This review is a follow up to a previous review that I did months ago in regards to this location. I am happy to say the quality of service and product quality has not changed. I have been coming to this store for many years and I remember coming here as a child with my father. We were always greeted with a smile and the associates have always been extremely helpful in getting my small projects done.At spring time I was worried about my lawn that was on the brinks of death from the previous seasons beating. The guys at Hykes gave me some awesome tips for a greener, healthier lawn. (See photo for results! )I like to do things on my own and the crew at this ace hardware help make that possible. Thanks again for many many years of wonderful service and quality products offered.Hats off to another longtime Greeley business that just makes me so proud to be a returning customer!

The staff are incredibly efficient and friendly, they are more than willing to give advice on what may help work best for you at the lowest cost, and they have convenient UHaul rentals for everything I need in town.

Staff was incredibly rude. Went in to inquire about a BBQ grill that their website says they had available & the two staff members I talked too were beyond rude and refused to look at other stores once we seen they didn’t carry BBQ grills in their store

This is my neighborhood hardware place. 8 years I have walked there to buy filters for my furnace, hoses for watering the garden, replacements for tools lost or worn out over time. Not alot of places know me by name, but most the employees there all know me by now. It keeps me coming back time and again.

This is the closest hardware store to my home. I love the convenience and proximity. I also love the amazing customer service I get with every visit. The atmosphere is great when you are in a fixer up mindset. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable, prices are always competitive and the fact that it is locally owned and operated helps me make the decision to shop at my hometown hardware store rather than a large corporate business. Ace definitely is the place.

Asked for help and the man who showed us where the pvc pipes were and almost immediately ran off before we could ask any questions. The prices were not clearly marked, and we couldn't figure out which price went with the ones we needed. Ended up leaving and going to another Ace instead.

This is the best hardware store in Greeley. Erik, the owner, and the rest of the staff are fantastic. Unlike other hardware and home improvement shops in town, these people are actually available and willing to assist. Walking in, you are greeted by the smiling faces of team members willing to guide you to what you need. They make the buying process fast and efficient. The paint department was knowledgeable about interior decor, helping to select the right color for my needs. They were quick in custom mixing and the final product was exact. Although a small store, Erik was able to order in anything I needed and have it in a couple days. Their blade sharpening service was also drastically faster than anywhere else from Fort Collins to Greeley - with a 2 day turn around compared to 2 weeks elsewhere. While this store may be a out of the way, you're much better served coming here over the other stores in Northern Colorado.

Great story if you want that classic Hometown Hardware Store feel, I believe that this Ace Hardware at one time supplied all the building materials needed for the town of Greeley and they have resisted a remodel of the store since 1982, great staff and lots of stuff packed into such a small location

Home Depot has its place, but small local well run hardware stores cannot be beat. No wandering through endless aisles. No one is stealing parts out of packages and all the parts are in their proper places. Thank you.

DON'T RENT ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE we rented a car dolly from here and we had it for less than a hr and we tock it right back. We didn't think anything until we got a letter a month later it said we had to pay a lot of money. So we went in and they said they would fix it and we have it all recorded every time we talked to them so watch out. IF YOU WANT THIS PLACE TO STEAL YOUR MONEY RENT FROM THEM BUT IF NOT "DON'T GO HERE" I don't ever recommend you go to this place

Everyone here is soo kind and helpful. They all know where to find what I need. And Their products are great. Better quality stuff than home depot and I didn't have to buy in bulk, just what I needed. Their Stone cutting blades helped me get the kitchen sink in cut and smoothed out. Their masonry screws held these maple hardwood cabinets in place without hindrance. It's alot of photos but it's to show that Hykes has what You need to create something excellent. Thank You Guys.

Yesterday, I called Hykes Ace Hardware and inquired about their handling of this virus mess! I was assured that all precautions were in place and to come in OR pull my Jeep by the front door and call in again! Having had past experience with this super establishment, I masked. Up and put on some fresh gloves. I was greeted as I entered by a masked employee, my favorite. He understands my sense of humor! He went way out of his way to accomidate my order an I left with a smile, knowing I had AGAIN come to the correct plac! The “Helpful Hardware Man” is truly a great description!,,,

This place is ridiculous we rented a U-Haul car dolly from them and we took it back less than an hour later and then next thing you know they wanted to charge us over $250 and when we went over there the manager said he was going to fix it and take care of it and here it is a month later and they're still trying to take money off of my card stay as far as you can away from this place I highly recommend that you do not go here
