Normally I don’t write these, but after this mornings experience I need to. Ordered a grilled cheese with tomato and avocado. Got sandwich went to work to open and find a ham and cheese with tomato and lettuce. Went back over and said this is not what I ordered. Remade sandwich, I opened it up there to find lettuce instead of avocado. Went back to him and stated this still isn’t correct, i have now attempted to order this twice, and he came back with I am pretty sure you said lettuce and argued with me, I have ordered this consistently with the female employee there the last couple weeks without issue. And now after ordering, went back and was wrong, reordered, and he still couldn’t get it correct but I said lettuce, but he gave a ham and cheese originally, l think he needs to listen better. I will not be buying my breakfast here anymore. It is a treat for me to go and spend 10+ dollars on a grilled cheese sandwich and it was not busy. I ordered, someone behind me ordered a coffee which he made first, and than my order. No one else came in. Said my order to him twice but I said lettuce. There are more breakfast places in town that won’t give you lip after screwing up your order twice. I would recommend going to one of those instead.

Love this coffee+ shop! The bagel sandwiches were great and the bean and cheese burrito was so good. We also had coffee, spicy iced Chai tea latte (best I've had in a while) and a Corona! It was awesome that we could all get what we were looking for! They even have ice cream but the burrito was calling my name so I skipped it. Stop by here for quick, delicious, food and drinks!

Unfortunately I was not able to try the food. Went in to have breakfast with the family. Ordered 40+10 tip worth of food. But the order did not go through on their POS even after I signed. I checked my Visa app and there was a charge pending. Showed it to the owner and she was not budging. Saying it didn't show on her system, and wanted us to pay again. We refused as the payment was pending on our end. She told us then to call my bank to request a cancellation. All this time she was rude and confrontational. Have NEVER ran into someone who ask me to do this. This is not how you run a business. About 15 minutes of me calling the CC the owner informed me that it finally showed on their system and asked if we still wanted the food. The young lady who took our order was super nice and helped us throughout the process. The owner never apologized when realizing we were actually right. We decided to take a refund and support a different local restaurant. We were visiting this town and would not recommend this coffee place. The owner needs to learn how to treat and maintain customers. However, the staff seems friendly and supportive of customers.

We both got bagel sandwiches and lattes. The lattes were okay... My husband's was too sweet and mine tasted like there was no flavoring. The bagel sandwiches were decent, but I think we overpaid for what we got. However, this coffee shop is a gem for Grand Lake.

We stay in Grand Lake often at a family cabin and The Hub is a must stop. Good coffee, yummy pastries and ice cream. The staff is efficient and very nice. And they have several sugar-free syrups!!!We really missed it when it was closed for renovation. It's by far our favorite place for coffee.

I was excited to try the food at this modern, trendy looking place in Grand Lake. It was very hot that day. We were both underwhelmed with the place sadly. As former restaurant owners we strongly believe that the customer service (if great) can make up for somewhat mediocre food. Well unfortunately the young man at the counter not only never greeted us but seemed very intent on not showing the least interest in his customers. Come on people! I ordered the California Turkey panini. It was basically a grilled cheese sandwich with deli meat. Very hot (microwaved) and just a hot mess. Almost inedible terrible waste of 9$ the people brought the drinks out with no glasses, no napkins, etc etc. The one positive was they had a shaded area to eat. Fail

The owner of the establishment was very hateful and rude. Provided awful customer service at the register and when I went to the barista to simply ask how to get my coffee sweeter and I was happy to pay the difference, the owner had the gall to say “we already put 6 pumps” in it. What should it matter if I wanted 3 or 6 more pumps to make it even sweeter. If I am willing to pay extra to get the coffee like I want it, shouldn’t she want a customer happy with their purchase? I was not looking for anything free and was very friendly asking my question to the barista. I live 3 hours away from Grand Lake and am disgusted with her service, especially with knowing she was the owner. If you cannot handle the stress of being busy with customers, then work in the back. I will tell everyone about my bad experience and do NOT recommend going here. The ONLY positive outcome was the barista, she went above and beyond to make me happy as a customer and made my coffee sweeter and she apologized for me being so upset. She knows what excellent customer service means. I didn’t get her name but THANK YOU for your great service. The owner needs customer service training!!!!! 😡

Friendly staff and customer service, good lattes, breakfast burritos seem like they were frozen and then warmed, ends of the 2 burritos were rock hard. Don’t recommend burritos.

We visited the Grand Lake area for two weeks in Sept of 2022. We had coffee at The Hub nearly every morning of our visit. We got a 12-Oz whole milk latte every time (sometimes two). Having worked for a coffee establishment, my husband is super picky about his morning brew. We both felt The Hub was excellent. Never too hot or too cool. The vanilla scone was also tasty. Service was good, even on mornings they looked overwhelmed. The line goes pretty quickly. Their patio is dog-friendly and you will likely see many well-behaved dogs there. Sometimes there can be a few persistent yellow jackets/bees. Fair priced and well appointed. A good place to do a lot of people-watching.

Stopped in for a sandwich at lunch time. Was not greeted even though the place was empty. The guy at the register just had a dumb look on his face and made us feel like we needed to rush to decide. A girl in back was leaning against a wall licking something off a spoon. Yuck.I ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap and a hard seltzer. We sat outside and the dude brought out the can of seltzer. I had to ask for a cup and ice. When the girl brought my sandwich it was wrapped in foil. No napkin or anything. She told me to get my own napkins at the coffee station. I had to go in to ask for a plate as well. The wrap was pretty blah. I might check out their coffee next time I'm in town, but would not order lunch again. It seemed to have more of a coffee shop vibe. Bathroom was clean.

Unfortunately the owner of this business treats her employees terribly with verbal abuse and confusing chaos. There has been a TON of people from GL who will never work for The Hub again including her previous GM's because of this. I would highly recommend you patronize another coffee shop that actually treats their employees with kindness and respect.

Maybe it was an off day but the burrito was still very cold in the middle and soggy. The coffee and the pastries were good. There was also another customer who asked their food to be remade so just a heads up.Vegetarian options: Egg and potato burritos

The first day I stopped in, the staff were super nice even though I walked in about 2 minutes before they close. The second day I came for breakfast, and got the egg and potato breakfast burrito smothered in green chili and cheese. The green chili is vegetarian which is great for me, and everything tasted great! Overall cute space, nice coffee and food, and kind staff.
