting spell. The staff were on top of it and made me feel comfortable and safe in a humiliating situation. I will never forget their kindness.

I placed my order 6 days in advance. I asked to have my deli order ready for pickup at 10:30am. I arrived to pick it up at 10:37am. My order was not ready. I was told about 4 excuses why and that I'd need to wait 20 more minutes. I asked if I could take what was ready, so I could get it to the party I was hosting before it started, none of it was ready.They hadn't even started my order. There is no excuse for this. I will not be ordering from the Safeway Deli again. Disappointed.

I live just a few blocks from centerplace so I frequent this Safeway often. I must say, I MUCH prefer shopping in store. I think the cashiers are all super nice and helpful… however, I’m giving 3 stars because the drive up and go department is complete garbage. The substitutions they provide are always awful, if they even bother to substitute your item at all. Multiple times I’ve had to walk in there to grab the other half of my order that was “out of stock” when I placed my drive up and go order. Why do you guys say it’s out of stock when you clearly have it in your store? To top it off, the last time I did a drive up and go order, your staff charged me multiple times for one single order, claiming their card machine wasn’t working and the payments weren’t processing. Nearly 3 weeks later and I’m STILL trying to get my money back from you guys. As a single mother, stealing my money and then taking this long to get it back is truly unacceptable.Edit: I originally gave this 3 stars but after my most recent in store experience and this ignorant response from the “owner”, I’ve decided this store isn’t worth more than a star. And to the “owner” who recommended I contact CUSTOMER SERVICE to get my money back.. you’re funny for thinking I hadn’t thought of that 3 weeks prior to leaving my original review.

I don't normally share reviews for grocery stores but this location had a great selection of fresh produce. What we haven't used in the two weeks since shopping here is still looking good. I don't know what the difference is between them and Walmart or King Soopers but we are converts to Safeway for produce for sure!

I've been to a few different Safeways and this one has been the best so far. The employees are nice and the shelves are always stocked. The produce section is always clean and well stocked. There's always a lot of deals on the app too for in store coupons.

Don't buy the tres leches cake, there's plastic instead of icing between the layers and it's really hard to assemble it back together and still have it look nice. Bummer.
