went into the Greeley location this morning and needed a few things. got some jeans, a few dog beds and needed a xxl dog crate. I first went into clothing, where there were 2 girls working in the jeans, right were I was. I could have used some help finding what I needed, but they were too busy having a full on conversation with each other to even acknowledge my presence, let alone if I needed help. having worked at a Murdoch before for many years, I KNOW that you are supposed to be greeted at least 3 times in the store by someone. clothing failed me there. I then made my way to pet supplies, and then around to the chicks. there were several employees around the area, 2 at least in chicks alone, cleaning the pens and getting them situated for the day. one girl working hard at tha, several other male employees walking round talking, but no one asked me if I needed anything. I went back up to the front, cashier gal was busy, didn’t see me so I went back to the one guy who was cashiering as well and told him I needed assistance getting a cage down from above. he did call for someone and a male employee did assist me. honestly that gentleman the the male cashier were the 2 saving graces that the store had today. But I had literally passed at least 6 employees and still had to track someone down for assistance. thank you to the man who helped me with the crate and waiting to help me out to the car because he knew they would call for a load out anyway. seems quality of assistance over the years has deteriorated. maybe they should stop adding new stores and concentrate more on the quality of service to provide a better customer service to their customers.

Once a great store, now only go if you have too! Feed is never stocked, employees are walking around talking about nothing important, and not even acknowledging customers. Their makeup is more important than helping customers. I spend over 200 a week on feed and always buy more, but today will be the last time. 45 mins waiting for them to find feed, oh yeah 106 in stock they are not hidden. Be better!

***the Cheyenne Murdochs is great***This murdochs is useless if you need feed or minerals for livestock. They are always either out or don't carry what you need. I needed cattle minerals that are common for the area and they had 1 bag of salt and that's it... the next Cheyenne murdochs always has exactly what I needed I just happened to be in Greeley today. This is a overpriced clothing store and not much else. Drive to Cheyenne if you want to go to murdochs.

I had a very awful experience here the store is wonderful but the old lady with blonde hair is an awful employee. She is very disrespectful and isn’t helpful at all she assumed I was trying to “steal” just because I was walking around multiple times looking at everything.

Be careful here! Go to Fort Collins Murdoch’s instead!Ran in and bought a white Yeti, thinking it was a cooler, but when I got down the road I realized it was just a white Yeti brand box, not a cooler.No big deal. I came back the following day, intending to exchange it for an actual Yeti cooler. However, as I was examining the coolers, a rather rude staff member Tammy approached me in the coolers and insisted the Yeti wasn't in a condition to be returned. She said go sell it on the internet. No need to get nasty like that.I was very surprised– I'd just bought it the previous day, it sat in a unused in a new SUV (not even a truck). I had clearly not used it. It had gone from Murdoch’s out to the vehicle and back. It still had the tags on it. Not even 24 hours had passed.This is my first negative experience with Murdoch's, and it was a doozy. The customer service was shockingly bad. It's a shame, considering Murdoch’s is such a nice store. I genuinely prefer supporting local businesses, but if Murdoch’s Greeley wants to let their managers treat customers like that, we can just buy a Yeti cooler and all of our other supplies somewhere else. Imagine if this was not just a $250 item, but a big ticket invoice.Murdoch’s Greeley, I though much better of y’all and am very disappointed. I really hope this was an isolated incident of a manager having a bad day and taking it out on a customer.Went to Fort Collins Murdoch’s and a polite professional manager made it right. So we bought an actual cooler there. Had to drive all the way to Fort Collins but that is okay because I got to discover the Fort Collins Murdoch’s. I will shop there now rather than the Greeley Murdoch’s. It is twice as big and very nice. Most importantly they have good customer service. The manger was professional, friendly and helpful.

Lots to choose from if you're into farm and ranch style. Has a good selection of clothes and a fantastic selection of yeti and other water coolers and bottles in the back. Only reason for the four star was that it was during stampede time so it was very busy and they didn't have quite enough checkers. This probably isn't normal though.

Decent prices. Most products are dusty. 2A section intheback was recently upgraded. So much nicer. Way too many guns in the display case. Tough to see what's available. A bunch of room for improvement but I'm a fan and will continue to support local businesses.

Wonderful store! We've been to a different location, but Greeley is so much better! Great staff, prices & products. The gentleman at the gun counter was so friendly & cute with my 2 year old who had picked out a toy pony. And the best part....THE WOMENS CLOTHES SELECTION IS AMAZING! Got the cutest Western shirt. We were able to find exactly what we came for (gun cleaning kit) and then some (shirt, toy pony) we will be back again...and again and again. The staff truly makes you feel welcome. Thank you Greeley Murdoch's!

I know shame on me for coming so late to get propane refilled I knew for sure they probably wouldn't with them closing in 10 minutes, but to my surprise they Glady filled my tanks for me. The staff is always very nice and this location has a pretty good selection.

1- learn the difference between charcoal and smoking pellets, was told the pellets were charcoal..was so stunned at the stupidity I just walked out stunned..2- don't be rude to customers who are looking for something and need help when they ask you for assistance finding something, sorry to interrupt yals gossip hour but your job is to help customers not give them an attitude because they couldn't find a product.3- I used to love this store, but customer service as of last few times I came in has been horrible, yal are there to work and assist customers, not stand around gossiping and then give additude when asked a simple question..

Once a year they have a HUGE sale on dewalt inventory and are able to get twice as much stuff for half the price. It's the weekend of the 10th. One heck of a deal.

Update: Rachel was irritated when she had to go see if they had air filters and spark plugs for the demo saw I bought there, after I had held for half an hour for someone in that department, but she didn't figure out who it was when she only had one person in that department...This place is definitely going down hill, not the customer service it use to be for sure!One of my favorite stores. A few of the long term employees are still there that know us by name, but we miss the ones that have moved on. We are there at least twice a month or more for various things, sales on Carhartt, hardware, weed eaters or having them repaired, the list goes on... they have so much...Update: Do Not pay for small equipment prior to them starting the item. I left my favorite place to shop last night a little unhappy... Next time I will wait until Woody is working to buy any small equipment!

This goes more for the return policy for Murdoch’s not really this store because I am sure the employees just have to follow rules but I think it’s really dumb that with all original tags, original receipt and only one day from original purchase I couldn’t return a pair of jeans that my husband gifted me they didn’t fit and when I looked for different size or style I just didn’t find any but because I didn’t have his card I couldn’t return it or I would only get store credit. That’s such a hassle because my husband works all day and once he comes home it’s late. Makes me not want to purchase anything there anymore because if for whatever reason I have to return items they make it so hard. Other store will gladly try to work with you!!

Worked there for about 7 months. They were good to me for a bit. They started nit picking at me everyday. They made me feel horrible. I put so much time and effort in to working for them. They fired me because "I was on my phone to much". What a big lie I have never felt so used in my life. I felt like the odd one out. Horrible hardside management there..... I'll never give another dollar to this company....
