Emergency!!! Here's our story, my 14 month old Akita was taken into Banfield to get fixed. It's a simple procedure. But something went terribly wrong.They rushed the procedure, and my puppy is paying the price. She has a super bad infection. Her belly is filling with pus, and her is crashing.Only a day after the procedure, I'm down at the animal emergency hospital. And they can't believe how bad of condition she is in.We've been giving her medicine and taking very good care of her. And the animal hospital CAN'T BELIEVE WHAT THIS PROCEDURE DID TO OUR ANIMAL!!! We've already paid $5000 to try and save our animal. Please help us to get this story out. I don't ever want this to happen to anybody else's animalsOur hearts hurt for our puppy

The vets and staff are extremely courteous, professional and caring. They insured that all my concerns and questions were addressed. That I had the information I needed to make informed decisions in the best interest of my service dog. I feel safe having Hank in their care.

Banfield was great. It's not our normal vet that we go to, but our dog cracked open her doo claw and we just needed a quick visit. They got us a window to come in on Monday with her. When I showed up the ladies behind the front desk were super nice and got me signed in promptly. The wait was short before going back and meeting the nurse that would be dealing with my pup. She was also super nice and made Freya feel very comfortable. She ran me over every possible thing they might have to do so I had an idea of what to expect, but narrowed it down to the more likely options that would probably occur. So I had a very transparent idea of what this visit might cost. They tried just cleaning the claw up and doing a pedicure with her but in the end because my dog is squirmy about her nails they did end up having to lightly sedated her. They didn't do so without calling me and confirming that was fine before moving forward though. Which was awesome. Then when they were all done they gave me a window to picker her up, and the out process was simple with little to no wait. The price was very affordable for what was done. We will definitely use Banfield again at the very least as a secondary vet clinic.

I brought my dog Bentley in on Monday because he hadn’t eaten in three days, and was very weak and vomiting. He wouldn’t even stand or sit up. All they did besides offer bloodwork sell me some expensive medicine that didn’t work. The next day, he was in very bad shape, and I took him to the emergency hospital, and he PASSED AWAY on the way there. He needed IMMEDIATE nutrition, and none of that was offered. He needed fluids. He needed food he needed hydration. I would NEVER tell anyone to go here. They saw how weak he was, and hardly did anything.

Extremely disappointed in my visit today. I brought both my dogs in for a wellness exam and vaccines. I let the vet team know upfront that my tiny 12lb. dog was a lot more anxious and harder to work with, advised him that the previous vet put a muzzle on him & it took two people to give him a shot. I should have known from the moment he said , "I am not going to force it," that he had no intentions on giving my dog any vaccines. My dog has been vaccinated at plenty of pop up clinics with much less hassle.I also had issues with communication, & prices. Not to mention the rooms they put you in are extremely hot & stuffy & expect to wait a long time for the exams to not be preformed in your face so you don't even know what they actually did because they take the dogs in the back while you wait in a stuffy room. Will not be returning.

I did the pet insurance with them And was doing the monthly withdrawals and decided to opt out, and in doing so they decided to charge Full of $$ for service I never received!! No worth it ! I’d go to habitat for Humanity for any type of shots or care of my dogs.Plus they always wanna add something that my dog don’t need. Run!

My dog Rambo was seen at the Greeley, Colorado on Tuesday April 16th. I am unhappy with the quality of care that he received my pup went in initially for limping on his Hein leg and they encouraged me to get an x-ray as well as pay an additional fee to have the radiologist review the x-ray results and said that I would get the results within a 24 hour window. The vet said that my pup from her observation and her looking at the x-ray she was not able to see anything but encouraged me to wait until the radiologist could look at it within the next day. Yesterday I spent most of the day trying to be in communication with the office to get his results and called on four different occasions with nobody offering me any  Advice or results. I also asked to get a copy of his x-ray so that way I can seek medical advice outside of the facility and have yet to receive a copy of that as well. Fast forward to today Thursday 48 hours later I have yet to receive any phone call from the facility any copy of his x-ray and I am extremely upset as my pup continues to limp and be in  Pain. I called in this morning to cancel my care plan as I am not happy with the quality of care and honestly neglect that was given by this facility. They did not fulfill their promise on taking care of my pup , giving him quality care and giving me the Customer a negative experience not to mention my pups issues have not been resolved. I am currently waiting at the office to waiting to speak to someone and as I sat here and complained I finally got an email with his xray! What a joke !! But no one has came out to address any of my concerns. If you care about your pets please I advise that you take them any place but here .

The Wellness Plan was not explained to me in detail. I was not aware that I was signing up for a $912.00 loan at the time. When I found out that certain "wellness care" procedures would cost XXX more, and then asked about what I was paying for I was told that charges are not covered under the wellness plan. Then when I called to cancel the plan I was told that i could cancel for $532.32 due immediately! This is after I have already paid 3 months on the plan and another $550.00 out of pocket for "other care" not covered under the plan. Had this all had been explained to me properly so that I clearly understood what I was signing up for, I would never have signed up for this!!! I found actual pet health insurance that includes "Wellness Care" for $15 a month less that what I am paying for this ridiculousness!!! Do yourself a favor if you are in need of vet care, go find an actual vet clinic that hasnt been commercialized!!!

We have been using Banfield for our pets for 8 years now. Some of the staff had changed, but they consistently have knowledgeable, friendly people & the vets have been great to work with for both us & our pets.

Nice apt, but like everything else in Denver, expensive. My son likes it and he is the one that lives there. Very close to parks and Colfax businesses. The balcony is a nice size, not like those tiny ones you can barely put a chair in. Parking on the Street is a pain in Denver, but doable if you are patient and drive around till you find a spot..

Unsafe, unknowledgeable, poorly trained, sad excuse for a vet.Issue #1. As a K9 professional myself I had a dog that displayed strange symptoms of a larger health condition. I brought it to their attention even by name (lupus). Two vets assured me she was fine and no issues. Things got worse and I brought her to west ridge. (CSU was three months out on appointments or I would have chosen there) it took West Ridge 20 minutes and one test and she was diagnosed with lupus.Issue #2. The “wellness plan” this is a scam. We received a shot and a dewormer. I tried canceling it after 3 months in store. They give you a card with a number. You have to call and wait over 2 hours on hold to even talk to them (the vet in store told me this would happen when I called and gave me a second number which was useless because they will not talk to you about canceling) they wanted $800 more to cancel on top of the $247 I had already paid. I told them to stop auto debuting my account and they refused. I had the bank ban them from being able to do this afterwards. They refused to send me an invoice for what their claim I owed them. We have filed suit and are currently waiting litigation in Greeley.In conclusion, this “Vet” is not for the health of our beloved pets, rather a corporate money scheme. You’ve been warned.I would recommend Edward’s veterinary clinic here in Greeley as a better and lower cost option.

I debated sharing this review as I normally am the biggest supporter of Banfield. Don’t get me wrong I still am, but not this particular one.I did a drop off for my dogs and when I left my dog was perfectly happy and healthy. When I got her back she was injured. Granted this could not be a case of abuse and maybe she simply jumped off the vet table or out of the kennel and landed on her foot wrong and maybe it’s sprained BUT regardless I wasn’t made aware of any injuries or issues. I called the next morning as my dog was still not putting weight on her back leg and stopped eating/drinking so I was concerned maybe it was a vaccine reaction. The lady I spoke to on the phone was awful. She disregarded my concerns and didn’t care to answer the other questions I had. When I called back I got the same lady and she was still rude with no remorse.I love the vets there and will continue to go to Banfield but just not Greeley. As for my dog, she’s still unwell and not putting weight on her leg 3 days later. Fort Collins Banfield was helpful and really took care of my dog after this issue and said nothing was broken or dislocated. So, I recommend just making the drive to Fort Collins even for something like a basic nail trim.

One of the most kind and caring animal hospitals I have ever been to. They took great care in explaining and talking about all options of not only different care plans but what we can do for my pup on our first visit and the next few. They explained to me how we can help/control his anxiety and how the first visit could be a “happy one” where he just get treats and loves and no vaccinations so that he isn’t scared the next time we come to visit Banfield. Everyone is so kind and understanding. I know my dogs health is in good hands. Thank you, Banfield!

I would strongly recommend Banfield, I have 3 puppies that I take there and they have always been treated like their own puppies, so I feel confident in all that they say and recommend. They also did all 3 of their spay/neuter surgeries and we had no issues at all .

Doctor Gould was a saint!!!!Her knowledgeable instruction from years of experience, her gentle touch, and her kind demeanor helped my poor Luna's eyes heal up quickly. 🐕A puppy had scratched her eyes and made her look like this... But thanks to Dr Gould she's happy as can be!

I have been coming here for years with three pets. Multiple Vets have treated my Fur-Babies at this location. Very Caring people here. They check in the next day after every visit. The only issue I have is I wish they had an Emergency Clinic within. I hate going elsewhere and I had to last weak for one of my girls. She had an UTI and it cost us an arm and a leg at a local 24 emergency clinic, recommended by Banfield. This should be part of the wellness plan and it isn't. $200 later after the visit, I still had no answers just speculation unless I wanted to fork out an additional $600 for ultrasound, biopsy, and meds. We got some comfort meds until I could get her to Banfield, which unfortunately was booked for a few days unless I went out of town with an unknown VET. I watched the online booking for a day and got in sooner than the initial booking said I would on the weekend here in Greeley. They confirmed what I suspected and treated my girl with an antibiotic and she is much better for it. The added expense could all have been avoided with the Emergency Clinic at Banfield. Just my Two Cents if you listen to your customers. Otherwise from all that, this place has done well by me.

This is a great place to take your pet they take there time to really check your pet and see what's all wrong. They are a very friendly staff and a great place very clean and sanitary. We drive out of town to go here. I would recommend them 100%. For all your pets emergency needs.

It's nice having the security of being able to take my dogs in when they need to be seen. My Maximus has become increasingly fearful and finally he got the medicine he needed to not be in constant state of anxiousness. Now he smiles so much more

Beware the Vet will try and sell you on a monthly subscription vet package before they even look at your pet! If you refuse the package they basically write you off as if you or your pet aren't worth their time. They will schedule you for a follow-up appointment and charge you full price as regular appointment, seems sketchy because my own physician doesn't charge for a follow-up. During that follow-up they claim to do tests you paid for however they never contact you with the results because they don't care and most likely didn't even do the tests. The Vet claimed if our pet didn't like the prescription food that we could return it for a refund, on our follow-up she denied that she said that, she must not have known she was on video...

My mom brought our family dog. The entire staff was absolutely amazing and kind and empathetic to our situation. We did not feel rushed, we felt they really cared for our dog, and didn’t push for a million expensive diagnostics that wouldn’t have been necessary for a suffering dog. I was very impressed to the point where I will start bringing my dogs here. The front office staff is even wonderful which is so rare to see these days. I think they're great for simple things but might not be the best option for what you may need. Overall pleasant experience however they did seem a bit rushed and just blew through the entire visit. Knowledgeable and their affordable pet care plan they have is a good one. So meh if you need something simple and don't mind being rushed I'd go here. If you'd rather have a more personal experience Id try somewhere else.
